The Icarus-class star courier’s pristine white hull began to turn a shade of red as it entered the planet’s toxic atmosphere. Inside, a squad of stormtroopers sat in silence, awaiting touchdown. They were there to accompany the Sith in the event that a trio of angry force users wasn’t enough to “convince” the population of Gand to respect Imperial rule. It may have been unnecessary, but it was an effective mental image to burn into the psyches of the insectoids.
“Just a few minutes to the capital.” The pilot called over the ship’s PA system. “The planet’s toxic to humans, so get your breathing masks ready.”
Kaarl groaned at the announcement, pushing away his half-eaten Nerf steak he had been enjoying in the ship’s empty mess hall. He stood, grabbed his shocktrooper helmet, and slid it on his head. It sealed with a hiss. Checking his vitals to make everything was working correctly, he unholstered his lightsaber and stomped his way towards the passenger bay. When he arrived, he braced himself against the side of the hull and prepared for the disembark.
“Time to fix this bug problem.” He said aloud to no one in particular. His stomach was full and he was ready for some post-meal entertainment.
