Ord Mantell
Midnight

The night had created what seemed to be a peaceful site, a city where very lights were on and only a few people still were awake. The stars actually were able to illuminate the sky. Something that Jedrek hadn't seen since his days in Wayland. Sitting on a hill over looking the city Jedrek was taking a moment for a peace he has rarely gotten. The stars providing a soft light that was easy on his eyes. It reminded him that sometimes the galaxy was actually full of wonder rather then pain. Sure his goal in life is a return to a state where the galaxy allowed all to flourish that deserve it but it somewhat clouded his sight on the greater galaxy. What was it like before the Sith got into power? Was it like they said chaotic and uncertain. Or was there actually some joy in a galaxy not ruled by the Sith?

The time though was fast approaching that he needed to head out, in this town there was a woman that has cried out for help and he came to answer. Not out of the goodness of his heart but rather since he knew this woman wanted whoever to help her to fight against Sith of the Imperial Republica. It was a simply task but one he was very interested in. This civil war meant that he got plenty of chances to test out the power him and his sister had. The Force was such a strange thing it made one wonder what was it purpose and how did it came to be. There were many classes that detailed the inner workings of the Force but those were boring to him. It allowed him to punch harder, to grab people with his mind and channel rage and fear to feed his strength. But also at the cost of losing ones mind.

A curse he wasn't fully understanding until he was several months into training as a acolyte. It was a interesting thing that a invisible force could have such a affect on the mind, radiation had similar affects in decaying a body. But the Force was supposedly not a metaphysical thing. Yet it had clear physical aspects. A miracle that few had a connection to and those who did rarely found themselves living a happy life it seemed. But then again this galaxy wasn't a happy place.

Getting up the Sith brushed off the bits of grass that got on his dark cloak, his Sith armor on and his helmet covered by the hood, a black tunic was under the cloak and his two lightsabers hidden on his back. Keeping the cloak around his body he was almost a shadow within the dark night rather then a person. Jedrek's footsteps soft and quiet as he slowly went down the hill into the sleepy town. His task just about to begin.

The tavern smelled of sour booze and unkempt bodies, an odorous mixture that hung in the air unfavorably to a slight few of the patrons. For most, the smell was either barely noticeable or all together absent. If one could cast away the stench, the verbal assault bellowing from a lot of space farers, pirates or smugglers perhaps, sought to entwine itself to the tavern; making the whole scene lewd and obnoxious to a patient mind. It was rather fortunate that Ragna not only possessed a patient mind, but was unbothered by the smells. In a way, the smells reminded her of home, where the gathered clans on Hoth would set campfires ablaze using tauntaun feces as the main ignitor; dancing about like berserkers flinging their own smells from unkempt bodies.

Smirking briefly at the thought, she chased those memories with one final pull of her one-time frosty mug. She had haunted establishments such as this before, but no matter how many times she indulged in rounds of drinking; the idea of drinking from glass never settled properly with her. Many a full moon she wondered how other patrons would react if she simply poured the glassed contents into a wampa or tauntaun horn, drinking it down like a proper warrior.

Sighing secretly to herself, she wished she had the time to toss back a few more rounds, perhaps even joining in the merry tunes, but there was business to be conducted. Business before pleasure that ancient mantra went. Ragna detached herself from her table, exited the tavern, and took a long intake of breath. The fresh air was good, but the darkness of the witching hour that loomed about added to the night a positive effect. What it was, she couldn't place. Maybe, just maybe, it had something to do with the person she was meeting. Normally she didn't deal with Force users, not because of the mysterious antics that surrounded them like coffin flies, but because most either fell into one of three categories; cryptic, holistic, or simply annoying to be around.

Casually she walked through the old village, the sounds of the tavern behind her slowly fading away into extinction.

The sound of merry times in a nearby Tavern brought a smile to Jedrek's face. Which remained hidden behind his mask. Sometimes he found his thoughts drifting into such places wondering what life would have been like if he and his sister been born normal. Without the gift of a unexplained power that caused more pain then any other reason he knew of. But tonight he not the time or the patience's to deal with such leisure. Now he needed to go meet his contact and the other who accepted his old ladies cries for help. It was strange but pretending to be just a concern citizen felt right. But these emotions weren't what fueled his power or at least that is what he had been taught for the past 6 years.

With the streets empty there were few out that would look like the person who had come to assist in the task. Wondering towards the home of the client, Jedrek kept most of his being hidden under his cloak allowing the shadow of his hood and the dark night to hide most of his helmet. Though any one with close inspection would notice it. Sure that his looks wouldn't cause to much of a steer he continue to look around only to find a strange looking woman wondering the streets. Carrying a large rifle and axe on her. So either she was a wondering barbarian or the person to help him with his task this night.

Wondering up to her with his dark cloak tightly around him, Jedrek almost giggled, thinking of how ridiculous he most look currently. Trying his best to not let his mood reveal that he was actually joking when he spoke to the woman. It was surprisingly harder then it seemed to act serious when you knew you were being ridiculous.

"Ma'am would you happen to be looking for someone." Jedrek's arms were to his side under the cloak ready to reach for his blades, as he stood around 10 feet away from this lady.

Which had a strange intensity about her, that was quiet appealing but the Sith knew better to judge people by looks. Or better yet, determine how to feel about someone simply by how they look. Some are snakes in sheeps clothing others are snakes disguise as the very thing you want. But for now he waited to see how she respond.
