Hey my fellow Jedi buddies! So, I think the Jedi FL and Council members are still building and writing the official Jedi missions and thus in lieu of the official missions I thought I would run an idea I had by you guys to see if you would be interested!
Basically, a group of Jedi (3 or 4) would be in the middle of an envoy assignment on the sovereign world of Sharlissia (in the Trailing Sectors), and during this assignment there are several terrorist attacks (explosions!) launched on the capital city of Nova Esperium by a fanatical religious cult known as 'The Hidden Hand' . This cult will also be uncovered as having abducted numerous civilians and having made assassination attempts on high-officials of the planet. Their intentions at the moment will remain a secret and shall be divulged during the progress of the rp.
Anyway, since the group of Jedi are already on-world, and due to the highly sensitive nature of this menace, the monarch of Sharlissia will request that the Jedi investigate the matter and develop solution strategies to quell the threat. Essentially, through the rp we'll uncover that the cultists are operating out of an old temple in the eastern outskirts of the capital city. We shall track them there and root out the evil. Aggressive negotiations are sure to ensue!
I will be leading the Jedi team with my char Sorran, so if 2 or 3 other people with Jedi are interested in this story and where it may lead then please let me know! I'll also need a writer to NPC the cultists and their leader. The risk level will most likely depend on the skill of the person NPCing.
So once I have a solid group and numbers I'll do the initial write up! Should be lots of fun and good experience.
