Translucent eyes watched the Sith careen forward in her bedraggled suit, her every stride explicit yet brutal as she shoved them out of her path. Her outcry was clamorous, a gorgeous and daunting mix of thunder. If she was thunder, Levi was certainly lightning: a sharp whirl around with his blade carved into the two other soldiers, precisely before his gaze turned to his colleague dicing the guards at the rear. He granted no time in complimenting her vicious blows, and instead followed his strikes by a leap down the stairs now tainted by the bodies of the escorts. Why had they so adamantly refused to surrender? Defeat was imminent, inevitable, and in no good taste for the last wad of shit that was the government.

The Republic wretches swarmed the chamber, in turmoil as those that had wisely aligned themselves with the Sith hammered the entrance. It was the perfect opportunity, and he recognized Eve take it upon herself to deliver a prevailing wave of the force, rocketing several men into the air. Unlike her, Levi alternatively secured the barricaded doors with a tremendous pull of the force, enough to give way for the insurgents outside. The mob of them poured into the room: some met the unsightly hail of laserfire, and others met the rods of hawkish guards. Two fronts had opened up to the final throng of the soldiers, and with this their end was assuredly at it's finale. Yet another issue was at hand, the one boiling outside in the city streets in a condescending roar. Fortunately for him, a group of civilians huddled together in a shielded corner. No doubt that they were a detail of the previous, pro-Republic administration... and ones with quite familiar faces.

"Aren't you cute." Levi cackled, cutting down a number of marines while he made his way to the citizens. It had to be the very head of state he saw in the unarmed bunch, and on such an assumption, he found what could bring the world to it's measly knees.

The doors before her tore open, the outside combatants wanting in were suddenly freed of their obstructive barrier and allowed to reign hell upon the guard inside. The first wave met with heavy casualties, the republic prepared for the assault better than the attackers. The door being torn open a surprise for both parties. Screams and cries filled the room, the assorted sounds of battle slowly drowning out for the Echani as she sliced her way through combatant after combatant. The plasma of her blade nullifying their basic armor and cutting through flesh. Her primary objective was to remove as many defensive emplacements to help the incoming assault, to help them survive and ensure their victory. Her eyes spotted the only unarmed group in the building, but also spotted her partner. A smile spread across her features, she had enough confidence in him to know the conclusion to their fate.

The final pieces were falling together and there was little else to achieve. The silencing of the government left the civilians and militia to rebuild it all from the ground up. With the Sith having supported their actions and even helped put their plan in place, surely they would find their diplomatic status more favorable for the Brotherhood. A foothold on the planet meant they were one step closer to their overall plans, expansion didn't come easy. The Echani launched herself into the ruckus, the swarm of republic and rebels covering the entrance as they fought to clear the remainder of the building. Her armor serving a beacon of hope for those who had stood behind her earlier. The crimson of her blade carving limb from body.

And from every limb carved by the crimson blades of the duo, they came a stride closer to reaching triumph. The final guards crumpled into the floor, mere rag dolls to the strength of the Sith. Cleaved armor and cold arms fell loose as fear replaced the air in their lungs. The garrison was meeting it's end, so would the pack of Republic dogs and their worthless hopes of such a government on this jagged world. Levi approached the huddled group of civilians, eyes fastened to the man he knew as the mundane leader. One stranger jumped up to block his approach, only to be cut down in a foul, red incision. The last of the guards were dead, and the rebels cheered in silence as Levi dragged the chief of state from the disheveled room. At first, the man barked curses, taunts, and a variety of petty insults. Up until the two reached the gates of the citadel, where the insurgents desperately held back an outraged mob of the city.

The masses dropped into blotched whispers as he emerged with their President at his feet. His velvet blade remained aglow, its whirring heat fluttering through the air. He knew what the people wanted: they wanted them to leave, to leave Thila and to leave in peace. It was a request he, nor the Brotherhood itself, could even oblige. If the people could not understand, or accept, the circumstances before them, Levi would merely have to make them understand.

"Citizens of Thila!" His voice roared across the crowded plaza, gathering their immediate attention. "It's such a pleasure to see you have all gathered here, but not so much in the way you have amassed. You see, you must understand that this is not something you can pick and choose. The Brotherhood is here to deliver you, and save you from the fraudulence of the Republic. And there is no other side of the coin here, whether or you like it, or not. You may rise up and try to quell this onslaught, but you will fail. And you will die, just as the man before you will."

Levi pitched his saber down, severing the mans spine in two. The cord was cut, and the last hope for Republic rule tumbled down the grisly stairs with their corpse.

The insurrection was over. Thila surrendered to their inevitable occupation, and even though splinter groups rose in some desolate regions, there was no stopping the Sith.

OOC: Shitty end post, but that should wrap up this mission, I'd say.
