Just making an OOC so we can chat about some things.

Aurius:
Your entry post is a bit much. You enter the thread, somehow know instantly that two disguised Sith are killing a Jedi even without them stretching out their arms or doing anything to attract attention. Then you someone get every single person plus guards to look at us with a dramatic point and yell. I'm happy to have some pvp but this is way way too much and feels like a godmode of the situation. Technically you're not making an attack with your first thread in a pvp which is great and follows the rules there, but it feels borderline like using the NPCs to do the attack for you.

Hopefully we can have some fun though!

It's also worth noting that I inquired bout the state of Manaan, and it's quite similar to how it operates in KotOR. Wantonly brandishing your weapons - even having them visible - will get you more police presence on you than who you are trying to accuse.

Seems like the Jedi might be in more trouble than we are if authorities show up. :p

You must understand that the Guards are not under my control, nor do I intend to have them attack you. Riling up the crowds was actually to break your characters concentration. I'm only calling you out. Secondly, did you at any point state you were disguising your manipulations of the Force or your own Force Aura, prior to my post? If not, then a Jedi Knight going through the process of becoming a Jedi Master would INSTANTLY be able to recognize such darkness in his immediate presence. Especially considering Venatus has made a living fighting dark warriors, and was once one himself, he knows what to look for in the hearts of his opponents. I can edit the post down for you if that is what you'd like, but the gist will likely be the same.

Furthermore, I have many many training threads that were specifically designed to give the characters training in sensory identification. I did state my character had folded his aura in with the Force before entering your vicinity. Also, the writeup on Manaan doesn't state that it is like KOTOR, as far as I am aware, we were just talking about that not so long ago. If it is so and that is clarified by staff, I would be more than happy to edit the post down further.

The results were immediate and satisfying, as the entire crowd began to notice what was occurring, only furthering the publicity of the situation.

Seems like you are controlling the crowd pretty hard to me, and in a single entry post to a thread. You manage to in the split seconds we are choking someone out, run through a huge crowd, do tons of actions, and then point at us and godmode the crowd into seeing us. This is the main concern. Even if you managed to do it, the timing would not align and you certainly don't get to do it in a single post.

Does keeping your hands at your sides dampen your force aura? Nayeli is a Sith Master, her presence is like a black hole in the Force. Something like that doesn't get covered up so easily.

I can edit that down for you if you'd like, but I will most definitely be calling you out. I can edit down my movements through the crowd, or change them to be empathic manipulation. I leave the choice to you.

Maybe not to your Jedi, but the general crowd probably wouln't give two ewoks about some fully armored crazy person screaming about stuff none of them can see. Starting off a potential pvp with out the spirit of cooperation isn't putting us on a good path.

I'd also like to mention that instantly crushing heads isn't really kosher either, but I assume @Black Noise character will have the opportunity to break out of that.

I am not trying to be uncooperative, otherwise, I wouldn't be asking what you guys want me to do. I'm trying to work with you here, the Force Aura was something Venatus could notice, at no point did I insinuate the crowds somehow know you are Sith. The only reason they would even find out is that of Ven's yell.

Black Noise made his choice when he walked up to two people above his level in a pvp thread as an enemy. He also didn't instantly post one make an issue. Your response so far can be summed up as "My post isn't changing at all I'm doing this but I'll modify the fluff that goes in my favor"

I've had enough OOC arguments to know to stay impassive and professional. Sometimes that comes across as cold and argumentative to some, and a really don't want to give off that impression. I AM editing the post down, I just need to know in what way will work for you. Empathy is something Ven uses, he could rile up the crowd that way, or just push through.

Also, this isn’t really how sensing force auras works. You can’t just walk up and pinpoint us as Sith. I’m in mobile but there is a write up detailing how forxr sense works, I think.

You are forcing a reaction that should be earned not thrown into a single post to try to mess up your enemies. Enemies that are disguised as tourists and hiding their actions so as to not look suspicious. I'm happy to have you notice us, a little meta-gaming has to happen for the Roleplay Forum to work, and you can even shout. Godmoding will never fly with me though.

I could always play it off as the initial manipulation starts on post one, and perhaps by post two or three people are starting to feel these emotions bouncing around them. I could just have Venatus in the crowds waiting to lunge and attack. Whichever works for me, unless you don't want him pissing the spacer off and riling the crowd that way.

I'm sorry you see it that way, and I apologize for making you feel so strongly in this argument due to your opinion on the matter. As I have stated, I am in the process of editing that post down. We're all on the same site here, guys, and I'm not aggressing or attempting to "God-Mode". I would appreciate if you would stop insinuating that, thank you, because it's uncalled for. Notice how I asked about the head crush? Asked about what I could do to edit? Measure your responses to the situation instead of jumping down my throat on assumptions alone, please. I'm human too, I make mistakes too, and I certainly as heck don't deserve that.

Then I'm sorry, they seemed very accusatory to me, and I reacted defensively, that's on me. That was not my intention. Of the options above, which sounds the most logical? They aren't the only options, but I'm naming some off based off of what I want Ven to be doing.
