Slade Fett's First Plot

Plot Outline Submission Template:

1. Slade Fett will join Jareth Sharl's group of Exiles and work his way into the CEO position of the company FyreTech

2. Adobi-Wan Kenobi, Vulcan, Handyman, Hugh Capet, possibly TheBrokenMadMan.

3. Serenno, Coruscant

4. Thread 1: Slade meets with Jareth Sharl and a few others in group on Serenno, and discuss the Shadow Collective over dinner; Slade joins the group.

Thread 2: Slade asks the Shadow Collective to aid in his aquisition of FyreTech Industries, noting the benefits of the group controlling the company. They plan the following threads.

Thread 3: Jareth invites the CEO of FyreTech, Daryn Liztto, to Serenno to discuss plans for a factory there. Daryn and Jareth are "attacked" by a pair of assassins but "protected" by Slade, starting a friendship between the two.

Thread 4: After a bounty hunter working for the Hutts (one of the Exiles in disguise) steals the designs for a new blaster rifle from FyreTech's office on Serrano, Slade goes after him/her and retrieves the designs, further strengthening his bond with Daryn.

Thread 5: Daryn's senior vice president, Gregario Staen, is accused of embezzlement (with fake, planted evidence, which will be the majority of the thread), and after Slade "discovers" the crime, his friendship with the CEO gets him the job.

Thread 6: Daryn is finally assassinated by a pair of Exile assassins on Coruscant; Slade is "too late" to save him, but "kills" the attackers in revenge; he becomes the CEO of FyreTech, progressing with a large weapons and armour factory on Serenno.

5. To take over the weapons manufacturing company FyreTech for the benefit of Slade and Jareth Sharl's group of Exiles.

6. The CEO of FyreTech, Daryn Listto, I assume will need to be played by a mod, but I'm not sure. His second in command will probably need to be played by a mod, along with some security for the Serenno offices (stealing designs) and Coruscant (assassination and planting embezzlement data).

Hey there, @Dark Lord Kyle!

Unfortunately, claiming ownership of a company would require both an NPC organization write-up and your character to be Level 2, making this plot a lot more complex than you might realize.

Hey @Deviant! Thanks for that information; I imagine the organization write-up wouldn't be too hard, but other than that should I wait on this plot until Slade is level 2?

Yes, you probably should. Or at least hold off exactly claiming the company until you hit Level 2, because there's nothing wrong with starting the plot now. At least, to me.

If you'd prefer to just hold it off, though, I can always reject this and you can re-submit it later, just to keep the other submissions organized.

That actually sounds like a good idea. I think, if you'll let me, I could start the plot now but wait for the final thread until I'm level two. Sound good?

Well, following that route isn't exactly recommended, but it's legal in my book.

Needless to say, you will have to submit that NPC organization for approval first, just so you don't find out it's against the rules or something when you're already halfway through the plot.

Better safe than sorry, after all.
