So... Girl Meets World was cancelled.

After a phenomenal 3 seasons, the Boy Meets World sequel/spin-off Girl Meets World has been canceled by Disney due to low viewership. This is extremely devastating for fans of the old and new show, but was sadly expected, given that season 4 was not announced as part of Disney's 2017 summer or fall lineups, and also the failed transition to Freeform. Now, this doesn't mean the Boy Meets World/Girl Meets World Universe is over, it's still currently the property a multi-billion-dollar-company. I'm sure something with spring forth from the franchise in the not-so-distant future. There is already talks of a movie or two to finish the current Girl Meets World story, and a Boy Meets World reboot in the very early stages of development, though there has been no confirmation, there has been conflicting reports on whether Disney intends the series to be a cartoon or live-action. Though dispited these rumors, Rider Strong (who played the character Shawn Hunter in both shows) has stated the Girl Meets World story ends with the Season 3 finale. Titled Girl Meets Goodbye, the finale was originally meant to be the 30th episode of season 3, but was pushed up to episode 21 and production on rest of the episodes were canceled so as to have a more streamlined story. You know, I think my favourite was actually the ending scene with Mr. Feeney in the original series. It was just really touching.
