The Kel'dor wasn't entirely sure what had happened, but what he did know was simple enough. Altair had been injured, and quite badly at that. Ever since that barbaric Zabrak, Draugr, had taken it upon himself to kill Sol's mutant rat, the Kel'dor had been working on a replacement. Not through alchemy, nor any sort of sorcery at all. Perhaps he was just being a bit too sentimental, but when Vahliri had reached out to him to request his assistance, it seemed that not even Sol could bring himself to turn her away. The two had formed an unstable alliance, had put aside their differences for a common goal. It was a rare thing among the Sith, but Sol wondered how much things would be different if it was commonplace, as it had been in the Jedi.

Nonetheless, both he and Vahliri find themselves on Eiattu for one shared purpose. Their 'gift' strode gracefully between the two Sith as they made their way to the Tiefling's bedside, and perhaps for once in his recent life, Sol's thoughts were not of paranoia or cruelty. This was not a matter of two Sith on a mission. It was merely a meeting between friends.

Vahliri hadn’t quite processed the news, even if hours had passed since it found her ears. Though the precise details were hazy, there were several things that were becoming increasingly clear - as news spread across the HoloNet and was whispered through Imperial circles. Asminys was dead, and Altair had taken his seat of power. And in the process, the Tiefling had been grievously injured - taken to the medbay immediately after the encounter with the former Sith Master. A mixture of conflicting emotions swirled within her, and it wasn’t entirely clear which had claimed dominance.

She felt a swell of pride and gratification upon seeing the Tiefling’s success - to watch him ascend a throne of his own, to claim a place in the Galaxy exactly as Sith were supposed to. And yet those feelings of dread gnawed at her all the same, uncertain what she would find when she entered Altair’s hospital room.

Whatever the answer, Vahliri knew that a visit was far overdue. Despite their copious dislike for each other, the half-Annfyn hadn’t hesitated to reach out to Sol directly - deciding that now was as good a time as any to reveal the gift they had hunted for Altair. It was one they had both waited to reveal, and it was perhaps the only thing that would bring the two Sith into the same room on cordial terms.

As they strolled through the Eiattu palace, Vahliri glanced down to her left - amber eyes lingering on the ‘gift’ that walked beside them. She reached down, running her fingers along the back of his head and further down to affectionately scratch its neck. The half-Annfyn had arrived in casual attire - optting for a pair of jeans and long-sleeve, black blouse.

It didn’t take long before the pair arrived at the door to Altair’s quarters - and were promptly greeted by a soldier at the door. The man would briefly speak into a commlink on his wrist - alerting the King inside before granting the pair clearance into the room, if the Tiefling accepted it. Vahliri exhaled through her nostrils a bit, patiently waiting before they were allowed in.
