On board the Alecto just after departing the Koda Station:

There had been tension earlier that was not allowed to fully play out or resolve itself given the full scope of the situation that occurred. Somehow Kae'Tl had ended up on the same side of a mission as this bounty hunter, and he was now riding in her ship, but that doesn't mean the conflict will go unresolved..

After approximately one half hour after lifting off from the Koda station, Kae'To had had more than enough of this "mute"s silence and had decided to do something about it.

"You! Come with me." She demanded of Kaern not giving him time to reply(or object) before walking out of the ships massive cock-pit. They walked through the ships interior passing the quarters, the mess hall, and the med bay.
"X, clear the hull, I need some room" she said into her ear piece comm, she'd been nice enough to grant Karen on upon entering her ship, more of just needing a way to order him around if she needed.

A quick reply came over the comm,"Aye captain." Followed by a second voice, much deeper, obviously the ships besilisk,"Oh man, it's about to get messy down there."

The pair passed the engine room and then the droid chambers before finally coming to the hull of the ship, the automatic diagonal sliding doors opened and hull was revealed, most of the few crates still remaining from the crews last take had been slid to the sides. leaving s large space in the middle of the room. X an Xexto male and the Ships Mechanic was just moving the last crate out of the way before finding a seat, no doubt to watch what was about to come next. A female Twi'Lek and a GE3-series protocol droid were also present in the large room, out of the way of course but obviously there as spectators.

Kae'Tl took the one lightsaber Karen knew about and set it on a crate near the Xexto(Not that it mattered, as one flick of the wrist and it would be back in her hand) then walked to the center of the room and took a light, but obviously well trained agile fighting stance. "Let's go!" She said in a threatening manner.

Kaern would not normally follow an abrupt order from someone he barely knew, let alone barely liked. But he was on her ship, with her crew. Now would be a poor time to pick a fight. He may he stubborn in many situations, but he was not stupid. Though Kaern would almost welcome death, he did not seek it.

He made clear note of cabs and crew as they traveled throughout the ship. Small, but big enough. A little more than a rag tag band, and this ship was inpressive. Clearly it was no easy find, which made him wonder where the woman acquired this and her red lightsaber if she was not a sith. Perhaps...she was like him?

However, he had to push his analyzing thoughts away when they came to the cargo bay, and she revealed exactly what she wanted, a duel. He would not dissapoint.

"Kae'Tl, was it? Are we fighting only hand to hand?" Kaern spoke then through the hiss of his helmet, legging moving back and arms coming up readily, prepared to take and give blows as they started to gather the small crowd of her crew.

"If we used our weapons you wouldn't stand a chance, and I don't want all of your, no doubt missed, shots putting holes in my cargo, or my crew." Kae'Tl said with certainty.
Kae'Tl took a stance with the left side of her body forward and right leg back. Only her left are was raised with an open palm pointed toward her opponent. Her right hand sat on her belt.

She would wait for him to charge first. Allowing him to get close, before using telekinesis to push his legs backwards causing him to fall forward as she would land a dominant side upper cut to his chin. After landing the strike she would launch herself into the air(assisted by the force) and if all was successful, land with both feet on the small of her opponent's back.

"I don't miss my shots." She heard him speak low, seeming to have a similar idea tonlet her charge. But seeing as she didn't he approached slowly, carefully, seeming content to not charge when suddenly he burst forward with surprising speed and swung his leg with precision at her open side. He expected her to have to turn to block, leaving her backside open to him if he was careful not to letbher grab his leg.

They both were already thinking three moves ahead, playing out the possibilities in their minds, yet only one blow had been sent by the bounty hunter.

She would not turn to block, she knew this would allow his strike to land. At nearly the same time, his leg began to swing she utilized to the force to throw her opponent's helmet from his head and simultaneously attempted striking him in the left cheek with her right fist, before taking the blow to what was now her left side. She rolled backwards to create distance between the two.

"Everyone gets one." She said. As if she had planned to allow him to strike her this one time.

It was only now that she was able to fully see her opponents face, as he had been helmeted the entire time until now.

Oh, He's a echani she thought. Believing him to just be some form of human until proved wrong just now.

He grunted, taking a few steps back himself, he just having a cloth not covering his nose and mouth, but he pulled it down then, revealing his full face. There was a light scar across the bridge of his nose, and a clip from his left ear was gone as his silvers hair was combed back and reached the base of his neck. He seemed Echani, but perhaps a bit off. His skin was pale but not to the degree of the race, and his hair was a darker silver than white. His own striking eyes were glaring into her own, but he had no words to throw back.

He moved forward again, eyes watching her own, and then his fist swung and followed it up spinning on his hel for a round house kick aimed at the back of her head.

For almost a half a moment, Kae'Tl looked at her opponent, she'd never actually had an Echani on her ship. Then Kae'Tl's body spun as well, except that she had dropped low to the ground causing the Echani's leg to sail over her. Her dominant leg came out in a sweeping motion attempting to bring the Echani down as he already had one leg in the air.

If successful Kae'Tl would clamber on top of the man and begin a rage filled barrage of fists to the mans head and throat region, followed by a dirty knee to the groin.

The man's leg was swept, but he managed to roll as he hit the ground away from her attempt to continue the assault, getting to his feet with his back to her and springing up from where he had ended up. The bounty hunter seemed to know exactly where Kae'Tl was as he landed on the other side of her. Was it natural for echani to be able to jump like that? Most likely not...her suspicions were realized then. This mam could in fact use the force.

And doing just that, Kaern suddenly seemed to gain a good bit more of speed on top of his already quick attacks as he charged her once again. It was as if he had not been doing so before, just relying on his physical ability, but he had recognized she clearly had him outmatched if he chose to hold himself back.

"Sith scum" she said under her breath, believing to have confirmed her suspicion that this man was with the brotherhood and sent to track her down.

I got a surprise for you..

She took a heavy defensive stance, prepared to used the man's momentum against him to flip him over onto his back by catching his next kick or blocking his punch and wrestling him down.

If successful, Kae'Tl would begin pinning the man's non-dominant arm, until it broke or he surrendered..

Kaern seemed more careful and precise even with his strikes, clearly attempting to not let her try and catch him overextending attacks again. His eyes were locked on her own, as if reading her without even using the force, trying to break through her defenses.

When she caught his fist he dropped his body fast in an attempt to get under and and pick her up off of the ground to take her base away and try and swing her to the ground himself. However, it seemed clear neither was about to let the other get their attacks complete. Perhaps...this was a stalemate between the two?

The two scuffled for a bit, both trying to take each other down to the ground. Then Kae'Tl blasted both of them with a force push creating a distance between them of almost 40 feet.

"X setting one, Dax protocol zero.." came over the comms in Kae'Tl's voice which would also be the last thing her opponent heard over it, as his comm had been cut from the on board communication.

The lights in the hull of the ship dimmed heavily, leaving only about 20% of the light there had been.

Though dark, the two could still see each other, and it was then that Kae'Tl's body was surrounded by a wicked looking green smoke. What's more the green smoke appeared to be crackling with electricity. The green electric smoke spiralled around her body in tight circles starting at her feet until it reached her breast where her hands had been, just then the strange sight became volatile as the green whatever it was began spiraling quickly through the air towards her opponent. Not as fast as a blaster bolt but fast enough that a very quick defensive reaction would be needed just to dodge the "thing..'

Immediately after, the saber flew from the crate, next to the multi armed man alien holding a portable control panel, landing in her right hand activating immediately.

The man would have not been able to dodge out of the way had he not been able to pre-sense the attack with force. As her own lightsaber was pulled, she watched as his dim form was suddenly illuminated by red...His own lightsaber had been drawn then, he glaring straight at her as he brought the saber up in a ready stance.

"You really want one of us to die here, for a spar?" He spoke lowly, yet it did not seem to bother him. Yet it seemed strange he would bring the thought up, wasn't he here to hunt her down?

"You really want one of us to die here, for a spar?"

In that moment Kae'Tl began to question her certainty of this man's affiliation with the"You really want one of us to die here, for a spar?" brotherhood, although his red saber didn't help but convince her that he was indeed a piece of Sith sent to destroy her.. alternatively, she too had a red lightsaber, two of them in fact.

She decided to test the water of this subject. A second lightsaber flew from under her waist-cape into her left hand and was activated almost instantly,"I will kill every man the Brotherhood sends after me." Implying she still believed he was sent by the Sith.

Although she said the words with certainty in her voice, she was starting to doubt them. After what Sith would go to this great of a length instead of just attacking her in the cantina where they met.

Nevertheless Kae'Tl stepped into an offensive Jar'Kai stance and was prepared to begin the fight again, except this time utilizing her sabers in the violent form of Juyo.

"Well then that makes two of us I guess." He spoke, arching his brow at her as he brought his lightsaber forward in a defensive stance, eyes watching her own. Could he be lying to kill her later? Of course it was possible, but it didn't seem to be true. Then again this seeming bounty hunter was hard to get a read on.

"I don't use this weapon lightly. Unless you intend to kill me, I'm not fighting you." Kaern finally said then, suddenly shutting the laser sword off and standing up then, walking over to where his helmet was to pick it up. He had left himself exposed, she able to attack then. He was just trusting her not to.

At this time the female Twi'Lek had brandished her rifle prepared to fire if given the order, even the Xacto had pulled a weapon, a small blaster pistol, but a weapon no less.

Kae'Tl stood there for a second. No Sith would shut their saber off in the middle of a battle..

"It seems we have much to discuss." Deactivating her own sabers and returning them to their holsters.

The man's helmet flew into her hands, as she then handed it to him,"We'll go to the med bay first, then if your up to it, food."She said as if offering an olive branch."Disengage protocol zero"

Kaern's comm would come back online just in time to hear,"Aye cap'n, welcome back little man" the voice from the ships besilisk was quite recognizable as the only extremely low voice and it sounded mostly like a growl.

Kae'Tl led Kaern to the med bay where they both had the protocol droid check their minor injuries sustained. "You both appear very healthy" the droid said.

"Very good" turning to Kaern,"Food? We even have Gummbah pudding.." suggesting her favorite dessert to the man.

Just moments ago she had been prepared to kill this man, now it seemed they were good friends, to her it felt satisfying to have another person around who knew what it was like to abandon the Sith..

Kaern stood there for a moment as she offered him a meal, but his stomach audibly growling at the thought had the man nod then, truly a man of few words as he turned to the side to let Kae'Tl lead the way, redressing in his lightly armored suit that her droid had him remove to analyze the spar's aftermath.

Though lean, Kaern's muscle was very obvious, and his body had clearly seen many fights. Light scarring covered the man, especially his back to the pont it looked like a nexu scratching post. She knew then this would be much more likely be due to an abusive master than his bounty hunting career. She was a very successful student, so she had not been punished so much for failure. He seemed to have learned the hard way.

She gazed upon the man's body, fit and attractive despite the amazing amount of scars covering his skin. "I didn't realize I hurt you that bad.. You should learn to defend yourself better..." making a joke at his expense.

Her body while mostly uncovered displayed no evidence of combat, her perfect skin not bearing any cuts, abrasions or even birth/stretch marks.

Once in the mess hall the pair were served a set of perfectly cooked Nerf steak and Bantha soup with a heafty amount of gummbah pudding. Most of the crew was present as well, a rare occasion that this many members of the crew ate at the same time. The only one missing was the mirilan who was currently piloting the ship along side the ships astromech.

"I already did." The man spoke through the static voice from his helmet, not seeming to appreciate her humor, or not caring enough to give anything but a bland reply.

It seemed a bit silly, just putting his helmet on to walk to the mess hall, yet Kaern found a certain comfort in it, as well as being able to take some brief scans of the ship to learn what he could. But when the food was brought to hin be removed it once more instead of just pulling down the cloth covering his mouth. He didn't just dig in, seeming decently mannered as he took a fork and knife. Fancy was far from what described the bounty hunter, but Kaern seemed to eat simply and calmly enough, almost like a trained soldier. It was much more eloquent than most of her crew, at least comparatively.

As the besilisk shoveled down his 3rd steak electing to not use utensils,"So where are you from?" Clearly he hadn't met a echani before.

"More importantly" brushing away Dax's comment,"how did you come to abandon the Sith?" After hearing his answer she would share her story with the man as well including the after part where she would describe how she met each crew member individually. Finding a large amount of common ground between the two.

Hard to believe we were so close to being enemies.

After finishing their meals the crew left the mess hall and made there way about the ship. Either returning to their stations or not.

Kae'Tl was one of the last to finish her meal, and as a result only Kaern and Kae'Tl were left in the room by that time. "You know, you should consider keeping your helmet off more.." suggesting that she appreciated him more without it before offering him a drink. Although the pair appeared to be becoming friendly Kae'Tl still did not let him out of her sight much.

"I'm from Ringo Vinga. And I was never really a sith. They killed my family, I just had to be patient until I got what I needed from them and left after I murdered my master." He said simply. It seemed a much bigger story, but Kaern wsd clearly not one for theatrics, giving them nothing but an almost emotionless, simplistic answer. If there was a real personality on him, his shell had hardened long ago.

However when her crew got up to leave, he had in fact stayed, and even possibly per her request left his helmet off. "So, what is your story with them?" She heard him surprisingly be the first to talk, and even with interest as he watched the former nightsister.
