Despite the fact she’d been wandering for close to an hour, Jayna quite vehemently refused to admit she was lost. She had arrived on Denon only a few hours prior - tagging along as part of a Student Disaster Outreach Tam, based out of her Theed Academy. Unsurprisingly, years of warfare and occupation had left much of the ecumenopolis devastated, and thus a prime location for relief and rebuilding efforts.
Jayna, of course, didn’t care about the planet whatsoever. She hated the mere concept of getting her hands dirty or having to interact with some spice-addled, filthy vagrant. All of it was beneath her. All the same, though.. Her participation in the benevolent, volunteer mission just so happened to look fantastic on her official record, both to the public and for future university applications.
She’d even decided to blast GalaxyGram and Switter with pictures and video of her trip to Denon - ensuring that she was being seen by her multitude of social media followers. It wasn’t much different from what her father had done in the aftermath of Firrerre, after all.
Of course, things had only gone downhill from there. For one reason or another, Jayna had gotten herself separated from the group she was traveling with - and her search had, apparently, only gotten herself further into the undercity and farther from her companions. Not that any of them were worth a dime - beyond the fact that her NalPhone had run out of battery some half-hour ago, and was banking on using someone else’s for directions.
Jayna stood out like a sore thumb on the lower levels of Denon - from the expensive perfume that filled the air, to the designer clothes she wore. She was dressed in a pair of black shorts and a matching blazer, with a white blouse underneath. A few aurodium necklaces hung from her neck, coupled with a designer watch on her wrist. Her accessories alone likely were worth more than the collective income of that entire city block, and Jayna was convinced someone was going to try to mug her at the nearest opportunity.
She briefly considered sitting down somewhere and waiting for someone to come looking. Frankly, people tripped over themselves around her enough that Jayna figured her absence had already been noted. Instead, she stubbornly continued walking - silver eyes flicking down to her NalPhone for the fourth time in the past five minutes.
Nope, still dead.
“Kriff.” She said flatly, glaring down at the screen icily before looking back ahead.
