Prince Sogvold Pelean, one of the nine Princes of Arda and so a rival to Vidar. A quick strike had silenced one of his rivals with a quick strike taking him unaware and making an example of him. And with the Pelean had decided to call him out, to challenge his claim as the leader of Arda, both elected and self appointed. The challenge was simple, three of his best warriors against three of Vidar's. Unlike the Pelean Vidar had stepped forward as one of his own champions, he had also nominated Lord Suss, his second in the Divine Knights and one of the most ferocious fighters he had seen outside of the Brotherhood proper. His final choice was a wild card, a loner Sith Names Talis Javu. He was an unusual pick by Vidar but the man wished to prove himself in the brotherhood and he was someone Vidar did not care if he died. It was a win win for him, if he lost then it was just another potential threat removed, if he won then maybe Vidar had another member he could mold into a future Knight, to reach the fabled 'Glorious Revolution'.

Vidar stepped out of the shuttle, he was wearing his normal black battle armor, a light-saber at his side and a long flowing cape belowing out behind him in the downdraft from the shuttle. Both of his Captains stepped out behind him, Suss and Wei, they were both equipped for battle even though Wei was not fighting. Vidar had taken the potential threat of ambush seriously, he would bring Wei with him to the meeting and there were another three Knights hidden in the shuttle. The remainder of his forces were only a short distance away ready to strike if need be.

The plain before them was on neutral ground not controlled by any Prince but in trust of the government and people of Arda. Vidar was first to arrive, awaiting his enemy, awaiting Pelean.

It was frustrating to be some kind of a tool to this arrogant prince, however Talis did admire Vidar's bold takeover of this planet. Talis hated arrogance but did highly respect courage and held the Prince in a semi-high regard. Little was known about the new and relatively unknown Sith Moff but, Talis intended to not only gain Vidar's respect but, also his apprenticeship and learn more about this mysterious Moff. For now, Talis was to be his disposable warrior of sorts. However, Talis could hardly blame Vidar, distrust among sith was quite common. After all, the Sith are notorious for constantly scheming and killing their fellow sith. Talis had come to Vidar asking for a chance and Talis was given it.....

Talis's train of thought stopped as the ship landed on some plain. Talis watched as Vidar calmly strode out of the shuttle with a strange mixture of calm and paranoia. Vidar's two little lap dogs followed suit behind the Prince. Talis quickly grabbed his light saber and headed out in quick pursuit behind Vidar. Talis always wore his armor and had grown quite accustomed to it. Talis has had seen his own fair share of battle, Vidar would have to be a fool if, he thought Talis could be disposed in this petty skirmish. Talis soon caught up to Vidar and stood to Vidar's right. Talis felt rather grim but also had a renewed sense of resolve. Talis felt no exhilaration or fear, this was just a task that Talis was to complete. Nothing more....nothing less
