Anyone want to do space stuff with starfighters and light freighters and stuff instead of dealing with all that dumb boring capital ship nonsense?

It'll probably be a thread generally open to any Cartel peeps that want to join, but I just wanted to see if there was any interest in it before I went ahead and put it up. Something I've been thinking about doing is more events like this (and like Kowak, and Salt & Water) that havea bit more variety to them, are open for general involvement, and and a bit more important, and hopefully more fun than the average mission or bounty which can just start to feel like a mill. So far it seems like people really enjoy the event style more, and it's something that'd be easier for the staff to keep up with where we can start a thread, and then make a post every seven days or so to move things forward, and whatnot, giving time for development, and allowing it to be a bit more spontaneous than missions.

Anyway, if anyone wants to show off some mad skillz taking down Jedi starfighter, or have a comment on this idea in general, or some other comment, or haterade, leave a reply below!

I generally operate under the theory of "do whatever you want as long as it makes sense for the character and isn't metagaming"

Huzzah! And just to note you can also use anything that's on the Navy writeup and under a hundred meters for something like this. Whichever starfighters, light freighters, or transports strikes your fancy. And that goes for anyone who doesn't have a ship, or just wants to use one.

And if you guys want some kind of reward like, whatever you want I guess as long as it's within reason. The tiered rewards thing should be back sometime next week, and it'll have more room for stuff like this, and you may have noticed that events like this now count for more for applying for new ranks than they previously did at the expense of missions since the goal is to have more of these going forward. I'm also going to start another event on Thursday probably that'll be on Nar Shaddaa, and then one the week after that on Rishi.

It's no problem if you're busy, I'm just trying to figure out where things are at activity wise. If there's enough going to keep people busy, and have room for new members to join in the fun, or if there's just not enough going on to give people stuff to do.
