[Sith Mission] Excavation of the Ruins

[Xivilli]

Xivilli had a smile on his face as he got off the shuttle, his attire slightly more armored this time around, but his lightsabers were still on his hips. The Pureblood and his fellow Acolyte, the cyborg Xylonic, were here to investigate the disappearances of some archaeologists inside some old Temple erected by the Sith long ago. Part of him wondered if he was descended from any of them, but dismissed the thought. What did it matter?

The smile was lost after a few minutes, as the Pureblood's senses were extended. He felt life all around him, more than he'd ever felt before, as well as the Dark Side. Their target was the Eastern Temple, built by the Massassai long ago. There was a comlink on Xi's belt, and he checked to see if it was functional before looking to his comrade for this task.

This would be interesting.

 

[Xylonic]

xylonic nodded toward his pureblooded comrade in recognition of him. xylonic and him had after all been signed up for the same mission so of course they needed to work together in order to get this done right and precise. though the sith squabbled amongst themselves a lot xylonic was willing to work along with this acolyte as they had trained together once. he looked around the eastern temple reaching out in the force to sence for lifeforms and scaning the plane with his cybernetic eye to precisely see what had gone on in the temple. after al sith spawn were reported here and xylonic knew this was not all to good as he had read about sithspawn in the sith archives. sithspawn were nearly invisible as the creator often only made slight modifications to the creater so the maker would not die to his own creation. xylonic continud to scan the area and saw nothing he then turned to his comrade.

"so where do you want to begin?" he asked

Xivilli thought for a moment, not letting his senses fall. They went missing inside the Eastern Temple, so we could easily go in from the front entrance. However, such an approach may be unwise... we could look for a secondary entrance, but that might waste time... Let us go in from the front, but tread carefully and not lower our guard. If there are any creatures here, they'll be inside there, waiting."

Xivilli grabbed his lightsabers and kept them in his hands, though he did not activate them. He kept his Senses on high alert and took slow, cautious steps towards the stone entrance. He did not relish the idea of his flesh being peeled from his bones.

The massive stone structure opened up into a large room, urns and equipment lining the walls. It was most likely the "base" for the archaeologists before they went missing. Xivilli walked over and read a couple of the notes, just to get an idea of the direction the scientists went, no sense getting lost.

After a minute or two, Xivilli looked to his comrade and said, "They moved towards the center of the construct and down a large staircase, where they found a locked chamber deep below. They said they would try to open the doorway, but that was the last entry. Should we check it out?"

 

[Xylonic]

xylonic looked intently at his comrade as he moved slowly and found the data pad he as well moved slowly with his comrade instead of just standing in the open practically waiting to be attacked. but if something did attack xylonic the beast would not be able to defeat xylonic there is no way xylonic had to much strength. but that wasnt the case instead xylonics companion told him the last log they had found a sealed door way and were going to open it xylonc remembered to times when he read books about cases like this where ancient beasts woke up after be disturbed or having potential prey around them. what ever the case xylonic wanted to investigate this matter so xylonic nodded to his companion and began walking to the center of the construct to find the stairs to lead to the so called sealed doorway on the last log of the datapad.

"whatever is going on here it seems interesting" xylonic said to him self in his thoughts

As they moved through the ruins, Xivilli examined the walls and floors, but kept his senses open to anything around them. It felt like this place was rather well disturbed before the recent disappearances, full of wondrous architecture.

The Pureblood breathed in the Dark Side slowly, enjoying and basking in the fog of it. It was so consuming he wondered if non-Sith and Jedi could even feel it. They found themselves walking and winding in the halls, before Xi stopped. A large, deeply cut set of claw marks in the corner, where the hallway opened to a corridor to the right.

The Pureblood smiled and pointed to them, not making a sound, before taking his first steps down the potentially deadly stone hall.

 

[Xylonic]

As xylonic stepped through the ruins he looked and studied the ancient texts on the wall reading as much ashe could while walking he felt another presence in the force as he and his fellow acolyte comrade were walking down a hallof the temple ruins. xylonic dropped his hand toward his lightsaber and boosted his sences in the force to sence for any dangers coming their way. xylonic activated his lightsaber to illuminate the stone hallway the red crimson blade ignited and the two of them were now walking down. he takes a few steps down the hall sencing for anything waving the blade of his lightsaber to illuminate the areas he couldnt see with either his cybernetic or organic eyes.

Xivilli kept his lightsabers deactivated, and also did his best to mute his presence in the Force, though it was not perfect by a long shot. If this killer was here, and a Sith Spawn, it would most likely hunt through the Force, and two Acolytes would be perfect, tasty blips on it's radar.

The Pureblood stayed close to Xylonic, knowing they'd need each other. As he found a doorway into a room, which held a staircase, the Acolyte grinned. The grin was taken away instantly as a clawed hand reached out from the doorway from the top, and if not for the Pureblood's reflexes, would have taken his head clean off. Igniting his lightsabers for the first time on this planet, the Pureblood swung, but missed, and the creature darted farther inside.

 

[Xylonic]

Xylonic kept his sences up as his companion may want to work together but he was still sith and that means he should be a master of deception. when the two acolytes made it to the door was some claw like had came down and just missed his companions head. xylonic kept his lightsaber lit and ran after the beast after his comrade had failed to kill the beast at that moment. he followed its foot steps until he could no longer here them. he then slowed his pace to allow for his fellow acolyte to catch up to him. xylonic tryed to recall all possible sith spawn he knew of that had claws he came up with the terentatek the chrysalides, the leviathans and the hssiss the leviathan was far to massive in sizeto fit in the temple so that was a option that could be crossed of the list. it also relieved xylonic as if the sith spawn somehow managed to kill him his soul wouldnt be trapped in its skin blisters like if he was killed by a leviathan. xylonic then swung is saber around the dark room searching again with the light of his lightsaber and the force for the sith spawn.
