OoC: Open to members of the GA only. When enough members show up, the GM will speak, feel free to mingle, anyone who becomes disruptive will be removed by personnel.

Immediately after the meeting had ended with the Manda'lor she had hailed her generals and commanders and it was on her way to Jedha did the Manda'lor announced his declaration of war against the Galactic Alliance and specifically the Jedi Order, vowing to destroy everything anyone that stood in their path of their galactic crusade. She had replayed the vision several times over, trying to see if she missed something but there was only darkness and the cold that suffocated the Light that held on. She could still see the Mandalor standing in his victory and if Arda tried to move further into the vision, there was nothing else.

Her teachings have warned of the accuracy of such occurrences, but she couldn't help for her curiosity to question what she felt, what she observed, all in the presence of of the Manda'lor. It was disheartening that as far as the galaxy had come in recent years, it felt as though they turned back to the very beginning.

However, Arda knew better to give into the despair and fear the Mandalorians wished to spread.

The dark side found its new savior, the Mandalorians, to champion them a galaxy for the taking. The Alliance did this once before, in fact they had the lessons of five centuries of those who fought and died for what was right. If it would take them another five centuries she would see to that. They were stronger than what the Mandalorians wanted them and the rest of the galaxy would believe.

She could feel the uneasiness when she arrived on Jedha, even though she felt ready for the battle, convincing the GA might be another battle to champion. But the Grandmaster had faith in their courage, their resolve, their war had never really gone away, it has only taken a new face.

And so, Arda waited for others to gather in the conference room of the Alliance base, the glowing orb of Jedha reflected from the holo projector in the middle of the room. She would speak when enough had arrived.

Just like the last time when Davis had hurried to Jedha from the Rebel Fleet he was still dressed in his pilot's uniform when he arrived in the conference room. His hair was damp with sweat and imprinted with the helmet he had left behind at the hangar. His eyes bulged as they scoured the area looking for a face that could explain all of this to him.

He didn't see anyone who'd know. Ofcourse he didn't. Aside from Commander Ion all they'd done was fight pirates for as long as Davis had been a rebel. He..a pirate.. commissioned to fight pirates like some credit-hungry turncloak spacing people for a planet's militia. No he wasn't even paid according to the mercenary work he'd done. He was paid as a volunteer to fight the Empire...a volunteer who now had to fight former allies and why? "Why?" He understood being disappointed in the Jedi Order who were just a bunch of hypocrites, but the greater Galactic Alliance? The Mand'Alor all but rallied all non-jedi members of the alliance under his banner. It was like they could choose between becoming a Mandalorian or a security officer on one of the independent former protectorate worlds like Tirahnn, Zeltros and Commenor.

For Davis, who saw no existential need for the Galactic Alliance to exist if the rumors of a new Republic on former Protectorate worlds was true, the answers of the Jedi Grand Master would determine his loyalty.

Kyi was in his quarters when he had heard the news, that the Mandalorians were declaring war on the Galactic Alliance and in-turn, the Jedi Order. The Knight wasn't thrilled at having another enemy to look out for and Mandalorians at that, seeing as he had developed a fear of them. He heard news that the Grandmaster Arda Breaux was en route back to Jedha which made him feel slightly at ease, having some sort of game plan or even just a statement from the leader of the Jedi Order was comforting. The Jedi Knight changed out of his pyjamas and into his black Jedi Robes and made his way to the conference room in preparation for the Grandmaster's arrival.

On his way there, Kyi began thinking about the changing role of the Jedi. Kyi knew that in the past Jedi were peacekeepers but nowadays they were more akin to warriors - which, he didn't exactly mind, since it was the only life he had ever really known and sometimes, periods like this call for Jedi to act as warriors but he wondered if they'd ever return to their status as peacekeepers with all that was going on right now, with the collapse of the Empire and the potential formation of a new Galactic Republic, Kyi had a modicum of hope that the war was close to ending but after this; he was beginning to feel like this war would never end. Nonetheless, he was prepared to do his duty and defend the innocent from any harm - he was a Jedi Knight after all.

Finally arriving at the conference room he spotted a Rebel already waiting, he recognised the man's face, he was on Jedha before - during the controversial return of Jedi Master Alysanne Drast. Kyi approached the man and sensed his uneasiness through the Force, "You okay?" he simply asked.

Davis turned to the Jedi (@AfroBandit20) and looked at him in the way a scorned nun would look at the young beauty, "Tsk!-" his frustration was apparent and not just because it was a Jedi and not a fellow rebel who approached him. "-ofcourse I'm not okay! Your Grand Master-" he was clearly already distancing himself from the Mandalorian's new targets. "-where was she? Why are we meeting here instead of mobilizing the fleet!?"

For all he knew the Mandalorian fleet was already on course to its last know location. They had been allies and contact between the two factions had been frequent, thus Davis was 80 percent certain they knew the location of the Rebel's only real chip in this war. Holding a conclave anywhere other than on a fleet travelling in hyperspeed was madness in the pirate's eyes.

Davis used the fingers on his right hand to comb his damp hair backwards and looked around passed the Jedi, looking for anyone who'd be in the know. Generals, Jedi Masters... the Grand Master.

Tycho and Ashlynna were just passing through the market to get to a location that Tycho wanted to show his companion. When news came about the Mandalorians. Having swiftly paid the shopkeeper for a couple of high value trinkets the two spotted on the booth table. Tycho decided that the pleasant trip should be brought to a brief halt in order to attend the meeting. So the General lead the way to the location of where everyone who wishes to attend will be heading too. That is if Ashlynna wished to attend or go on exploring the Holy City.

Whether she decided to attend or not was up to her. But for Tycho there was no choice on the matter. He had to attend. Besides this may be one of those meetings that will bring to light what the future fate of the Galactic Alliance as well as the Jedi Order will be.

The General has no idea what had happened that suddenly turned the Mandalorians into an enemy. He is sure that it has something to do with the capital ship that one or two, he does not remember if both were Mandalorian, of them managed to steal. Running his hand through his hair as he stepped into the conference room the General noted how so few have gathered so far.

Hopefully no one has chosen to defect already.

As he made his way over to the Grandmaster his thoughts did stray a bit. None however were about leaving the Alliance, he had been here pretty much since the beginning. There is no way he will quit now. What was playing through his mind as he approached the Jedi Master? The safety of those closest to him. Particularly Ashlynna and Calath. The topic of his thoughts betraying him as he gripped the Kyber Crystal in his pocket, Ashlynna having the other one. If the Mandalorians truly are enemies now. There will be one main target they will have.

"What the hell made the Mandalorians snap this time?" He asked the Jedi Master when he was close enough to Arda. This is nothing like when the Mandalorians called off their Alliance with the GA. The General crossed his arms as he looked around the room, "What is your plan to deal with this threat?" The man has a few ideas of his own but of course he will most likely have to run them past Arda first.

Kyi didn't need to be Force-sensitive to realise that the Rebel was frustrated, he didn't blame him to be honest - everything that was happening right now was a mess but if he could calm the frustrated Rebel down or at least put his mind at ease, he'd give it a shot. Kyi interlocked his fingers together and placed them in front of his body, "I-I don't know." he stuttered, he didn't exactly have an answer to the first question, this entire situation was completely left field, everyone was just as confused as he was probably. In an attempt to empathise with the Rebel he continued his response "I know...it's hard to trust us...the Jedi." Kyi knew that non-Jedi had trouble understanding the Force and the Jedi overall - which created a mistrust between the two peoples, continuing his sentence "But please stay calm, I have faith that Grand Master Breaux will have the answers we all seek." he hoped he was right and that the Grand Master did have some sort of plan.

He watched as another Rebel (@Nommie) entered the conference room, this one seemed to be more level-headed than the other but he sensed the Rebel's confusion in all of this as well - he addressed the Grand Master directly regarding how she planned to deal with all this, Kyi admired the boldness of the Rebel to speak to her so directly, Kyi wasn't close enough to her nor important enough in the Jedi Order to even speak to her like that. He watched the other Rebel and Arda closely, to see if she'd give him an answer.

Arriving soon after Draykon was his fellow General Hugo Ion. Wearing a brown spacer outfit the old Duros accompanied by his Rodian wife Shii entered the room. Glancing around he can already see the confusion and fear among others about recent events. Nodding in understanding Hugo placed himself close by the wall on the right hand side.

Shii stood next to him with both arms crossed over the shoulder, watching the proceedings. She whispered to her lover. “I wonder what kind of explanation the Commander will have. Have any ideas?”

“Have some thoughts but I rather listen to what she has to say before making an open opinion. For the record I’m not abandoning the Jedi not after all the sacrifices we made together.”

He whispered back before looking toward Grandmaster Breaux, awaiting her answer to the many questions already being asked of her inside this assembly. Considering his few interactions with Leandros, the current Manda’lor Hugo wasn’t exactly surprised the man hated force users in general or anyone without beskar for that matter

Still he hadn’t counted on the warlord making this move while the Sith still remain. Arda’s earlier holo message gave some insight but it would be best to hear the full explanation in person.

Ash wasn't a fan of meetings. In fact she hated them, because half the time it was just a middle point to addressing an issue. This was different though. Looking at everyone that was gathering, this was more of a conference than a meeting, which technically made it worse than a meeting, because they had to talk about talking about addressing the issue; but that didn't mean this gathering was any less important to her. Her hand fumbled with the other crystal she had been given by Tycho, knowing just was at stake now that they had to confront the Mandalorians. Tycho had that clutched jaw expression he always put on when he was deep in thought, and she knew that their minds were worrying over the same dilemma.

There was no emotion, only the force. Ayasha had told her that many years ago, and yet there was concern swelling within her gut. She never cared for Mandalorians, found them rather brutish and repulsive, but this was another level of dislike they had reached. The Sith had fallen, and now the Mandalorians erupted like a parasite bursting from the chest of its host. She was quiet up til this point, which to those that knew her, that wasn't normal. After hearing Hugo speak, Ash finally spoke up. "They are going to come for us. We either flee and go into hiding like we did before, or meet them in battle. Either way, lives will be lost. Jedi defend the innocent, we have always been protectors. I don't see why we should stop now. If the Mandalorians want to replace the Sith as war mongers, we will need to face them. Unfortunately, our forces at current are...insufficient for the chance to win a war. I think the attack on Mandalore has incensed it's new leader." The thoughts of trying to back a usper crossed Ash's mind, but she knew all to well from her past experiences that replacing on war lord with another usually only worsened the situation. She tapped her lip with her spare hand, conflicted on what the best choice would be. Finding allies would be the best bet, but who? So many people were scared of the Mandalorians, would they side with a loose cell? Most people might not even be aware of what the Mandalorians were capable of, and probably wouldn't until it was too late. Ash went back to being silent, listening to what others had to say. She hadn't always agreed with the grandmaster, but not now wasn't the time to bring these issues up. They were here for a common purpose here and now, such petty things could be said elsewhere.

Zex Vric arrived right after Hugo Ion, the Nautolan was just taking a break on Ithor when the news came, when the new Mandalore declared war on them, the Nautolan didn't find it hard to believe, the mandalorians were always violent and had such hatred for the force sensitives it was only a matter of time, however, he didn't expect them to attack so soon, when sith were still around and kicking.

The Nautolan nodded in agreement to what Ion said, since he too wasn't going to just let the jedi die, and then listened to what Ashlyna had to say, forming his own opinion on the matter "I think you have a bigger chance if you fight. The Mandalorians are expert force sensitive hunters right? They were the ones that almost drove you to extinction under the leadership of the sith, they hunted you down and left you on a very bad spot when you first tried to hide yourselves from the Galaxy." Zex explained, crossing his arms before continuing "And with their current strength and desire to kill every single one of you after what happened on Mandalore? chances are, if you don't fight, you guys would be very lucky if you survived for another five hundred years" Zex paused briefly, looking at the other rebels in the room, those that he knew were most loyal, like the two generals "However, another thing has changed, you don't have to fight on your own like you did five hundred years ago, we are also here and, while I expect many rebels to leave since they signed up to fight the empire and don't think this fight is theirs, you are not alone!"

"When I joined the GA years ago, it was as just a rebel. Ever since I've learned what it means to be a Jedi, or at least the start. It's a long road. What has never changed is my desire to bring peace and stability to the galaxy." Omnis decided to speak up and share his views with the assembled, giving the Grandmaster a nod of support. He pat his friend Commander Ion on the shoulder, thankful the man would at least hear them out. It took a certain amount of wisdom to be an effective leader, after all. He knew that the non Force Sensitive rebels were nervous about the new declaration, perhaps that was one of the goals of the Mandalorians with their broadcast. The young man had to do what he could to hep keep their group together.

"I know the fight ahead, and I won't be naive to think there won't be one, will be even more difficult with this new foe. But if we gave up when the prospects of success were so low, then the GA wouldn't have ever gotten even this strong, forced to into obscurity and destruction. I think the Mandalorians are trying to tear us apart, make us both weaker for our division and then take us out individually. Divide and conquer, an age-old tactic. I won't presume to tell others what to do, they should follow their own hearts. All I can say is that I won't give up doing what I believe is right. If you'll have me, I'll keep fighting until the galaxy is one that any can live in without fear of what tomorrow could bring." Omnis gave a big smile and a thumbs up, a light suddenly sparking brighter causing his teeth to glint in a moment of perfect timing. It seems some things ran in the family after all.

Gil stuck the fringes of the room as people gathered. He wasn't exactly sure why he was here. He was the furthest thing from a Jedi, and it made little business sense to bet on a side that was likely going to lose but he remained. Arda had been a close friend for many years, but there was something else that made him stick around. It wasn't something he could really put a finger on, it just seemed like the right thing to do. He had always been a sucker for the underdog, maybe because he had spent much of his life being one.

He pulled a flask from a jacket pocket and held it up to his mouth. He didn't need the force to feel the tension in the room, it would appear others could use a bit of liquid distraction to ease things over. He leaned against wall, slipping the flask back in a pocket before lighting a cigarra. He breathed out a small puff of smoke as he scanned the room again.

Gil wasn't sure what to expect, but Arda had invited him so he had shown up.

Stepping into the darkened conference room, the ashen haired Jedi Master silently moved around the outer periphery of the gathered members of Jedi and Galactic Alliance of various ranks and levels of experience and skills. Her bright emerald eyes panning over the faces of those who had gathered, recognising many of those gathered by the dull blue light of the holo projector illuminating their facial features, a fair few were her fellow pilots within Star Squadron, others were members of the higher levels of command within the Alliance, Generals and commanders alike - and in the centre of it all was the Grand Master, Arda Breaux.

As she moved through the gathered group, mustered within the dark conference room. The environment was rife with the stale air of tension, and words of the war opening up on another front. The Mandalorian's recent declaration of war against the Jedi as part of their on going crusade to rut horns with the next biggest beast, whether it was just part of the warrior culture's drive towards evolution and strengthening themselves by taking on the next biggest threat their eyes could be set upon. Or just the natural conclusion to their decade long campaign to regain power and assert their dominance over the Galaxy.

Whilst many of those within the mustered crowd spoke about either; going on the back foot and mobilising to put some distance between the coming storm, standing in unison as they had done against the Empire in the face of the newest threat that sought to bring war to the galaxy. There was the shared sentiment that the latest threat to the Galactic Alliance, well more predominantly to the Jedi who were specifically being declared as targets of the Mandalorian's latest cruisade, was part of one the more base of tactics, to cause division within the ranks of the rebellion, so that the Mandalorians can take advantage to separate out and hunt the Jedi. A light grin curled on the Master's lips as she heard the young Padawan air that sentiment, voicing that he like so many of the Jedi would still stand to fight for what they felt was right, to bring about a new day that anyone could wake up without fear for what the coming day would bring. The Padawan's encouraging words being enhanced by a broad reassuring smile and thumbs up that seemed in that moment to be perfected by the brief reflection of light from his teeth, if there was ever a need for a poster boy moment Omnis would have timed it perfectly.

Finding a vacant space along the upper railings of the surrounding walk way, the ashen haired master pursed her lips in thought as she leaned her body against the balustrade. Her mind running over the possible eventualities that the coming war would bring for a brief moment, before thinking back to her earlier discussions with the Grand Master. She had a fair understanding and awareness of what Arda was going to discuss with those gathered, but as to how the reaction would play out on the other hand, well that was a matter for time to tell.

The conference hall filled up quickly and a part of Arda wished they were here for good news, to tell them the war was official over. It was in some way though, the Sith Empire had collapsed, their territories were now free to form their own government or fall into the hands of warlords, crime bosses, or the Hutts. It was far from ideal, but they would not be as large of a threat as their newest proclaimed enemy, but this was not a war for everyone here; there many non-Force sensitives as there were Jedi present and though death was not wished upon half who were present (as long as they submitted to the Manda'lor) then they would not be harmed, a chance to live under an new regime controlled either by the newly formed Republic or Mandalorians, or safely in the outer rim, away from the mess inside the core.

One arm had folded across her chest and her other hand hooked a finger under her chin as her thoughts slowly turned matching the slow turning Jedha on the holo-projector. She reached down and pressed a button the switched off the holo-projector and the room grew silent.

"Thank you for coming, Rebels and Jedi." her tone was somber, but stern, "I wish I had brought you here to give finality to a war we had been fighting for centuries, to tell you we have successfully resisted the oppression of Empires," she paused, her head slowly turned to look at everyone in the room, "In a way we have, we have come to a day where the Empire has collapsed, and now a Republic is forming in which democracy can once more by reigned by the people and not by dynasties. Therefore, one would believe the Galactic Alliance has served its purpose."

Arda took in a deep breath, "The Mandalorians have declared war on the Jedi as many, if not all you have seen on the holonet. As Jedi, we will always be faced with a level of hardship, and at times, those hardships may be at drastic costs to ensure the corruption of the dark side will always touch the hearts of men. No one is immune to the Force, if you believe in it or not, whether you call it the Force or not, we are all connected through life and death, hatred and love, light and darkness, no one is immune to the consequences of another's action. The Mandalorians have made it clear that no Force sensitive will be able to live in this galaxy any longer, think of what action they will take, think of the consequences that will engulf this galaxy." The grandmaster paused and then continued.

"Many of you are probably asking, what happened? Why are they doing this?" Arda glanced around and she shook her head subtly, pursing her lips together, feeling the despair from her Rebels and Jedi to see possible allies turn against them. "Some of you may have remembered the Alliance and the Mandos had worked together years ago and even that agreement was shaky, as we saw they parted from the Alliance shortly after. They have always been wary of Jedi and believed anyone who trusts Force users, should be distrusted in their eyes also. He came to tell me we, the Alliance, were not worth his time. He is a man surrounded with grief, with vengeance and the Dark Side had found its new champion, an easy one to exploit, a deadly one to use to spread its influence across the galaxy, I have seen what the Dark Side wishes to use with him and our future is a grim one if he is successful." the woman explained.

"So, now, I am giving you all a choice as the Alliance has served its purpose, the Empires of the Sith are gone and Republic is now rising in its absence, to leave the Alliance, and go home to your families or seek adventures elsewhere and be relieved of your duties." Arda paused, murmurs waved through the group.

"Or, stay, and we begin a new Resistance, one that will oppose any regime, Empire, warlord, or leader who seeks on annihilating those who will not bow to their demands." The grandmaster fell quiet, waiting for the room to respond.

Omnis listened to his Grandmaster's words with a solemn determination, not having foreseen her request but not opposed to it. It was a good idea, and it would free any who wished to leave of any obligation or heartache over their decision. His answer was an obvious one, though, as the Jedi were now his closest family. His father was getting on in years, focusing on the theater on Coruscant, while his mother had already passed on. The galaxy still wasn't safe, so he couldn't stop his fight. To do so wouldn't be right to all those who had already laid down their lives for the cause, the ideal. To be honest, though, this wasn't a choice truly meant for him. With that in mind he made to move next to Arda, showing his support of her request in silent solidarity. The time for speaking was for any rebels wishing to join them and he wouldn't steal this time from them. This wasn't his moment, it was theirs, and he would respect that. He just hoped he could keep working with the many friends he had made so far over the years. Even if they left, though, he would do his best to protect them all, to keep their dreams alive and let them live in the peace they earned.

"Champion of the Dark?" Alys spoke from somewhere to the side of the gathered group. "This new Mand'alor might be many things, but I don't think he is anything so ominous." She paused for a moment before continuing, as heads turned to take notice of her.

"He might be grieving, he might be angered with us. I do not know, I have never met the man. But I also know he is a Mandalorian, and a man who Raz Solus loved and married." she felt a pang of regret at the loss of the former Mand'alor, with her had died the possibility of a different sort of peace in the Galaxy. "I had met Raz Solus, knew a bit of her from Master Rayth. She was an honorable woman, and she would not have married someone who wasn't every bit as straightforward and honorable as her.I have wandered the Galaxy these past few years, and spent time in many a world controlled by the Mandalorians. They might be rough around the edges, but they are also honorable. They do well by their people and worlds have prospered where they once suffered under the Sith yoke." It had been a surprise to her to see how well the people were doing actually, pleasantly so. Which was why the Grandmaster's words surprised her even more. "I do not believe this man to be a champion of the Dark, rather in his actions I see the possibility of a safer future for the Galaxy. The Sith have fled, their Empire crumbled in their wake, and a Republic is being born. One that was born from Raz Solus' efforts. Her husband will not attack that gift, I think not."

She looked around, wondering what he future held for those around, Jedi and others alike."The Galaxy might have peace after a very long time. So what are we to resist? The possibility for the Galaxy to know peace? The Mandalorians will probably absorb what is left of the Empire, the Republic will protect the rest. There will be true peace. I see no purpose in a resistance." She was not sure what that really meant for the Jedi, but she did know what it meant for the Galaxy at large. And whatever it might cost, peace was worth paying any price. "I am no perfect Jedi, and as easily as I might want to toss aside the Mand'alor's words as an impossibility, I wonder if he doesn't speak some truth. How many times have our brothers and sisters fallen to the Dark side in this fight against the Sith? Well, the Sith have gone into hiding. Maybe it is time we scatter as well, spread out across the Galaxy. Our fight, if a Jedi should even have a fight, is with the Sith. Not with these Mandalorians. Let us give them a chance to bring peace to the Galaxy, while the Jedi vanish into the wind and fight the fight we were meant to. Serve the people, not waste our energy with a futile resistance."

She wasn't sure what everyone else would do, but she was in no position to be telling them what to do. The words that had left her lips so far were already the words of an hypocrite, but how could she have left without at least giving peace a chance. "Many of us have strayed from the path of the Jedi, maybe this is an opportunity to find it again. I know I have done things I am not proud of, mistakes that I must make amends for. I will go into exile, serving the people where I go, doing what I can to serve the Force."

With that she turned away and began walking towards one of the exits, pulling out her comlink as she left and sending a message to her droid to ready her ship. It was time to begin a new journey, one of redemption. Hopefully the others would find their own way. She would have liked nothing more than seeing the Alliance become a part of the Republic, but that was a choice for them to make on their own. She was no longer a Jedi Master, she had lost the right to call herself that years ago. Now she had to earn it once more.

Davis was utterly confused. The Mandalorians declared war on the Jedi because they were not worth their time? When Davis looked around at the Galactic Alliance and its past years they were in no position to pose any threat to the Mandalorians, not unlike how they had not ever really managed to become a threat to the Sith. "We have served our purpose, Grand Master?" No doubt the present Jedi could feel the anger inside him. "Then what was that which we accomplished? All this alliance has done was give the Jedi its foothold back." As Master Drast already pointed out it were the Mandalorians who accomplished the Alliance's goals for them with their own sweat and blood. After all, Davis had heard that it was the reluctance of Jedi and rebels to put their lives on the line that caused the initial rift with the warrior crusaders. "If that was truly the purpose to which my fellow rebels gave their lives, then your Order is no different than it was 500 years ago!" If that was the reason then the non-jedi in this room and in this alliance had been made fools of.

Davis shook his head and still was no closer to understanding anything. "The Sith still hold the fortress worlds where their power lies. Worlds not even the Mandalorians have managed to assault. That is a strength the Jedi have not had since before the schism and they still do. Our fight against the atrocities of the Sith is far from over.

Kyi considered everything the Grand Master said and he agreed with all of it. He wore these black Jedi robes now, out of respect and as a way to mourn his fallen Rebel and Jedi allies. The Jedi at their core have always been peace keepers and if he and anyone else who agreed to join Arda had to fight against the Mandalorians to restore that peace - he was all for it. The young Jedi Knight stared at the ground for a few moments before making a final decision on his stance. He noticed Omnis take his stance with the Grand Master which gave the Knight a slight boost in confidence.

Kyi held his head up and made eye contact with the Grand Master, clenching his fists tight, "We've always been peace keepers, right? If that peace is disturbed, it's our job as Jedi to restore the balance. So, I'm with you all the way Grand Master Breaux." the Jedi Knight called out with the most determination he had ever felt before. He looked around the conference room to see if anyone else had shared his sentiment before bowing his head slightly, out of respect, toward the Grand Master.

Listening to the few who had spoken say his or her piece. Tycho felt something that he should say something. Not only aimed at those who are fairly new to the Alliance. But to inspire those thinking of continuing the fight. Well he hoped it will inspire. Otherwise this speech that has been playing in his head will just be wasted breath, "Some of you in this room may be thinking that this war was only about helping the Jedi come back. But this long.. Hard fought war is far more than about Jedi or Sith. Rebels against Imperials or Mandalorians." The General paused. Looking at everyone in the room. Looking everyone in the eyes. "It was about bring back a form of government that will allow everyone to live free from being judged for who or what they are. Able to decide what to do with their lives instead of being told what they can or cannot do simply because of their race or where they came from." The man will pause again to let those words sink in a little bit before continuing to say the words that were playing in his mind.

"By us resisting and fighting back we steadily became a beacon for the everyday people. A voice for them."

The former criminal briefly looked down to his feet. Then looked back to everyone in the room. Unsure of what affects his next words may have on those present."The Mandalorians seeming to fill the void that the Empire left behind.. That is a consequence of the war that we fought; as well as proof that our fight against a suppressive government is not over. Did we know it was going to be the Mandalorians filling that void? No. We did not know. But what we all must know is that the Mandalorians.. With their views.. Are no better than those among the ranks of what is left of the Empire. If we allow the Mandalorians to spread their own Imperialistic views across the galaxy then all of our hardwork will be undone. With it millions being suppressed...and some being wrongfully targeted just for what they are." His gaze settled on Ashlynna for a moment. Only for a second before continuing on to look at the others. Hoping what he has said will have a positive affect.

"We must continue being the beacon of hope for those that will be suppressed not only on worlds that the Empire still holds. But now by the Mandalorians... And continue to fight until the Republic is back and fully restored. Only then will the fight be over." The General will then finish up with a firm voice. Looking to Arda the man nodded, signifying that he will be staying with the Alliance to continue the fight.

Teran listened to the arguments and announcements that were quickly erupting throughout the meeting. It was clear that there was contention and disagreement amidst the Rebels and Jedi alike. It may well be that everyone would ignore what he was about to say, but he would speak what he thought was the truth.

Master Breaux, he spoke up (@GABAdactyl). What happened at the meeting with Leandros? he asked, genuinely confused. When he'd seen the announcement on holonet he had been shocked and confused. Now that he heard more of the stories his mind wasn't any clearer, it was only more confused.

Leandros met with you to tell you that he was declaring war and then simply walked away without attacking? Those don't sound like the actions of someone corrupted by the darkness. I stand by anyone who fights against the Sith or those who champion the darkness, but shouldn't that be a last resort as guardians of peace? Grief can be healed and fear can be overcome. It's the destiny of a Jedi to confront fear and to help others confront theirs, he said, looking to those gathered around.

Writing an entire culture off to the Dark Side so quickly isn't any better than what the Mandalorians are doing to Force users. Isn't readily embracing a war declaration made by a former ally a bit... premature? he asked in genuine confusion, not bearing disrespect in his tone but hesitant to rush into another war without reason if there was still another route. That was the role of a Jedi, and no one would ever convince Teran otherwise.

General Draykon, wouldn't it be better to make peace with the Mandalorians and ally with the budding new government that can offer actual peace than launch into another war? he asked (@Nommie). If we can make diplomatic advances isn't there eventually a time to lay down arms and seek that route? he asked. He half expected people to dismiss him out of hand, and simply follow the flow that seemed easier, but Teran was more determined than that. If he had to do it himself, then he would.

THEME

Brent had been to Jedha a few times though usually they were not long stays. He stayed on Eloria mostly, his work in the library there keeping him occupied. Otherwise the Knight was off doing missions though to his superiors they probably saw it as just an excuse to gallivant. Brent would admit, sometimes he did enjoy his work.

A smile across the handsome jedi's face persisted as he stood towards the back of the gathering. His green eyes looked down at his hands, noticing that so much of Jedha's sand had already collected under his finger nails. During the meeting he would pick at them, cleaning them despite knowing they would just get dirty again. His personal entertainment attendant floated out of one of his pouches and began playing cricket noises along with an occasional hoot from an owl. "Hey, get back in there." He muttered. The man needed to see what was wrong with the cheap glorified speakers.

The Drast had heard what what transpired to a degree. Brent had been a little buzzed when the original holo-net broadcast had aired though now he was feeling the full affects of sobriety. It was not that bad. As usual he just quirked his mouth to the side and shrugged to himself. This sucks. But we'll be fine. The man had an optimistic attitude when it came to this sort of thing. It did make him a little disheartened that this decreased his chances of successfully hitting on mandalorian women. Not that I can tell the difference between the men and women with all that armor on. There were plenty of non-bes'kad wielding cuties in the galaxy anyways.

People tried guessing and asking about what was to come. Brent, he worked on his finger nails. The answers would come when they came. There was no point in rushing it. I need to get a refill on that- But Arda ended up speaking up just as he had known she would.

Brent listened to the Grandmaster's words. Then in turn he heard his cousin's voice. He had not seen very much of her in awhile which was a shame but it happens when a galaxy was in this degree of conflict. But Brent was surprised to hear her announce her self exile. Pushing off the wall and dropping his mostly clean hands to his side he took a few steps closer. He wanted to ask her more about her reasoning. But in this conference hall in front of so many people it was probably not the best place. (@Wit )

Some scraggly looking guy in need of a shave spoke up. Dickus Wam maybe was his name but then again Brent had never been good with names. "I mean...didn't one mando try to assualt them one time, in like a shuttle or something?" He asked nobody in particular. What's the mando word for dumbass? He thought to himself after asking the other question. An answer was unlikely to come so the Knight just shrugged. Let them have their crap hole worlds The man had been born and raised on Korriban technically. It was not a place he really wanted to go back to any time soon. (@Ecclessey )

After Tycho spoke Brent was about to speak but beside him Teran spoke first. He voiced more or less the same questions Brent had thought. So in a pose he made it apparent more attention should be paid to the valued words of his cohort. "Uh...what he said" The Mandalorians did not seem like they were nearly as bad as the Sith. They were another factor altogether. Still, they were not something that the Jedi Order could just ignore. (@Phoenix )

The personal entertainment attendant began to float out of his pouch again. This time before it could make a sound he palmed it and pushed it back into his pouch. A sad droid noise came from it but it obeyed. The casually dressed Knight made a mental note to get some velcro or a snap button to keep it from floating out like a miniature wandering balloon.
