APPEARANCE:
6’3”, Brown hair with silver flecks appearing at the temples. Willowy build. Face is starting to show the slightest hints of losing its fullness with age, but his green-brown eyes are alive with vigour.
PERSONALITY:
Ever the thinker, he is quick to listen, slow to speak. Arguably this slowness has held back his career in an age of decisive action. He, however, does not view his life with the Jedi as a career but a calling: the corresponding responsibility to the gift of the Force.
He thinks in abstracts primarily and so his loyalties to individuals will always be secondary to his ideals. This can make him appear aloof or even pompous. However, those who call him friend are grateful for his honest feedback and consistent position, even when it's critical.
BIOGRAPHY:
Born to will off parents in the financial sector, they were disappointed to find out So-Lon was forced sensitive and destined for the Jedi academy. They respected the Order, but would have preferred a different, more lucrative direction for their own son. As a result, he and his parents never really saw eye to eye, eventually losing touch until the news of their passing reached him later in life. He regretted the lost time together but did not grieve their passing.
So-Lon took to the academic side of Jedi training like a child first discovering sugar, though the physical elements bored him and he was rarely popular save for when assignments were due.
As a young Knight, he undertook a broad range of the Order's work. After his first couple of years, however, he served a period of tutillage under the pacifist leaning Master Areos, mostly engaged in research in the academy on Ilum or on field expeditions.
For the past ten years he has been on an anthropological mission to a planet with non space faring population. He became stranded as a result of mechanical failure without communication with the rest of the Order. For this reason he avoided the Fall of Tython and now returns to a very changed galaxy.
ATTRIBUTES:
Mental abilities far outweigh physical ones. At that, they are theoretical/intellectual abilities rather than pragmatic know-how.
Not strong or fast, but resilient.
SKILLS:
Fluent in most space faring languages.
Can just about defend himself with a lightsaber against wild beats or drunk thugs.
Trained himself more in fine telekinetic control and healing than grand feats of strength in the Force.
