So, this was the place. Arhena had been deployed on a secretive mission by none other than the likes of his fellow Knights Lucian Volante and Albert Penumbris. Something about a derelict shipyard deploying extreme defenses against them. Of course, that was all they managed to get across through the blaster fire before their signal cut off. With the blessings of the Council, and permission to bring his fellow Knights to aide in the restoration of a hyperspace route, Arhena had borrowed one of Aliyah's freighters for the mission. The Rustbucket was about as pretty as the name suggested, but the old YG-1292 still preformed her job

At his side was a Jedi he had met earlier on in a small skirmish on Tanaab. Thrash was a Jedi Emissary and an absolute pleasure of a Knight to be around. A little serious, maybe, but serious was probably good for the kind of trouble he expected to walk into. The other Jedi he had yet to meet, and since they hadn't been introduced he wasn't sure what they'd be like. He was still sporting his run-of-the-mill dueling armor, green lightsaber and blaster. He didn't exactly have the time to outfit himself with cool new gadgets, this was a rather last minute situation. Spinning the pilot's chair around as they approached the shipyard, he looked them both directly in the eyes with his own shining white iris', grinning gently.

"Alright, we're approaching the docking bay. Be careful, our flyboys seem to have stirred up some trouble inside, and we're the cleanup crew."

Spinning the chair ninety degrees to the left, he tapped a small button and began to flick various switched, spurring the holoscreen to life with a display of the shipyard's old schematics. A red flickering dot near the center hummed to life at yet another button press, as well as an active tracker in green gently sailing towards it, off-map. The blueprints had been discovered shortly after the call came in within the Jedi Libraries, he had made sure to find at least something that would give them an idea of what they were walking into, and how far they had to go.

"We need to reach the central control chamber located here, and shut down these security droids before they blast our friends into oblivion. I'll be honest, this doesn't sound like it will be easy, and we can't negotiate or mindtrick droids. I'd recommend just scrapping them, and moving on, the longer we wait the more dangerous this is going to get. We have limited time before those droids outnumber everyone in the shipyard twenty to one, so we'll need to be faster than a spacer on spices.

Any questions?"

Great! Just what she needed, a short trip off lovely Tython in exchange for a mission into some ridiculous space station to fend off against inorganic machines without a proper kill switch. It wasn't hard to tell that the pantoran jedi was slightly irritated with this mission, as she would have much rather preferred to be out in the galaxy hunting down Sith. Regardless, she attempted to display an affectionate and welcoming smile. She had met Arhena before, the boy was young, but he was well mannered and had good intentions at heart, that is all that she truly cared about. The other jedi she had never met before but was eager to see how they would all work together.

"Very well Arhena, let's get this thing docked and see about slicing up these machines into more manageable pieces." She snickered lightly, though one could easily tell there was a hint of sadistic thrill laced in the back of her tone.

Vixur buckled the last strap of his armor, sliding a power back into his backup blaster a second later. It figured that the first time he had decided to help with one of these mercy runs they had gotten lost, to an unknown world no less. He had heard of Byss of course, everyone had. The mythical place was the stuff of legend, one of the stories the young Clawdite had enjoyed when he was but a teenager, adjusting to the monk-like order. Vixur couldn’t help but admit to himself that he was interested in this place, but he couldn’t let this distract him from the mission at hand.

In response to the team leader’s witty remark, the Clawdite would grunt, spinning the blaster pistol on his finger before jamming it down into its holster alongside his sabers. He didn’t give much for banter, but at least this pretty boy seemed somewhat competent. However, the other alien could be just as foolhardy as his now-turned friends. He needed to guard their backs as much as possible, as well as protecting his own.

Listening quietly to the boy’s speech, the Clawdite made a small grunt of disagreement,We need to be fast, but also not foolhardy. We are heavily outnumbered, it would do well to try and thin their numbers before fully committing.” Vixur stated his voice deep despite its misuse.

[AAAAA sorry this took so long! Faded, am I correct in assuming this is the first time they've seen each other? Cause Thrash and Vixur are in a lot of threads together lol]

The hanger was a hive of activity.

The station had been 'awake' for some time now and it was not quiet in it's activities either.

Already there were four Locust scavenger droids buzzing around the area, picking the hanger clean in their search for organics who had evaded capture and termination thus far.

At the only internal exit to the hanger were four GR8 Battle Droids watching the doors, their blasters ready and their sensors scanning for any approaching threats.

The entire station was ready and waiting for any signs of activity...

As soon as the ship began to enter the hanger all of the droids turned their attention to it. Even as it was landing the ship came under attack, the scavenger droids beginning to attack the ship from the outside with their laser cutters to disable it's engines so there would be no escape.

Arhena's eyebrow flitted upwards at Thrash's unusually volatile undertone. It was concerning, just a little bit, but this wasn't really the place or time to be questioning each other's motives. Though he did note to mention it later, maybe to someone who'd actually have a chance asking her without being offensive. He was way too honest, he'd be too blunt, it wouldn't end well. His face returned to normal almost immediately, shaking his head sarcastically. His features became slightly more hardened, stoic and serious as Vixur replied with a grunt before stating his concerns.

Makes perfect sense, but I don't think we have that luxury right now.

"Granted. However, we hardly have time to pick them off one by one. If we wait, everyone aboard this shipyard will be overwhelmed and die. If you don't believe me, check the scanners..."

The holoscreen began to blink and change display, red text running across the top left and a number of red markers approaching a radar-like overview of the front of the starship. The displays gave an high estimated number of electronic signatures moving towards their location.

"We've got signatures swarming... ohhh sithspit!"

Spinning his chair back around, he tapped a few more buttons before the ship's alarm system began to blare. Blaster bolts began to pocket the ship's cockpit area, thinly deflected by the freighter's shields. Pulling back on the throttle, he moved it into a dull hover, diverting most of the engine power to the shields. He had no manually deployable point defense systems installed, but he wasn't just going to fly into there with so many already swarming the entrance. Luckily, he did have a rather big gun on the top of the vessel. Turning his head to his partners, he calmly spoke.

"I need someone on that gun. Blast those things to hades, I'll pull us in. Whoever's staying behind, get to the landing ramp and get ready to fight."

He began to spin his chair around as they went to work, but put his foot down loudly seconds before they left for one final word.

"Be careful, both of you. Once you're finished on that gun, get to the ramp, we'll be waiting for you."

“I am well aware of our situation,” Vixur replied, before the incoming contacts distracted him as well. Through the viewport, he could see the hangar, already occupied by several droids, and all of them opening on the landing shuttle. The quick reactions of the team commander likely saved their lives, but only temporarily if the infiltration team didn’t do something, and fast!

Vixur gave a quick nod to the human’s statement, turning on his heel and sprinting towards the gun port on top of the ship. The ship’s alarms blared their discordant tune as the shields continued to take fire from the squad of droids. The Clawdite practically threw himself into the gunner’s chair, quickly buckling up and bringing the targeting computer online. Vixur spun the turret around, prioritizing those droids approaching the vessel’s engines as he let off a quick three-round burst, hoping to take the aggressors all out in one go!

The Pantoran Jedi snarled at the thought of having to engage in confrontation so soon, realizing that perhaps this diplomatic assignment would be less about politics and more about her weapons. She watched as Vixur ran for the gun, her eyes shifting back towards Arhena as she began to dart for the cargo hold. "I'll be down there, may the force be with you!" She stated as her palm smashed against a red button on the wall, latch sliding open as a gust of wind blew into her face.

Right hand flicked for the saber at her waist, pressing the button on the side as the blue plasma blade ignited. The knight leaped from the open latch onto the swelling leading into the hangar entrance, her body rolling onto the ramp and then came to crouch behind large storage boxes on the ramp for cover. Attention focused on one of the scavenger droids that would most likely begin firing towards her position, Force wrapped around her body as she lashed out with the palm of her hand, telekinetic tendrils seeping from her fingertips and attempting to smack against the durasteel torso of the inorganic being. The attack would hopefully levitate the creature and hurl it towards its comrades @Nefieslab

The scavenger droids were very well designed for their job - as small and as agile as they were, they actually got beneath the umbrella of most shields to attack the metal directly and that was exactly what was happening here. Like a space station designed with fighting capital ships in mind being weak against low-flying fighters, so too was happening here with the droids, who were beginning to play havoc.

Already the pilot would begin to notice that less power was making it to the engines, making it harder to keep the ship afloat where it was. A proper landing would need to be done soon or it would be a crash landing.

As the scavenger droids were spread out they weren't an easy target, but Vixur still managed to take out two of the four droids with the turret, lessening the continuing damage.

Thrash, once she was out of the craft, would be able to grab onto one of the two remaining scavenger droids and throw it in the direction of the other, but it was agile enough to evade it's captured brother, leaving the droid to be smashed against the ship itself instead.

As the only one off the ship however, Thrash drew the attention of the four GR8 battle droids, all four of which began to assault her cover with sustained blaster fire. If the pressure wasn't taken off of her soon the cover would break and she would be exposed.

The freighter's alarms began burring as red warnings started to prompt all across the holoscreens. Those scavenger droids were tearing the back of the Rustbucket apart, the freighter was almost pulling into a corkscrew because of it. He didn't have a choice, he needed to land, and it wouldn't be a pretty sight. He swore loudly as he saw Thrash charge into the open hangar and become engaged with not one, but five enemies at once. Veering away from her position, he swung wide, striking the last scavenger with the hull impact. Lowering the landing gears, he immediately stood up and braced himself as he heard the engine sputter once and give way.

Aliyah's gonna kill me for this.

"Vixur, regroup on me. That ship is sitting nerfs!"

The message blared outwards on his allies' commlink system, even as he charged through the lounge area to the outer storage and hurled himself over the crates to the lowered ramp below. Keeping an eye out for the clawdite Jedi, Arhena spun on his heels to see all of the battle droids open fire on the Thrash. He'd thought they'd learned their lesson on Tanaab, but I guess it was a two time charm situation. Before he even considered grabbing his lightsaber, Arhena reached out through the living force and found the energy of the droids in front of him. He felt the mechanics moving within, he felt the mechanism of their internal blasters cocking and firing, and seized them all at once. It would simply bend the barrels into unmanageable shapes, causing the plasma to misfire and damage the droids.

"Cover, NOW!"

Almost grabbing Thrash by the shoulder, he pulled them both back behind a thick layer of durasteel plating that came from the wall. It was rusted, but it was strong enough to withstand a beating. By this time the clawdite had most likely joined up with them, and Arhena could clearly see the way forward. The only problem was how much resistance they'd have before reaching the doorway and the hall forward. Keeping his saber ready in his left hand, he drew his blaster pistol with the right and nodded to his two intrepid Jedi. He then motioned towards the stretch between their cover and the doorway, before speaking.

"You two get to that hallway, I'll cover you from here and join you in a moment."

The Jedi smiled briefly in satisfaction as his attacks destroyed two of the attacking droids, destroying the scavengers in their entirety. Sadly, it seemed the little droids worked fast, and already he could feel the ship beginning to list and tumble as the damaged engines struggled to carry the heavy vessel. As Knight Arhena’s voice blared over the intercom, Vixur sighted and fired on the last remaining scavenger droid after the pilot’s ramming attempt, hoping to remove that threat completely. “Enroute.”

Vixur ran through the damaged ship, sprinting off the gangway only seconds after his team leader had done the same. The third member of their group, Thrash, seemed to have had gotten herself in another sticky situation, as the four droid guards opened up on her position, the human only barely able to carry her into cover before a dozen blaster bolts slammed into the wall behind the Pantoran. Vixur grimaced, a blaster brawl was something he had experienced often on Nar Shadda, and the Sith wars, and it was not exactly his preferred venue of combat.

Nevertheless, Vixur would join the two other Knights, listening quietly to the human’s plan, before nodding once. “We will see you soon then.” Taking a deep breath, and drawing upon the force, the Clawdite sprinted for the doorway with Force-enhanced speed, relying upon his enhanced reactions to carry himself safely to the portal.

The droids were not the clever kind of droids - they were the kind that did their best to just keep firing until their sensors told them that the problem was gone. This meant that they weren't the brightest when it came to things like blockages that would stop them from firing.

They just tried it anyway.

With the barrels of their weapons bent, the droids would fire and their arms would explode, sending the droids to the ground, weaponless. They would still try and grab at the intruders in a futile effort to stop them but they had no weaponry that was still operational at this stage.

The hallway beyond the first set of blast doors was not, however, a free pass for the Jedi. Instead, they would find that another six of the battledroids were waiting, along with a repeater turret attached to the ceiling. At the first sign of the intruders, all of them would fire, turning the hallway into a deathtrap.
