The Lowhorn
Ko and Vardon had just managed to hop aboard the ship's ramp as it closed. There weren't any lookouts when they charged for the freighter, the Devaronian slavers had apparently expected their defences and captives to keep their attackers occupied for longer than what was really needed. This was quite beneficial to the two allies who could sneak up to a few crates stacked right by the entrance. The crates weren't stacked neatly at all, and had the resemblance of a disorganized heap rather than a stack; most likely because of how rushed the slavers where as they took off, just bringing whatever they could and dumping it at the front before moving on.

Located in a larger room with many walls and smaller rooms inside, the crates which the allies hid behind weren't very secluded, and if a fight were to break out, it seemed quite likely that everyone in the room would be made aware of the fact. Looking down the alleyway to the right, Vardon could see some Devaroinans perhaps 20-30 meters away. The smaller corridor to the right didn't allow for much to be seen in that direction, but soon, footsteps could be heard, prompting the padawan to completely duck in behind the crates quickly. A few voices could be heard along with the footsteps as some people walked by, rounding the corner from the left corridor and continuing in to the right alleyway.

Vardon was dead silent, not moving a muscle as he hid behind the pile of crates together with his ally. The people they were about to attack could only be described as bad, vile and horrid beings. Still, the Thyferran found himself questioning his intents aboard the vessel, were they truly just to bring light to the galaxy and remove the darkness or was it actually to get vengeance on the slavers? Regardless, he was there now, and would see where the force would take him.

By this time, Ko had taken charge several times and proven to make good calls. Galland weren't very fond of how the Kel Dor kept executing people but still felt inclined to trust in his ally - especially in a situation such as this. He looked at the alien for direction, deciding to let him take the lead again. As he took contact with his ally in silence, Vardon slowly grabbed his lightsaber from his belt but refrained from igniting it. Unless told otherwise, he would stick close to his ally and be prepared to defend against any incoming attacks whilst his friend could focus on attacking.
