At last, we will have revenge. We have tracked the Claw to an orbital station over Manaan, and the time has come for our elite Agents and Sith to lead the strike against their base of operations. Destroy them utterly, for the enemies of the Empire may not be permitted to live. Expect heavy resistance from the Claw, but do not falter in your execution. Cleanse the station of these rebellious elements and then complete the final objective: insert a computer spike loaded with a program that will implant data we wish the Selkath to see within. Do this, and our effort, our sacrifice to and on this planet will be justified. Do this, and we will gain a measure of security we may deny the traitors who cling to their dusty tomes in the galactic east. Operate with the most extreme of prejudice.

It was to be a trial by fire, she mused having been informed of her assignment, though in truth Talik didn’t expect anything less. There had never been any hand holding among the Sith and she knew her position as a green graduate was going to be no exception. This suited the Twi’lek just fine for this was now her existence; swift orders with no forewarning and off to who knew where. Extreme prejudice the directive had said and she smirked. She didn’t know the Empire had any other kind. Nursing a good case of ‘alien rage’, she reminded herself who her true enemy was. Truthfully she was surprised to be out from under his ever watchful eye. Well, no doubt his talents were required elsewhere.

Arriving at the rendezvous point. She grabbed up her gear and pocketed the datapad which had contained her order for deployment, having committed the limited information available upon her assigned partners for the strike. Names, pictures, and very little details other than their combined objective. Knowing the efficiency with which the Republica operated, she felt confident that their combined talents would be up to the mission. It was your basic 'wake up call' run. Punish the wicked, plant the evidence, and leave the diplomats to coral the foolish back in line. Playing games with their kolto would not be tolerated. The theft either stopped or their status as a colony would be over.

Leaving her one man Crux-Class Star Fighter in the secured docking bay, she moved out to locate her teammates and get the mission under way. Since it was an intimidation gig she wore her Sith Marauder Armour; there was no need to hide what she was on this run. As she strode through the area, the hood of her robe thrown back, its folds billowed about her lithe form to reveal bits of her Imperial Uniform underneath. It was to be the first opportunity to prove that the years spent on her training had not been a waste. So while there was the impetus on success in order to maintain her current position, she experienced anticipation more than dread.

It had already been a number of weeks since the events on Onderon took place, yet Aria was still suffering through the pain of the attack. Every time she closed her eyes, the scene replayed in her head; the mysterious Sith standing there, his eyes growing in surprise, his shoulders slumping as he drearily accepted the fate tumbling towards him, and the noises he made after the grenade exploded. She wouldn't wish the experience on anyone, not even a Jedi. In comparison, Aria had escaped with scratches and flesh wounds. Whilst the mysterious Sith's lightsabers were most likely destroyed in the same barrage of explosions that killed him, she had no excuse. Aria's lightsaber was taken while she slept away the pain.

Now, replacement saber in hand and with a renewed vigor to protect, Aria accepted a position on a mission to Manaan. Although everything would pale in comparison to Onderon, the experience had made her stronger, whether she believed it or not. The ride down from the Aurora, an Audacious-class corvette was not smooth, whoever told her that space travel was simple and easy was clearly a liar, but regardless, they had boarded the secure space station that orbited Manaan. A private docking bay had been located, so they were without contact for now, but it was only a matter of time before blaster fire broke out.

She took the opportunity to approach the other Imperial's who had been assigned to the mission. She only saw one, but approached her none the less. "Twi'lek!" she called out, "Er- Talwek Kalu? Is that your name? I'm Aria Vandeen, we're going to be working together on this assignment together."

She didn't remember her name, how embarrassing.

The Reckoning ⇼ UNSECRET
The thrum of the ship's engines were the only sound in the dark room. A single figure sat on his bed with his legs crossed. Meditation was something commonly associated with the jedi and their attempts at peace. But for the large lean figure that sat in the barely lit room it was a time for focus and control. He was not a brutish thug nor a meek scribe. The red emergency lights were the only thing on at this time. A moment before the ship stopped Hozan opened his equally red eyes. They glowed in the dark until the hybrid acolyte stood up and exited his personal room.

He was not in some fancy shuttle or yacht. It was a plain mynock series light freighter but Hozan was not one for attracting attention to himself. Instead he was here to sow the seeds of destruction. His pilot droid had done a good job parking the ship. He would attend to his personal gear locker and dawn his heavy armor. Today was not a day to be covert. He would be seen one way or another and if he were targeted he did not want to let the weakness of bare flesh to be exploited. In addition they were meant to make a scene. Set an example, which Hozan always did whether he was watched or not. He still wore an ashen cloak that matched his dark complexion. It gave contrast to the gold like shine of the armor underneath.

His ship had been seen as a simple merchant vessel to strangers but the Imperial Republica would know it to be his. That was why it also inhabited the secured hangar for the time being. In addition to his normal equipment he had a vorantikus blaster rifle. The previous owner had no need for it seeing as he was dead. The prospective Dread Lord of Death walked over to the meeting of two young females, one of which was a scarlet skinned Twi'lek. The other, well, she looked human. He stood silently two meters away from the other two as they exchanged pleasantries.

The somewhat awkward mangling of her name drew her attention, effective nonetheless, prompting the Twi’lek to turn to face the approaching woman. She had been called worse and at least she had feigned an honest attempt. It was hardly worth getting offended considering the nature of their current assignment. She greeted the woman in return, ”That is correct, Acolyte Vandeen”. Talik didn’t bother trying to teach the woman how to pronounce her name, it had been her experience that such lessons were rarely well received by the elite species of the Galaxy.

She noted the Natroni approach only to stop a few paces declining to come any nearer. Talik raised her hand in greeting and waved him over, ”And Acolyte Hozan, do please join us.” ’He certainly looks ready to decimate a whole company’, she mused.

Three officers were approaching across the floor of the hanger and stopped at a respectful distance from the trio of Sith awaiting an opportunity to address those that would lead the assault. Time being of the essence, they welcomed the trio at the very first break in their conversation.

The male Cathar was the first to speak, ”Welcome, commanders. I am Captain Rho”, he gestured to the woman to his right who appeared human, ”Lieutenant Blevins and Lieutenant Basko” he concluded by gesturing to the man on his left, yet another human. The Captain spoke with efficiency, direct and to the point, ”Each of us are ready to lead you to the attack teams awaiting your orders to deploy, you will be briefed on the current situation along the way. I carry the data spike and will accompany the force heading to the command station. The team entrusted with this task is expected to face the heaviest concentration of resistance, with the other two providing coverage for the main assault.” He looked to the three of them in turn wondering which one of the Sith would be taking the lead.

Talik, once the greetings were concluded, broke her silence and said, "I will lead one of the support teams" It was the logical placement for a fresh graduate such as herself who had not been blooded yet in war. Folding her hands before her, she waited for Aria and Hozan to take up their roles.
