Unnamed settlement, Dathomir
It had taken a few days, but Kaye had managed to track down one of the smaller Nightsister settlements, and some careful usage of the smaller scout droids in the Empire's arsenal had allowed for some easy and safe reconnoitering of the area. Having identified a target and a likely location to spring their trap, she had finally summoned her companions for this little expedition.

They had each snuck in on their own, using stealth and subterfuge to slip into the now Mandalorian planet without drawing much attention to themselves, and Kaye had sent them the location and time to meet up. A few clicks out from the Nightsister settlement, this seemed to be some sort of sacred location for the witches, as they visited it in smaller groups on a semi-regular basis to carry out some sort of ritual. They came in their pairs, or threes, and sometimes even alone. She had spent some time studying those patterns and was fairly sure that she had identified a window of opportunity where they might be able to ambush a single witch making the trip all on her own.

Her ship was hidden away nearby, ensuring that they would be able to make a quick exit once they had captured their query. But till it was needed it would stay hidden away, as would she, dressed as she was in preparation for the operation at hand. A dark, reddish cloak covered her entire form, making her blend in with the environment while also hiding the armor and weapons that lay beneath it.

"It's time," she whispered over the comms to her companions, who she knew were similarly hidden away along the perimeter of the ritual area, "anyone spot an opening, make a move and the rest will back them up."

Any moment now, the nightsister would be emerging from the woods into the clearing.

He wasn’t thrilled about being here, not when he considered all he knew about Nightsisters. They despised men, and there had been stories about men being tortured and killed if found. He couldn’t tell what was rumor and fact, but he wasn’t excited to find out either. Nevertheless, there was no denying the lure of the power they had, and even he could benefit from it.

Edin hadn’t worked with the two Sith before, but he had no doubt they would be efficient at their job. He was light on his feet, wearing simple black armor that didn’t make it obvious he was a Sith. At most, he appeared to be a mercenary for hire. His twin sabers were on his hips, but he also brought a vibroblade with him to blend in better.

Edin was crouched behind a boulder, masking his signature in the Force to the best of his ability. As Kaye announced it was time, Edin sighed, “I hope you’re right about this,” He grumbled, watching for any movements, “I wouldn’t put it past you two to ditch me if they capture me,” Edin knew how Sith operated, and ultimately it was everyone for themselves.

After a moment, he could see some movement up ahead. It was a nightsister, but she wasn’t alone. There was another one flanking her, and they were angrily arguing about the Mandalorian presence on the planet. Edin tried to gauge how best to strike, deciding that he would wait till they drew a bit closer.

Aadya had been researching the Nightsisters and their magick for some time now. She found it endlessly fascinating and had long hoped for an opportunity to learn it for herself. That opportunity had finally presented itself when a Crusader named Kaye Antares had came looking for allies, she had plan to get to Dathomir to kidnap one of the witches.

Aadya considered it a pretty solid plan all things considered. The longer they stayed on the planet trying to convince the witches nicely to teach them, the higher the chance that some mando scum came sniffing around and interfering with their plans. Aadya had taken extra precautions when arriving on world, going to lengths to assimilate and appear to just be another spacer passing through.

Arriving to her choice of hiding position near the ritual site, Aadya was hiding about teen feet up in tree, its thick foliage and lower branches concealing her quite well. "Copy." Aadya responded, the voices of her partners coming across the comm. She couldn't help but snicker silently at Edin's remarks. "Oh, I'm not that cruel. What the Nightsisters would do to a man they found intruding on their territory is a torture no one deserves." She was being a little cheeky but Aadya also wasn't lying, the witches were not known for their acceptance of men.

As the two Nightsisters came into view, Aadya waited until they were maybe three or four meters from her location. She knew that Edin and Kaye would be near and around where she was, so they likely wouldn't be too much further away than that either. Reaching out with the force, Aadya would wrap its tendrils around one of the Nightsister's throats. "I'll hold one by the throat, you two figure out what to do with the other."

Kaye only smirked at Edin's remarks, wondering what he must have heard about either of them to be worried about them leaving him behind. She was about add onto Aadya's response when she too noticed the new arrivals. Arrivals, in the plural. That wasn't what she had expected, this complicated things. But they were Sith, and three of them, this was still well within what they should be able to handle on their own.

As Aadya sprang into action, Kaye pulled her DH-7 into her right hand while opening herself up to the Force and holding her unlit lightsaber in her other hand. She flicked the blaster over to its stun setting as she jumped up from her hiding spot and took aim at the one that Aadya had sprung the attack on. Aadya's plan had been good, it would be easier to take one out if two of them could team up against her, but Kaye had other plans. If two against one was good, three against one was even better. Besides, they still had the element of surprise, and Kaye hedged her bets on that giving her a moment or two act after Aadya's opening salvo.

"Keep the other one busy for a moment," she shouted to Edin as she began firing at the immobilized witch, "let's get this one out of the picture." She quickly fired off a few shots at the witch, her body going limp as three stun bolts slammed into her. Kaye had a self-satisfied smile on her face and was about to turn her attention towards the other witch when she felt a tendril of something wrap around an ankle and yanks her feet out from under her. She slammed down to the ground hard, her breath knocked out of her. Lying flat on her back, she could only look to the side as the other Witch came stalking towards her, seething anger in her eyes, green tendrils of power dancing around her hands.

This one seemed ready for battle, and not in the slightest unfazed by who she faced.

When Edin heard Aadya’s answer, he paused, “Wait… those rumors are true?” It was difficult to keep the concern out of his voice. He had no time to clarify before the two nightsisters came into view. He heard Kaye’s directions and was quick on the move, gathering the Force to himself to dispatch the second witch at once while the ladies handled the other.

The second witch was already on the move, yanking Kaye down and stalking towards her. Edin had his saber drawn by now and dashed towards her, swinging it out in an arc from the woman’s side. She shrieked and jumped to the side, but not before the saber grazed along her hip. This would give Kaye plenty of opportunity to recover.

Unfortunately, this meant that this had turned into a fight that caused a ruckus. It was only a matter of moments before reinforcements arrived, and they couldn’t afford to get overwhelmed. Edin sent a telepathic message to Kaye at once, “Get the other one down. Now!

The witch launched a push square at his chest, and he was sent flying back. He didn’t fight back against it, launching back but reorienting himself in mid air to land on his feet and skid back. Edin recovered even while skidding, coiling the Force around the woman’s throat to cut off any cries for help she could make. The woman struggled against his hold, and he darted in for another swing at her with his saber.

As soon as the stun bolts slammed into the witch she was strangulating, Aadya let the grip on her throat go. There was no need to potentially kill the Dathomirian by continuing her attack, there was very little reason to believe the stun bolts wouldn't render her unconscious for some time. The witch was wearing little in the ways of armor and Aadya had seen how effective stun rounds could be on the unprotected.

Leaving her position of safety, Aadya dashed over to the incapacitated woman and began tying up her limbs. Aadya started with the hands and put them behind the back, tying them with tight but not oppressive. She moved to the ankles next, and then around the mid thigh.

She wasn't a savant with knots or anything, but Aadya had enough experience tying up and being tied up by partners to know how to tie something that wasn't easy to get out of, even if you struggled mightily. The way the witch was currently bound, she wouldn't really be able to walk - but Edin was big and strong enough to carry the light and lithe Dathomirian over his shoulders like a sack of flour.

For final measure, Aadya took out a piece of cloth and shoved it into the witch's mouth before tying her last bit of rope around her head. They didn't really need the added potential tomfoolery a shouting witch might provide. Turning towards her compatriots who were still tangoing with the other sister, Aadya shouted. "Kill the bitch and lets go! This one's ready for transport."

Aadya started to drag the witch over to some low shrubbery to keep her out of sight. If they couldn't dispatch the other witch fast enough and reinforcements arrived, Aadya didn't want any of them taking off with their haul during the ensuing ruckus.

Kaye had been trying to will her hands to move, to do something to stop the witch that was barreling down towards her with death in her eyes, but in that moment she could barely move, so squarely had the witch smacked her down. But Edin jumped in just in the nick of time, and bought her the time to catch her breath again.

By the time she was able to move and get back to her feet, Edin was well and truly engaged with the witch, and Kaye took heed of his message and started darting towards Aadya and the second witch, only to notice that Aadya had the situation more than handled. THey had their captive, all they needed to do now was deal with the second witch quickly enough to get away before more of her friends showed up hearing the commotion. She holstered her blaster and pulled out her lighsaber as well, moving towards the witch, but off to one side so as to flank her.

Kaye was moving in to support Edin, who was about to strike at the witch again, when she suddenly responded by sending a burst of green lightning flying from her hands, straight at Edin, and when she noticed Kaye raising her other hand to fire off a burst at her as well. Kaye barely managed to bring her lightsaber up in time to catch the crackling burst of energy.
