One thing that Crix had not accounted for when clinging to the back of his latest and most lovely of crushes? The practicalities of a partner with a lot of hair. Only the fact that he was wearing a helmet stopped Crix from being whipped repeatedly in the face with the hair like some kind of all-natural cat-o-nine tails.

Not a deal breaker but he made a mental note that being the big spoon might come with hairy consequences.

Eh he was thinking it might be worth it cus even fully clothed he was finding himself enjoying the ride just as an excuse to hold the older Jedi from behind. Still, when they got onto the ship he made sure to dismount quickly. He didn’t want to make Sevrin think he was too eager to cling onto him after all… might have the opposite effect if he was too quick so he tried to act casual.

That his acting skills weren’t that great didn’t deserve comment.

“You don’t need to worry about me Sevrin – I know not to get too rough and ready.”

… GODS had he actually just karking said that? Oh kark he was not only a dweeb but a creepy dweeb too. Kark he was going to have to just hope that Sevrin was just as clueless about his terrible flirting skills as he was about the signals he was putting out.

Please don’t notice me Senpai vibes were strong right now.

“Y-yeah I’m just gonna send a quick message to someone. Nothing that’ll ping up as suspicious don’t worry, just a little um… personal thing is all.”

He would quickly duck out and shoot off a text message to Scooter and Lancer to move the ship to Dantooine so it wouldn’t look out of place that he needed a lift to the green planet. With the message sent, he took a moment to check himself in a mirror. Were his horns too pointy? Not pointy enough?

Nah the horns were fine – it was the teenager underneath them acting like a karking virgin that was the bloody issue!

“Reporting for duty, captain.”
He joked as he came back through with a nervous grin, “Thanks for the ride.”

Moving into the cockpit, he would sit himself down in the co-pilot seat and start work on the navigational data. He… wasn’t going to try and lend a hand at the actual flying. Crix actually kind of liked Sevrin and crashing the ship they were in because he tried to help flying would probably put a dampener on things.

Starship crashes were not sexy.
