The Nameless One was just coming over the black rock mountains. Ahead of him was a red headed Sith. She hadn't spoken to him and the Nameless One had no cause to speak to her. Her life force was interesting to the Nameless One. It glowed red with patches of darkness mixed within it. It was similar in appearance to the lake of lava, he now walked next to. While most would be weary stepping upon the banks of a lava river, the Nameless One appreciated to feeling of warmth that it gave off.
The Nameless One regarded the Life-force of the woman again. It moved much like the lava did as well. It kind of flowed around her physical form. At first the Nameless One thought it moved slowly, but as he began to follow it's movements, he noticed how fast it really went.
The Nameless One had encountered very few life forces similar to hers. They typically belonged to angry and crazed people. The Sentient Nightmare viewed these types of people as interesting, but after eating one or twenty of them, found them to be the cause of a significantly upset stomach. They had never been particularly filling, nor did they taste but mediocre. For these reasons, and because he tended to enjoy their company for the short bursts of it that they gave, he had decided he would never again eat the brain of somebody with her style of life force.
Another sith was also present. His Lifeforce was different, but no more desirable to consume than the other. His life force appeared as a thin and confined film that seemed to envelop the other sith. He had seen this in many beings. It tended to suggest one who prefers to stay to themselves. It changed in color from deep red to dark black like the rock the Nameless One walked upon.
Every once in awhile the thin film would flare up in a spike of activity. The Nameless One wasn't quite sure what this meant. He had found it in several different beings. It represented that the being had a quality about them that conflicted with their usual nature. This other Sith would have flavor if the Sentient Nightmare consumed him. Still though, he would be mostly bitter and his probable lack of fond memories in comparison to his probable abundance of unpleasant ones would make for an unbalanced meal that would quickly leave the Sentient Nightmare hungry again.
The physical form of the man was something of it's own altogether. He had a mechanical red eye and a silver arm. These made him look like he could fit the role of a super villain. What would sell the role, however was his face. It was still as if it had been carved in stone, and the Nameless One was glad he hadn't wanted to try and eat him.
Now, the Sentient Nightmare was coming to the top of the mountain where the woman already was. The lava lake flowed over the top and spurted into a magnificent jet of falling fire. The image struck powerful awe in the Nameless One. He would remember the way the mouth of the lake he was next to spewed over the dark rock and down into a deep valley.
It met the lava in the valley with such a force that there was constant orange-yellow froth at the base of the falling lava waterfall. In the center of the lava was a thick onyx column. The sharp naturally caused cut of the black stone, reflected some of the yellow glow of the lava. It ascended several meters and widened as it did, so the apex was a circular mound of rock more then wide enough to accommodate the mining facility that the Nameless One. Several durasteel walkways connected the mining facility to the separated mountains in a variety of spots. The bridges connected at points all the way around the facility, making it appear somewhat like the spoke of a wheel.
One such bridge connected to a spot some meters below their current position. A steep trail was cut in the rock that led to the spot below where this bridge connected. Now, the Nameless One found he had cause to speak to the woman.
"Greetings," he said telepathically with his gravelly voice in the minds of the redheaded sith and the mechanical sith "I am the Nameless One. Do you wish to have council regarding our approach, or shall we simply proceed and improvise along the way? Either way, I would like to ask you not to kill those that I leave maimed. I assure you I will take care of them after the mission is completed."
