Intent:
To create an interesting new ship design for use by the Mandalorian Clans

Model: Seta-Class Support Corvette

Dimensions: 70 Meters, 120 Meters, 45 Meters

Class: Corvette

Crew: x10-x30 Crew

Complement: x20 Compressed Remote Weapon Platforms

Armament: x4 Fast-Tracking Laser Cannons

Equipment:
Medium Shield Generator
Life-Support System
Communication Suite
x6 Escape Pods

Speed: 68 MGLT

Hyperdrive Rating: Class 1.5 Primary (Class 13 Backup)

Maneuverability: The Seta class is about as maneuverable as expected for a corvette. It's decently maneuverable for a Capital Ship.

Description: The Seta-Class is designed as a ship to support larger fleet actions by providing a role similar to that of a mine-layer. It's main feature is a large hollowed compartment encompassing most of the back of the ship. Several racks running down from the top hold an array of different portable turret platforms. Rails allow the platforms to be easily loaded into Launch Tubes along the bottom of the ship. These deploy the platforms into space. They unfold, deploy a ray shield and automatically link up with the ship's systems. Ten of these can be controlled at once from the ship, with a total of twenty if they're slaved together. Control can be given to other ships in the fleet if the ship doesn't have the capacity. These come in both laser cannon and mass driver variants. When the engagement is over, remaining platforms can be towed using a small tractor beam to a service hatch on the top of the ship where they are rearmed and replaced on the racks. Otherwise, the Seta-Class requires other ships to protect it from anything larger than a fighter.

This thing is really fast for a corvette. I mean, this is the same speed as the Millenium Falcon, whereas the CR60 (a similarly sized corvette) could only go 60 MGLT

How many of these remote weapon stations can the ship control at once?

10 Manned, 20 if they're slaved, and any platforms that aren't controlled can be transferred to other ships for control. I'll add that to the profile.

Okay, I see you reduced the speed. That seems more reasonable. Oh, and I realised the ship I meant was CR90, not CR60, my bad.

Hmm, ok. But they'd probably be pretty vulnerable to missiles and the like if it's basically a laser canon, shield generator, and a small power source.

And the mass drivers, are they anti-capital (crovettes, frigate, etc) or anti-starfighter?

That's fair.

Anti-starfighter. So, fast tracking and firing. Makes more sense than anti-cap.
