You work hard, you play hard. On Corellia, a bustling industrial system, that was a common mantra for the working class. It was so prevalent that the possible business opportunities was too much for a certain enterprising small green crossdressing prostitute-turned-business mogul. Imperial Hutta had gotten too...tame, oddly enough. There was a unique kind of risk in setting up his bar and brothel Trycks and Treats on the Republica world, yet that kind of thing had never stopped him before. Now, after years of building a name for himself and becoming popular with local hard-working laborer. Now, his place was one of the favorites on the planet for a man to spend some coin and unwind after a good day's work.

As for why Senator Waszylla was there? He heard the food was to DIE for. At first he looked completely out of place with a full blue suit, rainbow bow-tie, and horn-rimmed glasses with some crystals embedded in the frames. In his mind he was the pinnacle of scholarly style, so when the typical female and male 'waiters', as this place was open to any number of tastes, came over to start fawning over him to try to earn that extra set of credits he thought it was because of his charisma and wit. When he started the first story he was so wrapped up in himself he couldn't see the rolling eyes nor hear the groans of frustration. Then, something peculiar happened.

Tryck was working as the bartender that day, filling in for the one that had called out sick. The obscure tale from Jakku had reminded him of his own tale, beckoning the Senator over to tell his own obtuse story about a floral shirt-wearing man who grabbed one of the original Sith Lords mid-zipline and had suplexed him into an underground lake. The two hit it off, trading tall tales that were all rooted in truth as the patrons and staff listened in, laughing and hanging off their every words. "...And that's when they made me their chief! At least, that's what I WOULD have said, had I actually been there. Dromund Kaas is a bit far from home and I'm fairly sure even the spider could make my head explode just by looking at me cross-eyed. Should be easy for them, they've got at least six of them!" The crowd laughed again, Tryck pouring them all another drink. What some people would call the most boring man in the galaxy was the life of the party, somehow. Now he just needed some more friends to really throw the night into overdrive.

Alton Hawkes had business in Coronet City today, and it's all wrapped up. This is Alton's first time on the industrial planet and he heard a lot about this place from word of mouth, about the wanderlust of it's pilots, it's shipyards. And not to breathe too much of the air. Here and there he saw Mandalorian guards here. This is a planet that Mandalorians battled hard he recalls.

Alton was still dressed in his normal business wear, he stopped at a bar called Trycks and Treats. It had a sign on it displaying Tryck, a small froglike alien, apparently cross-dressing? After thinking about it a few, he dared to go inside out of curiosity. The Senator has plenty of time before he takes his shuttle back to Chandrila.

The Chandrila native was at the bar, kind of isolated from everyone else. He had yet to have a drink as he saw the bartender off telling another patron a story, a strange tail about a guy with a flower shirt wrestling an orginal Sith Lord? Alton had a puzzled expression on his face. That can't be true? And then he look closer and saw one patron was wearing a blue sit, a bowtie and horn-rimmed glassess. Alton raised an eyebrow. Is that Senator Waszylla? Huh. Small galaxy.

In a place with sensory overload at least there is someone familiar in here. Alton would discretely switch seats and get in talking distance to the Obroa-Skai senator. "Senator Wazylla?" he asked and chuckled lightly and nervously while keeping a smile as the crowd's laughter died down and the cross-dressing frog alien thing was pouring drinks. "Sure is fancy meeting you here" he also said. Alton would also have his eyes moving looking to the sides, there is a lot visually going on. Then he'd have them back towards the other Senator.

"Alton! Now this is a surprise!" Val was glad to see a friendly face here, respecting the Senator of Chandrila quite highly. He was a member of that new generation he was trying to impart wisdom to, just as any good scholar or teacher did. He gestured for the Senator to join him, the other workers of the bar veritably licking their chops as they saw a potentially wealthy client. A look from Tryck stopped them from rushing in to try to woo the man. That wasn't the proper course of action, at least not right now. If he played his cards right, the Senators would butter themselves up to become amenable for other services. He DID give them both a free drink, though, anything of their choice. "What brings you here? I hear the chicken wings are to DIE for, so I got curious as to what the hubbub was about, bub." He laughed at his own bad joke. Man, he was the life of the party.

Alton grinned as Valiance was glad to see him. The young senator did see the older senator gesture him over close but then he saw the other workers staring at him, until he saw Tryck, the person on the front poster stare them down and shut it down without a word. And he after that he would hop out of his seat to sit besides Waszyllla.

Now closer to his Obroa-Skai counterpart, he was then asked what brought him in here and then he would chuckle at Valiance's pun. Alton is a sucker for puns. Alton would then respond "Oh, I was just here for business and on my way back I saw the poster on the front, was curious and I had free time before I go back home." he answered and nodded.

Apparently Tryck is giving them free drinks, the Chandrilia Senator would turn towards Tryck and then kindly ask for a glass of Alderaan Ale. Random thought after a pause "So... hows your forehead?" he wondered. Because during senate vote for the Republic he did trip and hit his head on a podium on a historic holonet boardcast. He would have hated to be in his shoes during that, he would have been embarrsed.

"The forehead? Oh!"Valiance blinked, finally remembering what Alton had been talking about. He'd completely forgotten he had tripped and fallen as he made his way up to the podium to speak and vote for the creation of the Republic. Considering what had happened that day, a small detail like that was easily something that could be forgotten, considering the history they had made. He laughed, still feeling a bit embarrassed at his clumsiness, but he could tell that the younger senator had been concerned for him. He leaned in a bit closer, playfully knocking on the part of his head that he'd hit that day. "Don't you worry, that was just an accident. My old noggin here is still pretty strong. Hell, I've had heavier books fall on me in the library than what that little bump was. But I appreciate your concern. It'll take more than a little trip to bring down ol' Waszylla. Should probably see about getting the carpeting fixed in that room, though."

Chuckling to himself, Valiance ordered another of his favorite fizzy drinks. Despite being in a bar, he just didn't like alcohol. He was allergic to it, so even small sips tended to give him a headache, more made him quite sick. He pondered for a moment, allowing time for his food to arrive. He gestured for Alton to help himself, he loved sharing a meal with others. "How does it feel to be a part of history in the making? Me? I'm terrified. I'm at my core just a small librarian and scholar from a planet most people forget even exists. When we were the UP, it was smaller and thus less stress. We didn't have much power, but we did what we could. I'm not saying I'm going to step down or anything, it's just...perhaps a bit jarring, the sudden change." He was completely honest with the man, as one should be with a peer that they trusted. Whether this was a good or bad thing, though, that would be in the Senator from Chandrila's hands.
