Hi! I'm a new member and I had a question about the state of Raxus Prime. I understand that in Legends, a long time after the current in-game year, Raxus Prime is a waste planet, polluted by countless years of garbage, industrial waste and wars, but since this is before that time would Raxus Prime still be habitable? or would it still be polluted? or perhaps it's industrial revolution is just beginning? Any help on clearing my question up would be much appreciated!
Thanks!

No one has really set the tone for it yet as far as I know. Usually if new Canon has no info we follow legends and if legends doesn't have much we do a write up/go with what we got

Okay awesome thanks!

Oh also not sure if you can also answer this but what about Hutt Space? are they a big player in the galaxy of today? or is their operation a small one? Or maybe have they yet to come to power?

Kind of the same answer. A lot of groups have done rp but no one has really claimed Hutt space yet but there may be a battle there soon. I'd say it's about the same as you might expect without the big criminal empire bit.

By this time in the legends canon, Raxus Prime was already, for the most part, the junk world that we saw later on. So it would probably be best to assume it's a junk world right now as well.

Personally I'd like to see Raxus Prime in an inbetween point, where it's just starting its focus as a junkworld. An official write up would be nice in this regard.

Personally I'd just like to see planets pretty much exactly the way we know/think of them to be and not have people doing write-ups on canon planets unless there's just no information whatsoever about them

but meh

We don't really have information of it in canon though, all we have to go on for it is legends material. Technically it's an entirely legends planet.

I like the idea of an in between state for Raxus Prime it would add a new world of imagination for whoever wants to RP on that particular planet. Perhaps it still holds life even though it is just now beginning it's life as a junk world. It would be really cool to see the next level of creative imagination on a planet we already know about, but I'm sure it wasn't always like the planet we already know of. It'd be pretty neat to see what someone comes up with. Like seeing the desolation of a once beautiful world by the industrial waste of garbage of other systems.

Raxus Prime in the old legends canon still had life on it, just in enclosed habitats.

Also.

We don't really have information of it in canon though, all we have to go on for it is legends material. Technically it's an entirely legends planet.

You know just as well as I do that when saying "canon" here regarding planets specifically that includes old Legends canon planets. As opposed to completely fanon planets.

And we have a fair amount of information for it from legends, that while original history-wise doesn't mean anything, I think it'd be best to just go with it as we already know it to be in terms of actual geographic status and what-not so that we don't have people having to go around and read whichever yahoo's planet write-up so that they know exactly what the state of the planet is going to be according to what a small group of people think it should be. And regarding Raxus Prime, at this point in time in the old canon, it had already been the site of a war or two and was already pretty much completely dominated by various industrial factories and being used as a junkyard. Maybe not quite as bad as we see it 1000 years later, but it was already there.

And there's no good reason to assume it wouldn't be in the site's new canon, either, given that the broad strokes of history minus the minute details are still basically the same on a galactic scale.

By which I mean this galaxy has been wracked with war for ages because #TehForce.
