Well, after reading Red Harvest and Death Troopers, I have had inspiration to do an un-dead SW roleplay.

I'm not totally unprepared though! I have a premise! :CSly


It is as follows;

Darksaber isn't the only project Tusa the Hutt has kept out of the public eye.

In a remote, and unknown system located in the Outer Rim, a Hutt space station floats ominously against the black backdrop of space. In official Imperial records, the station is nothing more than a POW prison. A place for Republic and Jedi scum that were unfortunate enough to be captured by the Hutts in battle.

However....this station is something far more sinister than it appears. Secretly, Tusa has hired the top scientists and doctors in Hutt space to engineer a biological weapon that would allow him to unleash devastation the likes of which hasn't been seen before on the Republic. The inmates are meant to be used as test subjects. There's just one problem....something goes wrong. Terribly wrong.

The test subjects react strangely to the virus they are injected with. They display signs of fever, cold sweats, vomiting, and, eventually, death. Not only that, but the virus is highly contagious. Despite measures to prevent transmission, it spreads and within days half of the station is infected. The medical staff on board seem incapable of halting the spread of the deadly virus. After a week, it is all over. Everyone on the station is dead. Communications between the station and the Empire fall eerily silent.

Two weeks later, the prison ship, Stalker, has arrived at the station, carrying several highly trained soldiers, mercenaries, and new inmates for the station. They try hailing the station to notify them of their approach, but all they get is static, even though the comm channel appears to be open.

Keeping to their mission, though, the ship docks in the hanger bay. The crew and inmates grow cautious, as things on board are quiet. Far too quiet. The events that transpire next are up to you...

That is our premise.

Characters that can be involved are basically anyone.

Hutts, Mercenaries, Mandalorians and Hutt soldiers will serve as the main group we want.

Bogan are also welcome, but only one or two; it'd kill the RP to have too many lightsaber wielders among us.

If you sign-up and are with the Jedi or the Republic, you have to start out as an inmate on the ship, but can escape later if you so choose, and given you have the resources and means to do so.

Specifically, if you sign up as a Jedi, you cannot start out with your lightsaber. That wouldn't make sense, the Hutts would've taken it from you. You can, however, retrieve it from the storage room on the barge shortly after the RP has started and the need for weapons is apparent.

The RP will start out as the prison ship is making is approach to the station and go from there.

I will need at least one person, who is not signing up as a character, to RP impartially as the zombies. If no one wants to do this, I will do it myself. This person will act like the "game master" and will move the plot along, but will not take sides or attack one or two people while leaving the others alone. Hence the "impartial" part.

This person will also NPC any prisoners that are not PC characters.

Remember that some characters can and should be killed if they are backed into a corner with no other means to escape.

This is not to kill the fun, but rather to make the RP more suspensefull and a lot more fun.

I thought this might be a great RP to kick off the Second Hutt Wars for those of us not in the immediate first battles that will take place. It gives us something to do.

Also, as you may have noticed, this RP will be Open to about 3-5 people, with 5 being the absolute limit. Each person can only sign up a maximum of two characters.

Not sure how successful this'll turn out. I tried a zombie RP called "For a Blue and Pure World" and it wasn't too active. I think only 2 others joined me.

Also, I can flesh out the virus'es backstory if there's interest in uncovering instead of survival. Tusa's got a lot of research coming along with biotech through third parties, and research he's done on his own, so we can think of an interesting plot I'm sure.

I could agree to this. I want there to be some investigation as to the origins of the virus. Of course there will be some survival involved, but what you're proposing sounds interesting.

Its already been established that the Tusa had Hutt doctors and scientists engineer the virus, though next to no one knows that beyond his most trusted allies.

If I get my main guy finished in the next two weeks, i'd gladly throw him in. Or my jedi.

I don't mind you NPCing. Why don't you PM/VM Santoro and see if there is anything you can do to help him NPC. That way we can have two NPCers if it all works out.

I'm still working out a little story to bring you guys through, so it'll be a couple days- I don't think that'll be a problem Constantine. Even if we start early you could surely be a sole survivor or something.
