Hugo Ion stood inside the command center of B’omarr Castle, surrounded by a frenzy of activity. Following his discussion with Mandalore Solus, the Duros had came here to personally oversee the evacuation of the Alliance headquarters on Tatooine. Far as he knew Arda had not been here but she but likely aware of their presence on the planet itself. I can’t take any chance. There are too many lives at stake here.

Thinking so, he turned to his Sullustan aide Dynur beside him. “Status report lieutenant.” He calmly ordered. Swiftly the young woman replied.

“All data related to our operations in the system here have been purged by now along with anything else of note. The first wave of transports with their escorts, made it off planet and now went into hyperspace two minutes ago.”

“Good, make sure the radar is still functioning and keep the turrets outside at the ready.” Commander Ion noted. Dynur nodded, letting her superior officer know it will be carried out before making the calls.

He then fixed his glaze on the other rebels moving back and forth with their duties. Despite the situation they remained relatively calm, filling Ion’s heart with silent pride. I will make it up to you all somehow. Hugo quietly vowed.

Of course they weren’t the only ones here. As part of their recent agreement there was some Mandalorians coming to assist with the evacuation. The Duros was curious at how well their alliance will together in a situation like this.

Two Nynir-class corvettes slammed out of hyperspace above Tatooine, their hangars opening up to let loose the shuttles and fighters within. The shuttles would head down towards the coordinates of B’omarr Castle, given to them as part of their evacuation agreement. The fighters would ensure that the shuttles were protected and that any enemy starfighters were interdicted, while the shuttles would begin to ferry people back to their ships for safe exfiltration from the region. This was a critical assignment that his Mand’alor had given him, and Leandros would see it through to the end. The will of the Chosen would be done.

The rebels suffered betrayal at the hands of one of their own, apparently. One of their leaders was overcome by cowardice and selfishness and abandoned one of their own to the Sith, who was no doubt torturing the captive to get the locations of the rebel secret bases. The Rebels would surely lose their foothold on these planets, for the Sith were no doubt coming to exterminate them. It was only a matter of time.

Leandros stood aboard the bridge of his flagship, the Purity of Purpose, in his iconic black-and-red armor adorned with the various sigils of his station. He beheld Tatooine in all of its arid glory. It was a harsh and unforgiving planet, hardly a place suited for life, yet people found a way. He had to commend that, to a degree. Only the weak would shy away from perfectly tamable land in the face of hardship. However, despite the secrecy of the base, there was a flurry of commotion as they began to evacuate. Though he did not know the person responsible, Leandros felt nothing but contempt for whomever would leave behind a comrade to the enemy. It was beyond pitiful; it was disgusting, and he hoped that whomever it was got the judgment and punishment they deserved.

The two corvettes approached Tatooine, and he nodded to his communications officer, who opened a channel between them and the Rebel command on-planet. ”This is Field Marshal Leandros Solus aboard the Purity of Purpose,” he began whenever the call was received, ”Here on behalf of Mand’alor the Chosen. I’ve two corvettes in orbit ready to help your evacuation where needed." He waited a moment before continuing, watching the flurry of activity as the ships flew down towards the Castle. "I sent down two shuttles with starfighter escorts; don’t shoot them down or we’re all gonna have a bad day.”

He kept the line open for the time being, ready to receive whatever instruction for help that the rebels needed. The corvettes were on high alert for Sith ships and were given the command to fire on anything that has Sith transponder codes.

The rebel lieutenant had just gotten back to base perhaps a day ago. All this time after he participated in the mission to take down the Network Access he had been on Nar Shaddaa taking part in operations there. He stayed behind for as long as he could, doing as much as he could. So the officer had no idea about what had taken place during the Tribunal or the betrayal they have all suffered. When Tycho did eventually hear of it upon his return to B'omarr Castle as everyone was talking about it. So it did not take long for him to learn all the details. Never had he imagined that a Jedi Master would abandon her student to the Sith, he felt disgusted. Who knows what sort of torture the poor Jedi is having to go through. He was sure that what he endured years ago are in no way on the same level the Jedi will be going through this very minute. So the rogue was not surprised when the order to evacuate came through the comms. In fact he was already ready to go since what little he had was in his Overhead Shuttle as usual.

But right now the man had allowed the medical staff to use his shuttle to take the sick and injured up to the ships that are waiting in orbit. As the medical team used his shuttle, the rebel officer will help out on the ground to make sure that the evacuation goes as smoothly as possible. But there was one problem. With some of the troops and staff already having evacuated. Space on the ships in orbit for the sick and wounded was still available but the staff are struggling to get the patients loaded and off world in a timely fashion. As much was relayed to Tycho the moment the shuttle was landed and the medic told him of the complaint, "I will see what I can do. Hang tight. In the mean time get some on board any shuttles you can find along with whoever you can get onboard." He will tell the medic before walking off to see what he can find out.

As he headed out the Lieutenant spotted pilots that are heading to two shuttles, "You four! What are you up to?" He will ask, cocking an eyebrow as they explained that they had not been assigned to anything in particular. Well this was perhaps either a blessing or a stroke of luck that the rebel had caught the four pilots, "Alright. You two are going to help the medical staff with the patients and getting whoever or whatever else out of here." He will tell the pilots before continuing on his way.

He needed to tell Commander Ion right away. He had not met the Commander before until now so he was not sure what to expect. He had heard of horror stories of officers loosing themselves and standing in a daze during a time of crisis like this. But a part of him doubted that Ion was one of those officers. Not with how effectively he has the evacuation going so far. Though part of that was thanks to the rest of those stationed here keeping calm. It was not hard for him to spot the commander in the crowd. He made sure to salute the blue, bald being, "Sir. I just received a report from the medical team that they are struggling to keep up with evacuating the sick and wounded. They are saying that they will need help if they are to keep up with the timescale." Tycho paused, "What should I tell them, Commander?" He would ask finally. He hated to have to put this stress on the Commander's shoulders but he needed to know what to do to alleviate the medical team's problems. With all the shuttles currently in use he was not sure what ships he can divert to the medical team on top of the two that he had ordered to help. The criminal turned rebel will do his best to take some of the stress weighing the commander down off his shoulders, but he first needed to know what ships to have diverted to help the medical team since most of the staff from the base has already evacuated.

Immediately one of the communications specialists in front of the Commander said with a raised hand. “Sir we’re being hailed. It’s the Mandalorians!” For the first time tonight Ion smiled. Raz Solus was keeping her end of the bargain. I will return the favor somehow. He silently told himself while gesturing for the staff to patch their allies through. Swiftly they all can hear Leandros Solus, informing them of his intentions.

A sighs of relief can be heard many a rebel in the command center. Not wasting a moment, the rebel Duros answered back through the comms.

“This is Alliance Commander Hugo Ion and we acknowledge you Field Marshall. Thanks for coming. We’ve direct your shuttles to the hanger bay and update you of any new developments.”

The rebels was about to burst into a cheer before Ion stopped them with a hand signal, directing the staff to focus back on their duties. Of course the resistance leader couldn’t blame their excitement. With their allies’ support they should be able to speed up the process further expected. Before he can think more on the subject, a brown haired and mustache human approached him with a salute. Returning it quickly Hugo waited for an explanation and received one.

Muttering a swear world in his people’s tongue, he briefly considered the options. Looking back at Tyco Draykon, the commander replied.

“Empty out the supply freighters to make room. All available personal will be assigned to help with our wounded. Thank you lieutenant now go back assist with them with it.”

With that order, Hugo messaged the Mandalorians back up the surface.

“Field Marshall I request that your shuttles to take in some of our wounded. We can handle the rest, but we’re stretched thin here transport wise to be honest.”

Leandros remained on the bridge of his flagship, arms crossed over his chest as he awaited the rebel commander’s reply. Within moments of opening a comms channel with them, he responded, to which Leandros was glad. He was not here to wait around and play games; he was here because he was told to be here and that was that. These rebels were too weak to remain on their planets, and so they relied on the Mandalorians to facilitate their retreat. Hmph, he thought, watching his ships disappear as they approached the planet.

The rebels had taken his advice to not fire on his ships, a welcome occurrence, and directed them towards the hangars. Leandros’ pilots were ordered to obey the commands of the rebel leadership and recover their personnel. They would bring them back to the corvettes for treatment, but they would not be afforded the same degree of care and hospitality other Mandalorians were given. He was a man of principle, and people who could not pull their own weight were useless to him. They would be treated, of course, but they would not be welcome to wander around the ships without escort.

”Very well,” he said in reply to Hugo’s request, ”My pilots’ll bring your wounded in for care, but we’re not a hospital. We’ll take them to safety for better treatment and release them back to you afterwards.” He uncrossed his arms and nodded to his communications bridge officer, who relayed the information to his shuttle pilots down on the planet. He was loathe to offer their medical services, but this alliance relied on trust, and that would be built by helping these rebels.

OOC: genuinely forgot to respond to this, my bad :p
