Christian stood underneath a planet's surface. He found that very odd but then that was the Sullstans with there intricate love of all techology. Christian had been dropped off by his former padawan as she landed her very pretty ship, but that was 25 mins ago and he was already rather bored by all this.

Was all this subterfuge really necessary? Couldn't he just be told where to go and bobs your uncle rather then going here, there and everywhere.

Oh well...He tapped his foot impatiently....waiting..

"Today will be a good day."

The former Prime Envoy thought quietly to herself.

One could only image the headache, heartache and trouble Gracelyn went through to get to this day. While her personal pilot meticulously maneuvered the ship, Maier's thoughts drifted back to her own mother's return to the Order, Noble's call, and Ghess' return home. All of it lead her to look back upon history, and the very words she's uttered to Orlaan not too long ago....

"...we look back upon history and what do we see?

We see Empires rising and falling, revolutions and counterrevolutions, wealth accumulating and and then disbursed, one nation dominant and then another. Yoda spoke of the “rise and fall of great ones that ebb and flow with the Force.”

In one lifetime I have seen the Alliance ruling over a quarter of the galaxy, the great majority of them convinced, in the words of what is still a favorite guiding phrase, that “the will of the Force will always be the guide.”

I’ve heard a crazed, cracked Sith leader proclaim to the galaxy that the establishment of a Sith Imperium would last for a thousand years; a faceless Chiss clown announce he would restart the calendar to begin with his own assumption of power; a murderous Empress, Andraste, acclaimed by the intellectual elite of the galaxy as wiser than Yoda, more enlightened than Obi Wan, more humane than the former Grandmaster, Sigur Vainikainen.

I’ve seen the Jedi wealthier and in terms of military weaponry more powerful than all the rest of the galaxy put together, so that the New Jedi Order, had they so wished, could have outdone an the Chiss or the Empire in the range and scale of their conquests.

All in one little lifetime. All gone with the wind.

The Chiss now no longer the powerhouse they once stood to be, and threatened with dismemberment and even bankruptcy.

The Mandalorians and the Mandalore dead and remembered only in infamy.

Darth Exodeus,Dark Lord of the Sith, forbidden name in the regime he helped to found and dominate for some decades."

Today, however, unlike the day Maier uttered the above words to Orlaan, Maier knew there was still a chance to fulfill her singular objective as a Jedi. That objective was to be the guardian of peace within the galaxy. It pleased her to know that despite the major set backs and road blocks the Jedi has thus far faced, there still able men and women willing to aide with that cause. Women like her mother Jacquelyn P. Maier- who once upon a time was only concerned about entertaining her fellow aristocrats on Kaal. Men like Christian Noble, whether one believes it or not, and Orlaan Ghess- Maier's apprentince/son; both of whom were now sitting by Gracelyn's side as they awaited the her ship to dock on Sullust.

As soon as the ship docked, Maier placed Orlaan in charge of entertaining Noble while she looked for Grandmaster Daw's current location. Knowing Noble, anything could happen. Besides his old age, the man had an eccentric side that could easily cause unnecessarily attention to the group. For this reason Maier made sure Orlaan knew what Noble was capable of.

Merely minutes after landing, Gracelyn made contact with the Grandmaster Daw. It turns out Daw was on her way to meet Maier and her team. Upon rounding up to the corner where Noble and Orlaan was supposed to be, Maier only saw Noble. Ordinarily Gracelyn wouldn't be concerned, however, Orlaan was not in sight and Christian was looking rather bored and impatient all the while, tapping his feet. Rather loud too.

Quickly picking up her pace, the 40 something year old former Prime Envoy walked up to her master and then quarried-

"Please tell me you did not send Orlaan on a fool's errand"

Meanwhile, Maier sent a quick message on her electronic device to Orlaan inquiring about his current location.

"Nah, just chillin'." Orlaan called out from the wall he had been leaning against; apparently the Shadows had improves his general sneakiness. "How's it going Moma-Bear? What we doing here?" Orlaan had already said his hello's to Christian; the man had seemed a little distracted, but Orlaan did not mind that. He had not been on Sullust for long, and he did not know what to make of the planet. This was his first visit, and also - coincidentally - the longest period he had gone in years without being on official Jedi business of some sorts.

"Your lazy nature is definitely rubbing off on me at long last, Gracelyn." Orlaan stretched and pushed himself away from the wall. "Took your time."

"I am pretty sure I was almost shaken off a few times, but I managed to keep up. Where you been?" He had a lot waiting for him on his plate back with the Order, and if he was honest, he was kinda of eager to get to it. He had to go train with Juno, train Sogar... train... work... train. Perhaps her languid nature was not impacting him as much as he had thought.

The hover train sped along its course though the tunnels of the Sullustian cities. Sullustans mixed with an array of other common species like Twi'leks and Humans crowded on the train as they were propelled to their destinations. One particular Human blended into the crowd, her smuggler attired was not blinked at twice as she gripped the hand rail to prevent herself from losing balance. Though then again, this human knew how to keep anyone from batting any eyes at her.

The lights from the city blinked through the windows, reflecting off the metal buckles of her nerf-leather jacket. Two soft musical tones alerted the passengers of an upcoming stop, one that this human needed to get off of. She had some people to meet, one in which she had not seen in ages, nor expected to see until the afterlife. It was a busy stop, as patrons flowed off the hover train into the station and so did this particular smuggler. She adjusted her jacket, feeling her lightsaber hidden underneath as she took to the stair, climbing to the sidewalks of the city.

Her comm blinked, alerting her she was running just a tad behind, but didn't fret about time, a Jedi was patient, rushing into things, anything really was a rash idea. But for her it wouldn't stop her on several occasions through her life, as Ebberla Daw always looked forward to a good challenge.

She moved through the alleyways, passing vagrants and street patrons, quickly closing in on the rendezvous point in which Gracelyn and Orlaan had informed her. Her senses flared, the gentle tendrils of the Force snaked out from the Grand Master reaching to those who she was looking for, she felt eagerness, impatience, calm, everyone was there except for her.

Clsoing in, she smiled, Gracelyn and the others well within her sight as she slowed her paced, placing her fists on her hips.

"Well isn't this a charming surprise." The Corellian spoke, her attention directed to Master Noble, "Did Gracelyn tell you everything we did that was probably so un-Jedi like, it would make the most honorable Jedi spin in their graves, Master Christian Noble."
