NEW ALDERAAN, OUTSKIRTS OF CAPITAL CITY, LOCAL TIME: 0321 AM

Alderaan held a special place in Roman's heart, considering that the Antilles family had descended from the original planet prior to its demise, he felt a certain lineage and entitlement when the Empire conquered the new planet. It was his destiny he reasoned to himself, and he would do everything he could to see the new Imperial regime succeed. Knowing that there were still pockets of resistance scattered through the countrylands, the ambitious Champion led an expedition into the outskirts to exterminate them.

Roman knelt behind several brushings, peering through a binocular lens at what appeared to be a fortified stronghold. The resistance' leader was housed within this complex along with several armed security and personnel. Whispering into his comlink, he spoke. "Lieutenant...get ready to engage..." Within moments, three armed droid tanks rolled out from cover, blasting into the walls with their explosives to create a thunderous rainstorm of debris and shrapnel. The ensuing chaos was further heightened by three platoons of Imperial Assault Corps charging directly into enemy territory to engage with the hostiles.

"Let's go.." Roman said to his other SIth companion, "We'll secure the entry perimeter and force our way into the compound." His armored figure stood to its full height and pressed off with its feet. The durasteel combat suit shimmered in the midnight light, as the Sith Champion sprinted towards action. Dark envelop of force energies wrapped around his form as the crimson lightsaber screamed to life in his right grip.

New Alderaan was just another planet added to the Empire's ever-growing regime and power – or so it was to Luwalhati. But she had accepted a mission that required her to be on the planet, and so did the soles of her high-heeled booted feet touch New Alderaanian ground.

She wore no armor today for she had none, just a simple black ensemble that made her blend into the night. Her glasses, hair, and white mask could be well against her, though she paid it no heed for hers and Champion Antilles' mission was simple: to eliminate what remained of the resistance that stubbornly resisted the Empire's rule.

Her current rank gave her little to none power over the Imperial Assault Corps (or so she convinced herself) so she instead focused on the main mission instead. A polite nod was her only response to the Champion and then he was off. Astounded by his show of speed and control of the Force, Lu only snapped out of her admiration a second later and quickly followed suit, letting the Force wrap and augment the strength of her legs so she could hopefully catch up to the armored and masked Champion.

When Champion Antilles' lightsaber ignited hers didn't follow suit. There were four guards patrolling the perimeter and when they saw the red glow of a Sith's lightsaber they prepared to shoot the pair. Lu, however, had prepared for blaster fire before one of the guards who chose to riddle her with blaster shots. She stretched out a hand and concentrated on focusing the dark energies of the Force around said guard's neck, then closed her hand tight into a fist. The guard's neck broke before they could pull the trigger.

The guard had no recourse, life flashed before his very eyes as his neck was violently crushed into pieces by the merciless acolyte. Roman himself grinned underneath the veil of his durasteel helm; he had noticed the acolyte display no hesitation in taking her enemy's life. Ruthless cruelty, it was her first test, for she was showing the intrinsic characteristics of being true sith. Roman continued with his full sprint, twirling his lightsaber in a clockwise rotation to deflect several incoming blaster bolts.

He roared out in anger, channeling his rage and hatred as it granted him strength and focus. Eyes flickered to a crimson hue with dark sided corruption, the force pulsated across the surface of his left grip as he lashed it outwards and yanked two soldiers towards him. Pressing off his feet, he leaped into the air and slashed the saber in a horizontal angle to bisect both bodies at the torso level. Burnt half corpses shattered to the ground while the fourth guard charged forward only to be grasped in a tightened necklock by the Champion. Crackling of bones and spine could be heard as his body was trampled like an accordion, deposed onto the ground as the worthless scum it represented.

Roman looked overhead as the array of jet troopers filled the skies with fumes of their jetpacks. Blaster fire erupted in their vicinity along with thermal and plasma grenades. A mechanized laughter echoed from the champion, holding his saber out defensively as he glanced at the ensuing fray before them.

"Come Acolyte, I believe the leader of this resistance will be most thrilled with our presence..." He chuckled and advanced forwards, the hulking armored figure continued to tear through enemy ranks as he moved towards the Barracks.

Her first kill for the duration of the mission had gone smoothly, though Lu felt like she had to do more. To contribute to the success of their mission. And so as Champion Antilles made his kills and at the arrival of the jet troopers, the Acolyte's own lightsaber slid from its holter and into her waiting hand.

Lightsaber combat still was not one of her strongest suits yet, but at the very least none of the fodder above her and the Champion wielded one. Lu blocked blaster bolts with her saber and dodged a thermal grenade aimed right at her before stretching her free hand upwards at the offending trooper. Using the Force she let it wrap around the trooper's waist before yanking him mightily towards one of his comrades, causing the pair to suddenly crash. She ignored the pair when she heard Champion Antilles' call her and followed him suit.

"Y-Yes, Master."

The Acolyte attempted to match the Champion's speed but found herself outmatched. Still she pushed onwards determinedly, lightsaber cutting through flesh and bone as the armored Sith wrought havoc amongst the enemy ranks. Although she slightly dreaded one's presence (because to her she was still an Acolyte who needed to further improve herself) Lu was a little curious as to why no Jedi made an appearance to protect the rebel leader. They were like phantoms to her, the Jedi – always seemingly showing up even in a Sith-occupied planet.

This currently was fortunate, it seemed. No Jedi meant no hindrance to finding and eliminating this resistance's leader. The troopers were just pebbles in her way– no, in the Champion's way. Lu knew that she was just clean-up crew, though still a useful one at that she made sure. The closer they got to the barracks the more bodies the pair of Sith left behind them. A trooper valiantly defended the barrack's entrance but eventually found himself pinned to the barracks' door itself, Lu's lightsaber sticking out of his chest. Though after throwing it mightily at the trooper as if it was a spear, the Acolyte had deprived herself momentarily of her best defense against blaster bolts.

A red bolt skimmed by Lu's left arm, singing through her suit and burning skin and muscle. Under normal circumstances she would begin to flee even before the fighting could begin – even more so now that she had acquired a wound. What if she got killed? Where would all her current knowledge go?

The Acolyte briefly glanced over to where Champion Antilles felled one enemy after another as he neared the barracks. What would the older Sith say about her if she fled now out of necessity to keep her 'knowledge' intact?

A resigned grunt slipped past her lips and Lu honed in on the Champion's direction. When they reached the barracks' entrance Lu retrieved her saber from the dead trooper, ignoring the way the corpse slid down like a puppet cut off of its strings. She might not like conflict but she was Sith, and she could only do so much avoiding it.

While the other pair of Sith entered the barracks aggressively from the front, Caelian had sneaked in via a smaller, less guarded entrance that served the small maintenance and supply crews from the nearby market. Earlier in the night, he had been smuggled into the rebel base with the assistance of a local collaborator, whom wisely chose to keep his loyalties with the new regime instead of the old foolish lot. The hours having ticked by and getting closer to the start of the operation, Caelian broke free of the narrow compartment that he had been hidden in amongst other similarly sized containers.

Caelian moved silently through the shadows, he knew that his objective would be immeasurably more difficult if he lost the element of surprise, the enemy would know that they were under attack from the front but for a short period of time they would have no idea that their security had already been compromised. After the take-over of the planet, the Sith had seized numerous documents and holo's that would prove most useful in this operation, amongst them was the compound's achilles heel.

In the event of attack, a section within the compound was able to lock itself down from the outside world and was provisioned to last for months while isolated. A small flaw in the design meant that a single person could crawl into the air vents from one building to enter another and, with some improvisation, find one's way down into the target. If he was successful, the enemy would be forced to surrender to the superior Sith assault.

Caelian checked his equipment once over before moving into position to enter the air vent, his light armor and lightsaber would be all he needed to complete the objective today. A tremendous explosion rocked the building right on cue as the Sith begun their attack. He was on the clock now and there was little room for error both in his sabotage and in the main attack being carried out. Confident in the plan, he pressed forward along the route that he had committed to memory hours earlier.
