I'd like to talk about some kind of propoganda on our part. I think we need to poublicly state some things like; our change in upping our defenses and security, our public welcome to the Mandalorians, an inspiring speech that says "Look out, here we come!", and some general plans for the NJO (and therefore the GA). This would be an IC thing that would show in our side's lives.

I also think that we should state some false preperations/action/plans. We should offset the Empire's overweighted awareness and even the scales while we have the chance.

I believe that Brandon has made the best possible choices for our current Council, so now the NJO base needs to see us working and planning. Change starts here, in this private board. And that will inspire our base to flourish from the inside at all levels of the structure. I understand that it's a holiday and people will be back soon, which is why I am putting this up now so that we can start planning for future actions and projects.

What do you guys think? I know there are plans passing back and forth and so on, but we should at least be somewhat on the same page as a unit. If necessary, I will come up with a write-up of such an announcement to present to all of you here.

I agree, I think there should be some sort of official announcement/statement to show we haven't fallen yet and we are back on our feet: GA, Jedi, and Mandalorians (which by the way, has the alliance with the Mandalorians been official yet?).

There will be some stuff coming soon. I'm currently writing up a big plan of action for everyone here.

Stuff that's antagonistic towards the Sith will come later, since we don't want to end their generosity in not attacking or anything, but we definitely will start building up enthusiasm.

I'll also be putting up 2 big Jedi gathering threads here soon. More on that in the next day or so.

(which by the way, has the alliance with the Mandalorians been official yet?).

I'd like to have a meeting in regards to where we will be putting defensive measures and what planets.

Have a plan in regards to new planetary shield generators but we can't have a infinite amount because of cheapness reasons so.....

Well, I'd say that our remaining planetary Temples should be included. But as for security, I was thinking along the lines of procedure to catch anyone sneaking in like before. But if we're designating certain planets, I might suggest some key ones closer to the NJO/NSI boarder to make it more difficult to push into our territory.

Already have a procedure set up in my head for defending our temples, obviously just need to get it down so it's in the rp realm.

And in regards to the shields then Yeah, I agree we need to decide which world's to defend.

Perhaps, just as we designate which worlds to protect, we should designate which worlds to make cozy for the Sith. If we make certain cities or places within our territory welcoming for the Sith, we might add predictability to our side and designate spies in those places. If we keep it between pms, or tell an admin where the spies are hidden but not any other, then we might be able to take advantage of a lack of precaution on the Sith's part once in that city or on that world. We could lay claim to any information poorly passed?

Terribly sorry I haven't gotten it to you yet. There was a really good resource with Daoism, Buddhism, and Confucianism philosophies on it that were really helpful to me, but they were part of my eastern religions class and the professor took his website (which linked to it) offline now that the semester is over. I have to find that resource again.

Also, I'm going to post a status report, either tonight or tomorrow afternoon, in the Jedi OOC board to let everyone know what we're working on. I'll go role by role for all of us so everyone knows we're all working on something.

There's no set time frame. The Sith are focusing on other things for now, and eventually me, Xeno, and Sreeya will figure out when it ends.

Yeah.

another thing was in deciding which world's to defend we should make a big show and dance that these world's are slaughter houses for armies and fleets.

If we can channel the sith into attacking certain points then we can have stuff waiting for them.

The Core Worlds should definitely be that way. We should also have presences along all Alliance borders so we can get to border worlds quickly. Where else do you think we should have a strong presence?

I agree. The Sith just attacked our core. They'll be back, workin the outside now. If we have procedure as our defense on the inside, the core worlds, and one of the two possibilities of either hard defense or baited traps on the outside, selected boarder worlds, then we should be lookin good. At least it'd be a start.
