Turns out that the pain Leah felt was just an instinctive reaction - the damage is actually rather superficial as it turns out her chest armor was a factory failure and the armor was made thicker than usual in that area.

Slap a plaster on it, drink your cup of cement and harden up already!

Not only do you perform the breaching action perfectly like a total tactical boss the 7 guards had stayed up and watched a scary movie last night and are on edge. That all are standing close together and get hit by the concusion greande and start shooting blindly. One even ends up shotting two of his teammates.
