Currently, my Jedi Padawan is without a ship and therefore cannot travel. I would ask to travel with someone, but then I'd be unable to join threads without them and be limited to what they do. Anyone have any other options for me? Or have I screwed myself over?

Also apologies if this shouldn't be here, I ism know if this went in Jedi OOC or general OOC

You're able to travel. My characters don't have ships listed, but the RP operates on the assumption that there is public transport/look the other way if you're stuck on a remote planet. You can just move around as you please. Ships add flavor and give you something to write space pvp with should you be into that.

It would be so inconvenient if every person had to have their own ship...this isn't like SWTOR, after all. Some allowances have to be made for the sake of making the game playable.

Lol, yeah, thats true. its just in most tabletops I've played our gm makes it a requirement that we start out with a car/horse/ship unless we're in a crew already or some other reason.

A freeform text RPG isn't exactly a tabletop game either...we don't have combat rolls or any of the weird mechanics that tabletop RPGs tend to.
