Adonia did not get the joke, at first, but then she realized that Master Makara was trying to get Traven to lighten up. "Well he's quite the charmer." She added as she laughed. Adonia thought on Master Makara's question for a second. She really could not complain, she was getting exactly what she put into it, which was her life. "It has been going very well, I train hard everyday, and I meditate during the night."

"I don't enjoy pain, but I'm not afraid of it either, sometimes you get hurt, the hard part is getting back up." Adonia paused to get Matsu's outlook on the subject, it would be interesting to hear, as she was the main cause of most of Adonia's injuries.

Adonia noticed another Jedi make his way into the mess hall, even at this late hour this was not out of the ordinary, what was on the peculiar side was the fact that he seemed annoyed, like someone who was late for a training session, but the one thing that stood out the most was that he seemed lost, which was rare as the Temple was not difficult to navigate. Adonia's peculiar nature took over, she would try to help him, if help was what he was after. "Master Jedi, is there a problem with which I can assist you?"

Matsu looked at the jedi knight as he spoke and she listened to Adonia as she nodded speaking but turning her head to see who Adonia was talking too. "The pain is to teach, when I was little I learned how to keep my balance and ignore the weather because my adopted mother and father taught me. I guess it just is ingrained in me."

The figure did not look up from his table at the question. He didn't understand why Jedi seemed so inquisitive...but then again, these were strange times. It was important the members of the Order remain unified, he supposed. His hand moved slightly beneath the table in a slow wave...he doubted the woman would notice.

'I am fine,' he said, his voice slow and deliberate, each word amplified with the Force to sway the young woman's mind. 'I look thirsty, it would be polite to get me a drink.'

He hoped it would distract the woman enough soas not to arouse suspicion - her mind would be focused on getting him the requested drink. There was the off chance she would resist the manipulation, though it seemed a reasonable enough request even without the workings of the Force. Either way, in such a friendly and relaxed environment, he doubted she would be warding her mind against such manipulations half as well as she was probably capable of. In the mean time, he could spend a few precious moments regathering his thoughts and centering himself. It would be enough.
