Mulako did not enjoy being forced to search derelict ships for space parts and treated every creak the old ship made as a threat on his life as he scuttled along, keeping up with the group as they started to climb a large flight of stairs. The ascent was relatively easy for Mulako as his large legs made scaling 4-5 steps at a time a breeze. "I usssed to be a pirate, the captain insssissted that we chassse a ssship into the wreckage against the entire crew'sss advice. Our enginesss malfunctioned and we crassshed into an old crusssier. I managed to essscape with the captain, he wasss quite delicccious." He responded to Vant's question as they reached the top of the stairs.

Paranoia was a dangerous thing.

Gedro had no trouble keeping up with the others. As they ascended and talked about piracy and such, Gedro's mind was wandering...elsewhere. Vants, the captain, seemed all too sure about his payment. There was no way the captain had this much lying around, let alone enough to just start handing credits out by what he has guessed was the hundreds, but may have been more. Gedro had been swindled only once, and it hadn't worked out for the swindler.

Then there was Garoosh, a living mystery. Their first interaction had been him eyeing up Essix, which had already made Gedro uneasy about him. Now, again, he could see the look, the subtle difference in the way he walked. Was he a droid enthusiast, or did he have a more sinister plan afoot? There were droids a plenty here- if he just reprogrammed them or whatever he does, he could take the ship and whatever loot there was to be had.

Finally, and ironically the one Gedro feared the least, Mulako. The giant insectoid that had already been known to eat people in the ten minutes they'd known each other. While it was true that he was intimidating, he was also seemingly the simplest. If he had wanted to eat them, he'd have done so by now. He hadn't been here long enough to begin ulterior motives, a patchwork plot against the whole crew- if he did betray them, it would've been plainly obvious to anyone that it was coming.

Garoosh's datapad had interrupted his thoughts. There seemed to be blinking emanating from the screen, which Gedro assumed wasn't good. Had he sliced the droids remotely from here? Was he detecting incoming threats? He approached Garoosh slowly and asked;

"Hey, uh, your datapad okay? It looked like it's flipping out. Anything we should know about?"

Garoosh's own train of thoughts was derailed by Gedro's question. He blinked a few times before managing a smile.

"Nothing to worry about. It's just detecting some salvageable parts we can use. And looking at these readings, you'll get your payday. If we make it out with everything that is." He wasn't stupid. He knew that there was danger lurking in this ship, he just had no idea what. So far he hadn't detected any life forms besides the crew members around and below him. But as the same time, they hadn't even scratched the surface of this behemoth of a ship. Who knows what was hiding in here? That and there's no way the Anticipation could effectively haul all the goodies he was detecting. They'd need a much bigger freighter to pull that off.

Garoosh's mind started to work a little faster now that he was talking to Gedro. He seemed like a nice guy, he was a good pilot, and he hadn't threatened to kill Garoosh since that warning in the cargo hold. However, he still wasn't sure if he could trust Gedro. Not with his plans anyways.

Captain Vants was a Twi'lek of his word, up to this point, and a man of honor who treated Garoosh with some level of respect. That was more than most star captains gave him. But he seemed irrational, one example being the sudden hiring of the bug pirate. He wasn't sure how the captain would react in situations, meaning Garoosh had to keep his plan to himself.

Mulako was out of the debate. Garoosh could see that the pirate would rather eat each of them rather than search a ship with them. His mere presence put Garoosh out of ease. It was Mulako that caused Garoosh to put his plan into action. He was just waiting for the chance.

"Captain, permission to search this floor." He said to Vants with a slight salute. "I can find the parts we need much faster if I move alone. When I find something, I'll call you."

So far the mission had been a cumbersome bother, in Nagorral's eyes at least. The arrival and subsequent orders by the female Kel Dor had rankled his pride and he could do without the fearful staring by the human girl. At least, he thought it was a female but she didn't quite smell right. To Nagorral's honed nose her scent seemed somewhat similar to Adan, like she wasn't what she looked like. Perhaps a question on the matter would have been forthcoming but he was much to busy trying to keep up with the enthusiastic group on his achy leg.

So far they had been only exploring the place and were unwilling to stop to even allow examination of the possibly worthwhile scrap all around. Which was a infuriating shame, as Nagorral had been eager to acquire some items he needed. It was why he had his knapsack slung over his shoulder and not left on the Wanderer with Riva. Still he walked on, the big Wookiee giving off a near-visible aura of discontent, all the way down the stairs until they came to the door blocking the way.

To his glee, the "girl" had fallen behind quickly and Nagorral found himself no longer at the back of the group. What erased the glee was the offhanded request to break the door down, a common sentiment expressed to his kind. The Kel Dor was a fool, just because he was big didn't mean he could just smash down doors. Luckily, Nagorral had in his position a certain axe made of a very strong material that made this task actually possible. Shooting Nae a glare, Nagorral took his axe in both hands and started chopping at the door. It took over a half dozen blows but the door slowly keeled over and surrendered to Wookiee's strength. Standing back Nagorral let the door fall and swept his palm forward to the group in an unmistakable expression of "after you".

Almost the entire time they were walking Adan had been silent, staring at awe at the great mass of metal they were in. He also felt dismay for so far there search has been fruitless. As Nagorral chopped the door down, "I'll go in front." Adan shoved his way through so he would be in the front, so that if they find anything he would be the first to get it.

“A pirate, eh?” The captain mused. It took a lot of a man to commit to that lifestyle. Killing and pillaging? If things had been different, Mulako might have been on the Echo Sunrise, on the other side of the battle.

“You enjoy that sort of… free lifestyle then?” Vants needed to know what made the mantis man tick, what his views and morals were if he ever wished to be able to trust him. “You willing to do anything for’a good pay?”

All in all, he had to make sure that he could keep everyone in line, and money appeared to be the prize of the day. The only reason why the Anticipation had a crew was because of credits; Gedro was the most vocal about it, but you could tell that the others felt the same. Gomorrah was young and hungry, and Garoosh was the type to go after valuable technological parts.

Speaking of, their Filvian friend was doing just that, fiddling with his datapad, attempting to pick up anything worth taking back to charted space. Asking to continue on this floor alone, Vants gave a nod of approval. “Call if you find yourself in trouble. We shouldn’t be too far off to give you’a hand.”

Motioning everyone else forward, the first team would begin to scale up the next set of stairs. If Garoosh was observant, then he would have noticed something, a quick blink of some sort of technology, only appearing for a split second and gone before a breath of air could leave his nostrils. And the blip was… in the same position as the captain.

“All right, the bridge should be up here.” They came to an open doorway that led into a fairly bare room, though past that was yet another open door, only this one contained the actual bridge, as well as a small squadron of old battle droids who looked as though they were trying to work the ship. “Is it working now?” One of them said in a metallic tone. “Nope, nothing yet!”

The first team positioned themselves in such a way as to peer into the bridge without garnering the attention of the droids. Vants looked to his two crewmates. “How do you want to handle this?”

Down at the bottom of the ship, Adan burst through the busted door past a disgruntled Kel Dor who glared at him with the ferocity of the stars that overlooked Tatooine. "Hey! I didn’t say you could go…” Almost on a tirade but cut short by the wheel of fortune, the second team found themselves surrounded by boxes filled to the brim with stores gone unplundered. Fine carpets, masterful art pieces, antiques, and old texts filled the room. This wasn’t just regular supplies, this was plunder of a long-gone war.

“Look at this! We’re rich!” Nae sang, scrambling about the various shiny objects.

Click click click click click

“Ho boy…” Mumbled the redhead, following suit and wandering about. This stuff was as old as the Clone Wars, maybe older. Walking past a rather large stack of crates, the girl gasped.

Click click click click click

“Guys! Hey, you need to see this!” What had she found, more treasure? No, that was a panicked tone, not one of excitement.

Click click click

Nae rushed over to her distressed crewmate but became just as bewildered at what she was looking at. “What the flack is this?!”

Click click

It was the captain. In some sort of tank filled with an unknown liquid, the captain floated, hooked up with various tubes that fed air and other necessities to his limp body. He and a few other people were strung up in these tubes that looked as if they had been hastily set up in the store room. Nae rushed up to the tank that Vants resided in, palming the glass as if to find a way to free her friend. “Marlow, wake up Marlow! Wake up!”

It could have been the wails of the Kel Dor that brought it, the droid that had wandered into the room. Yes, a single droideka had scuttled in, it’s shields up in preparation for what it had found, intruders. It locked onto Adan first, it’s guns firing up and launching a short volley of fire at the man.

"I enjoy the ability to hunt for my mealsss and the added bonusss of a lucrative sssourccce of income. Morality is for prey, it handicapsss them." Mulako responded to the captain's question as they continued to search the ship. "I'm willing to do anything to earn my keep and mealsss if thatsss what you're asssking." He added in response to the Twi'leks second question before turning his attention back to the task at hand.

Through a few doors lied the bridge which was guarded by more than a couple battle droids. The outdated models looked surprisingly well kept despite their age. Someone reactivated these droids; they were not alone here. The team hid behind the door as the captain asked what the plan of action was going to be. Mulako turned his head and lifted one of his arms to his mouth in a 'Shh' motion as he spoke in a dull whisper, "Wait here, dissstract them onccce I sssignal you." He said before silently creeping towards the nearest battle droid. Mulako enjoyed stalking his prey, organic or otherwise, and every fiber of his body was fine tuned for silently dispatching enemies before they even knew he was there. His wings fluttered softly and arms gently extended into a striking pattern as he crept up behind a droid before swiftly ending it in one fell swoop. The metallic shell lifelessly fell to the floor as the droids head skidded into the middle of the bridge, alerting the rest of the droids as Mulako scuttled out of sight before they could target him. He stared back at his remaining party members signaling them to start making some noise.

It was really quite fortunate that Nagorral had decided to go in last, it probably saved Adan's life. The massive Wookiee had been admiring the riches scattered all around them when Gomorrah's call of alarm had sounded. He had been just as shocked at the strange sight before the group but had still remained somewhat back from the rest of the group and when the droideka had entered the room.

Everything seemed to move in slow motion as Nagorral watched the droid slowly begin to focus on Adan. As the droid aimed, Nagorral grabbed the first thing he could grab, a massive painting of some kind, and flung it at Adan. Hopefully the painting would knock Adan out of the path of the laser death heading right for him. After throwing Nagorral let out several loud growls and charged past the droideka before jumping behind a pile of crates for cover. If he was lucky, that brief sprint and loud noises would have drawn the attention to himself long enough for Adan to find cover.

As Adan charged into the room, he spotted a droideka looking in his direction. It happened too fast for Adan to react, but the droideka aimed and was about to fire right at the time that he felt a hard blow to his head, knocking him down and making everything fuzzy. Once his vision cleared up a couple of seconds later, he saw Nagorral charging at the droideka. Adan saw the droideka start aiming at Nagorral and quickly grabbed his blaster pistol and fired 3 shots, two of which missed, distracting it and giving Nagorral enough time to reach it.

Haven Garrett was out of his element. He knew this, and as his A-wing starfighter came out of hyperspace, he realized just how out of his element he was. The wreckage of ships, more than he could count, lay in front of him. Of course, he had no idea where he was, he was simply on the run. He detached from his hyperspace ring, and started to fly through the metal graveyard.

A veteran bounty hunter, on the run. Yes, and running from the Hutts, no less. He'd been serving them too long, but the Hutts don't let you just walk away. So Haven was half a universe away from them now, in a place they'd never find him. As Haven stared out into the countless abandoned ships, he realized he could make serious profit here. He began to ponder his options, knowing full well there was no way piracy wasn't rampant here. He was good at fighting pirates, but one man can only do so much.

After several moments of flying aimlessly, he realized there was a slight smoulder on one of the ships. A recent firefight, and that meant at least one ship survived, and there may be crew alive with it. Anything willing to fight out here was a threat, and Haven Garrett immediately killed his starfighter's engines, hoping to drift by the giant ship without being noticed. He would have spotted the ship sooner, if it hadn't been pitch black against the darkness of space. He saw the letters on the ship, now that he was truly looking at it. It read, "Anticipation".

But that couldn't be right, the Anticipation was far too famous a ship to be this far out. Unless, of course, the crew had been set upon and killed, leaving the ship to float out here by itself.

The thought crossed Haven's mind to board the ship, but he had to be careful. He didn't want to end up dead.

Garoosh nodded as the captain gave him leave and was about to go, when something caught his attention. For a split second, almost too fast to notice, his data pad blinked a large red dot very close to him. This raised several red flags for him. A dot meant that the data pad had detected some kind of technology nearby that wasn't his own. A red dot meant that the technology had dangerous uses, like military or hazardous material. And the size of the dot was proportional to the size of the tech. The fact that all three of these had appeared at the same time right next to Garoosh was very disturbing. He physically looked in the direction where the dot was, and saw that it was hovering over the group. He frowned and his mind began to work as he watched the group move on. The size of the dot told him that the technology was the size of an ordinary humanoid. He shook his head.

"What are you?" He asked the dot as he started to shuffle down the hallway. He followed the signals of the deactivated droids while also trying to figure out what had caused the dot. He worked through the possibilities. The only cybernetics he knew about was Vant's robotic hand. However, the hand wouldn't have caused that big of a dot. He wanted to think about other variables, but his data pad began to blink with new information. He was nearing a large collection of non-active battle droids. He needed to be careful from this point out. He moved as quietly as he could towards the large room where the droids were residing and peered into the open door.

Racks upon racks of inactive standard battle droids were sitting before him. Each row held about 20 or so droids and they each came already armed with old school blasters. In the very back he saw something very rare; a Super Battle Droid. The broad faced super droid was still in pristine looking condition and stood straight and tall, it's red eye dim to show deactivation. Garoosh's eyes went wide and he forgot about the strange dot from earlier. He knew he had to have the Super. "Come to Garoosh." He said quietly to himself. He slowly crept into the room and, careful to not touch any of the droids, sneaked his way to the side of the Super Battle Droid. He used his data pad and began to splice into the droid's main processor unit, working efficiently and quickly to bring the droid under his control.

Back in the hanger, Data was busy dragging various pieces of a now disassembled Vulture Droid back to the Anticipation. He had managed to break the droid into 6 parts; the head, the four legs, and the torso area. He didn't struggle to move the droid, although it was slow going anyways. He piled the droid's parts into neat organized groups near the Anticipation's cargo bay, waiting until he had a sizable haul to start loading the parts into the ship.

Amoranian darkwood carved into an intricate frame. Rich paint. One moment it embodied a beautiful portrait of a classy blue skinned woman dressed to the nines. Now it was little more than ash, torn to nothing as the droideka’s shots missed Adan and ripped into the artwork. Gomorrah’s mouth went agape. “That was a Loo Vulmi original!”

Wait, that’s not exactly the most important thing right now. “Pull yourself together!” Focus on the droid, the metal killing machine who’s shields were eating Adan’s shots. It was lucky that it didn’t turn its attention to Gomorrah or Nae, still intent on freeing her captain from that glass prison. It instead rotated to follow Nagorral, who was just quick enough to get behind cover before a stream of lasers barraged into him.

The girl did the same, standing behind a tall metal box that looked sturdy enough to take a few shots. It also looked somewhat like a coffin, and if they didn’t end this confrontation soon then one of them might end up inside it on the journey back.

Her rifle was ready, but the girl wasn’t. Practically glued to the safety of her cover, Gomorrah instead listened to the thump of blaster fire that continued to focus on her Wookiee compatriot. Her mind raced. She knew that this would be the perfect time to take a shot, but what would happen after?

BANG

The rifle lunged back into the young one’s shoulder, causing her to stumble back and crash into a pile of boxes. Dazed and floored, she had hoped that the slug she shot had done something meaningful. It did not. Upon reaching the shields, the small metal projectile had dissipated, making it all the more evident that if they wanted to take this thing out then they would have to get it’s shields down.

For Haven Garrett, the frigate that housed the Anticipation would be a dark mystery, although it was clear that there were only two vessels in the hanger. While he might have been able to sneak onto the ship, his landing would surely alert the small pit droid of his presence, and that didn’t even include the astromech that patrolled the Anticipation’s halls. However, they were only droids and ones without combat protocol. What harm could they really be to the seasoned bounty hunter?
...
In the droid storage area, the super battle droid’s hardware would be no match for Garoosh. A bright red lit up the dark room signaling that the hulking robot had sprung to life. The only question that remained was if it would obey its tinkerer. “What are your orders?” It spouted in a bland, synthesized voice. It had appeared that the crew of the Anticipation had one more droid in their ranks.

Haven Garrett had been adrift for several minutes, just quietly waiting for the ship to power up, fire lasers at him, something.

But nothing happened. The ship stayed dark, so Haven lit up his engines and decided to dock. As he pulled into the larger vessel, he wasn't sure of his plan. Haven was good at thinking on the fly, but he knew if there was a crew left, he could very easily end up dead. If this ship had just been attacked, tensions would be high with anyone on board. Haven would like to explain that he isn't there to fight, but he may not have a choice. He set his fighter down in the hanger, and opened the cockpit.

While exiting his craft, he made mental notes. Most of the lights had been powered down, either to save energy or because the power core had been damaged. One of these meant the crew had left the ship and intentionally powered down some lights, the other meant they were all dead. Haven liked these odds, it meant he wouldn't be running into people.

Unless, of course, there were pirates looting the ship. Haven had to consider that option. He drew his blaster, holding it by his side in a stance of non-aggression. He didn't need to trigger the first attack, just be ready in case negotiation wasn't an option. He heard some clattering and whirring in the near distance.

Creeping towards the bay doors, he noted that the sounds were droid-like. Battle droids were a thing of the past, so hopefully Haven didn't find an army inside. As the doors slid open with a pneumatic hiss, he saw a pit droid doing...something. Counting or something. Haven didn't understand droids, that's why he didn't have one. It made navigating his ship more of a manual chore, but he'd rather trust himself.

"Hello little fellow." Haven said slowly and quietly, he didn't want to startle the pit droid or alert potential threats that may be nearby. Haven laid his blaster on the ground, exposing his palms to the droid. It blinked, or would have, if it had an eyelid, but continued on its way, thoroughly uninterested in Haven. Or maybe the droid was incredibly focused on...whatever it was doing. "Alright, little friend. I won't bother you then, but is there anyone on-board that might be able to pilot this thing? My hyperspace ring is out of fuel, and my fighter can't traverse space as far as I'd like to go, so..." Haven trailed off as the droid ignored him, and he sighed. This is why he didn't talk to droids. Either they didn't understand him or they didn't care, he couldn't tell. Might as well be trying to wake a sleeping Hutt.

What Haven didn't realize was the astromech droid whirring away from his location quietly, broadcasting a signal that someone had boarded The Anticipation.

Paranoia was a dangerous thing.

Gedro was going to speak up about Garoosh's wish to go off alone, as he thought that if they should do anything it would be stick together, but by the time he found the words everyone had split up. Trusting his instincts, he waited a few moments before following Garoosh. He was definitely hiding something- his datapad had betrayed him. So Gedro followed him, sticking to the shadowy corners and occasionally hiding behind a crate or two. He saw Garoosh enter a large room, but by the time Gedro caught up and entered as well, Garoosh was out of sight. All Gedro could see were the racks and racks of old battle droids.

"Well, that explains his sudden interest in leaving..," Gedro muttered to himself, trying to silently step closer to the droids. As he closed in, he heard a voice- low, and robotic. Which was concerning. Steeling himself, he crept up and peered around the droids, and caught a glimpse of a large, dark droid talking to Garoosh.

Pulling out his blasters quickly, he strode forward and aimed one at Garoosh's general area, and the other at the droid.

"Alright Garoosh. Wanna explain why you have some kind of battle droid here and why you snuck off to talk to it?"

Ordinarily, Gedro would have been excited that Garoosh had gotten another droid, and had discovered a whole cache of them. But Gedro was in no mood for secrets and plotting, especially not while they were here in Shipwreck.

Vants… or, at least a version of him, noticed that the Zabrak had slinked off to the unknown. This left him alone with Mulako to deal with the droids on the bridge. At his signal, Vants was to distract the remaining droids; but he didn’t do that. Instead, he closed the door to the bridge and locked it, leaving the Yam'rii alone with half a dozen battle droids who were privy to his presence. “Search the area, something’s in here with us!” One of them shrieked, sending the others on patrol to find and eliminate their attacker.

“Dirty insect…” The “captain” mumbled, following suit and making himself scarce like Gedro did.

The Anticipation was mostly quiet, save for a loud banging on a barricaded door, with angered yells coming from the other side. If Haven approached, the ruckus would cease, replaced by a question from a womanly voice. “Who’s there? Are you gonna let me out of this closet now?!”

The astromech droid had rolled far away from Haven, prepared to sit quiet until someone came back to Anticipation. Haven was prepared to leave the pit droid where it was, he assumed they were on friendly terms.

He whistled to himself, not sure if he should be concerned anymore. The pit droid was the only thing here, nothing else was making noise, even the ship itself was quiet. He kept his blaster out, but left it on "Stun". Haven didn't expect to run into anything at this point, but if someone did show up, he'd have a rough time killing a person that might know how to fly this thing. He needed a way through space that didn't involve constantly hoping there was a planet he could re-fuel on. Haven didn't take any money when he fled Khrooka the Hutt, just the ship. In retrospect, he thought, that was stupid. The Hutts would be searching for him anyway, might as well have given them more incentive.

Haven Garrett strode the halls of the clearly empty vessel, looking for any signs of a firefight. Sure enough, there were blaster marks in various sections. They were sparse, and spread out. Which meant two things to Haven:

Either someone got killed and broke one side's morale, or everyone in this fight was a terrible shot. He could figure that out later though, he was still hoping to find a survivor.

Somewhere.

Data was busy organizing his piles of Vulture droid when he saw something different; a human. The human had approached him out of nowhere and began speaking to him in a calm voice. All Data could do was study the stranger. The pit droid had no combat protocol so it simply waited until the human walked away. Data paused for a second before deciding to contact Garoosh and informing him that there was a stranger aboard the Anticipation.
----------
When the Super Battle Droid woke up and spoke to him, Garoosh was filled with a mixture of uncertainty and joy. He was glad he had gotten the droid to work, but he still wasn't sure if it would obey his orders. Then again, this thing was old as dirt and still seemed in prime condition, which meant that he could override its controls and take manual control if the need arose. But before he could answer his new droid, he heard the sound of guns being primed behind him. He quickly turned and saw Gedro, his pistols aimed at the Filvian and the Super Battle Droid.

Immediately the Super locked onto Gedro. "Threat recognized." It was about to raise a gun arm at him when Garoosh stepped in front of the Super, waving his arms. "Negative! Cancel! Stop! This is Gedro, he's a friendly! Acknowledge!" He said in a rushed but still comprehensible manner. The Super Battle Droid hesitated for a moment before putting away the gun arm. "Acknowledged. GEDRO." It's voice was monotonous and deep but seemed stable. It stood down and waited for more of Garoosh's orders.

With that crisis out of the way, Garoosh slowly turned to face Gedro. "Okay, I know this looks really suspicious but I have a good explanation. I saw the huge cache of droid signatures on my data pad and wanted to check it out. Seeing how I'm no good in a fight, I figured I could use some protection. And," He glanced at the rows of droids surrounding him. "Vintage battle droids can equal a lot of credits to the right people. Not to mention parts, and protection, and alternative uses. It's a treasure trove just waiting to be unlocked!" He found himself beginning to smile because he knew just how right he was. This wasn't the only droid storage room on this ship, not by a long shot. He just needed to find them.

"Hey, what happened to Vants and the bug guy? Where'd you leave them?" He asked, but before he could get an answer he got a message from Data. His eyes went wide and his smile disappeared. He looked up at Gedro. "Someone's on the Anticipation." He looked between Gedro and the Super Battle Droid. "So, Gedro. You want to see what this thing can do? Or should you take care of this?"

Time seemed to slow as Mulako watched Vants close the blast doors to the bridge, leaving him to deal with half a dozen battle droids that knew exactly where he was. Mulako let out an insectoid cry of rage as one of the droids rounded the corner and met its demise as Mulako wildly swung his scythes out of anger, bashing it's head against a console. A torrent of blaster fire erupted from a grouping of droids directed at Mulako as they registered their fallen comrade; once there was a break in enemy fire Mulako swiftly scuttled over to a nearby air duct before tearing off the hatch and escaping into the ventilation system.

Mulako was seething with rage as he scuttled through the ventilation system, metallic clicks echoing as his claws scraped against the large Durasteel pipe that he was more or less trapped in for now. The piping was like a maze and Mulako continued to furiously make his way through the pipe until he found an exit.

Nagorral peered anxiously around as blaster bolts continuously slammed into his cover. The heap of various riches he was hiding behind was slowly losing its one-sided battle with the superheated plasma and it wouldn't be cover for much longer. Watching the ineffectual shots of both Adan and Gomorrah and seeing no help forthcoming from the selfishly-preoccupied Kel Dor, Nagorral frantically looked around for a way to save himself.

Nagorral found his eyes drawn to a massive sheet of some sparkly looking metal next to his cover. He reached out hesitantly with his axe to hook it in before his leg throbbed warningly, reminding him of a previous attempt of this strategy. Nagorral hesitated only until a laser bolt finally broke through his cover right next to his head. Growling, he used his axe to pull the sheet of metal towards him as a few more bolts broke through. Swearing at the uselessness of his allies, Nagorral took off running towards the far end of the room with the metal held like a shield between him and the droid. The metal was wide enough to cover his entire body but his fur covered feet were exposed as he ran, hoping for a more shielded position at the rooms far end.
