Another day for diplomacy, at least that was how it was planned to go. All the same Hakon had come wearing his personal set of armor. He looked at the reflection of his naturally hazel eyes in the black visor of his helmet before donning it as they discended through the atmosphere. They were due to meet with the tribal leaders at a towns local gardens. It was neutral and a way for the local Vulks to show the beauty of their planet. He had heard mixed things about the locals and wondered which things were true. He looked over at the protocol droid wondering if they would need it or if the locals spoke enough basic. It was customary to speak the local language out of respect so he surmised there would be much translating going on. Hopefully there would not be any lost inflection.

They were on approach and would be landing shortly, but moments if his estimates were correct. He could just feel it in the way the pilot flew. It was not the emotion or any sort of sense of the future. It was his experience with craft. The deceleration, the turns and gees he felt like when someone innately felt they were getting close to their destination. All that in mind he checked on the crates that lay stacked to the binary loader droids on board. The droids were an attempt to show that they had technological prowess, beings that would do the empire's bidding without question. The same could be said for their organic counter parts.

What resided within the crates was different than that though. There was one, that held a IPR pulse rifle. Another had a vibro-sword, crafted from a master weapons smith wrapped in silks from a seperate planet. Another case held preserved food stuffs, delicacies from across the galaxy. A portion contained drink and libations that Hakon hopped would be opened during the meeting. There were fabrics and designs as well but the mandalorian sith had said to not bring specific clothes if possible. They did not know the sizes of the people they were meeting after all and he definitely did not know the anatomy of the locals all that well.

Alone in the cargo hold of the transport ship, the Dagobah Sith positioned herself on knees meditating on the future events. She had done this before many times, under mockery and scrutiny of other Sith, where they proclaimed this was a Jedi technique. Where the Jedi did so to center themselves, to find calmness and a means to relieve themselves from darker, baser emotions; she did the opposite. She was a conduit of hate, anger, suffering, and pain. And it was through these sessions of meditation that she had learned to control her emotions less they rule her. She would never be that 'perfect' Sith, which suited her fine; cause in her mind, equality was a lie. And that was what made her perfect in her fractured mind.

Eyes snapping open, the rumbles and changing of the ship's vibrations alerted her they were making landfall; and reaching out with both hands, she gripped her two swirling lightsabers that had made several revolutions around her meager frame during the ordeal, snapping them back into place on her hips.

Adjusting her robe, her outfit, and the jewelry fashioned from bones that decorated her body, she left the cold, dark confines of the cargo hold. There where tribes to be indoctrinated into the warm, seductive embrace of the Sith; where they would find an understanding and new meaning of life. It was easy to show a military force, conquer by conquest mentality; but it was the words of diplomats that truly brought down civilizations. Right over might, pen over sword, tongue over violence; these where the tools the Sith brought today.

And today, as the sun rose casting it's shadow across the planet; so did the shadow of the Sith cast theirs.

Exiting the vessel he looked over to the twi'lek counter part that had joined him on this mission. Her face seemed rather grim and serious, not very warm and welcoming though he wondered if the Vurk had the same facial expressions and perceptions. He took in a deep breath and sighed, not feeling very optimistic about the situation but deciding to keep such observations and opinions to himself.

Hakon's boots would make some sound as he moved towards the entrance of the garden. He kept his hands at his side, moving slightly with each step. The light stone of the structure giving contrast to his dark attire. Inside the building there were guards posted, most likely more than normal considering the presence of several tribal leaders. His glance looked them over quickly, trying to surmise what equipment, discipline and prowess they might have in general. But they seemed far from brutal warriors that could intimidate a sith.

Deeper inside they would see a large stone table, meant for people to gather at and lounge within the garden. The sound of running water in a small artificial creek made the area seem peaceful and utopian. But he did not gawk at the majesty of the structure nore the flora within it. There were ten leaders present it would seem, each with an aid, and two guards respectively. Not including the guards that were in the general vicinity of the building Hakon counted forty people in the garden that were not the two Sith. Behind the two sith came the binary auto servitors that were carrying the crates and boxes of gifts. Hopefully they would appease the tribal leaders.

With her hands behind her back, fingers locked together, she followed the male Sith through a lavish and bright garden. She couldn't help feeling a tinge of jealousy from such beauty. The majority of her life had been spent among the dank, putrid, and stale waters of the swamps of Dagobah. She had never seen true beauty, until now. Quickly shifting her gaze, she noticed the guards watching them intently. There was no doubt in her mind they viewed the two Sith with skepticism, and rightly so. The Sith had been waging a conquest for some time now, and undoubtedly word of such fates that befell planets had long reached the ears of these tribal leaders.

So it was important that whatever rumours they heard about the Sith remained just that; rumours.

Once inside the main chamber, where ten leaders stood massed together, flanked and heavily protected by their guards; Xhexania stepped to the side to allow the leaders to see the numerous amounts of gifts the Sith had brought along. One leader locked eyes with the Twi'lek Sith. where she simply nodded her head toward the array of treasures. The leader, with two guards no less than a step behind him, walked toward the caravan; examining the crates.

"I assure you," she said moving next to the man, but at a distance not to rile the guards, "Our glorious Empress wishes only good intentions and fortunes between us. She has only but the utmost confidence that we can work together, to strengthen a bond of friendship; beneficial to both parties. But forgive me, I progress these proceedings ahead of schedule. Please, accept that crate with my blessing, the blessing of the Sith Empire, and the blessing of our majestic Empress."

Hakon's gaze turned to his fellow Sith. While she looked rather intimidating and he could sense a hint of jealousy in her face upon arrival she seemed fairly capable of diplomatically dealing with the mission. He could appreciate that and so smiled slightly before continuing to present the gifts they had brought. "We have brought an array of items from across the empire. This is nothing more than a taste of what the Empire has." He said as one crate was opened.

The one he had opened held two blaster rifles. Another held vibro swords. It seemed, if Hakon's judgement was correct, that the weapons had a positive affect. A few tribal leaders leaned in, some murmured interest. "If you wish to compare weaponry or to test them out just let me know. We can certainly find a place for each of you to know what kind of power you will have in your hands." He ended with a smile. After he spoke he wondered if maybe in another life he had been a salesman.

A group of tribal leaders huddled together, their voices barely an audible murmur, stood discussing the new weapons. These gifts, undoubtedly, were far more superior to the crude, fashioned weapons they normally employed. The leaders, as the two Sith would might suspect, knew these weapons could change the pecking order in the outlands; but Xhexania deduced that these leaders were secretly plotting against one another, now that power had been bestowed to them via the Sith Empire; which the Sith could use advantageously to hold and keep the tribes in check.

From the leaders, 8 detached themselves from the main body. Inquisitively, they sought to learn and understand the nature of the vibro-swords, in turn teach those that they ruled over how to utilize them effectively in warfare.
"I'll take these eight into the outlands, showing them the basics," she said to the other Knight, leaving him with the other two, the rifles, and the several unopened crates.

Leading the leaders and some warriors, whom carried the swords, to a secure location, she gripped one of the swords; waving it left to right getting a feel for it's weight and balance. She despised the weapon in comparison to her hilts.
"The swords you'll notice, she began after each leader personally took one, "Are slightly heavier than the weapons you're familiar with. However, unlike your weapons these possess greater control and maneuverability as you'll notice."

Leading by example, she went through a regiment of slashes, sweeps, strikes, and power attacks the leaders themselves followed. The several smiles on their collective faces was gesture enough of success.
"With these swords, one can repel blaster fire if properly trained and the lightsaber." With a small nod, one of the guards fired a couple of bolts at her, where she easily batted them away. "Now if I may have a volunteer?"

As one of the leaders moved toward her, she explained to him to attack her as if she was the true enemy; whilst producing one of the two hilts from her waist, igniting it. Again she nodded. The leader took several attempts at her, which easily she parried away. The leader, like his brothers, stood in awe and amazement. "The sword's blades, on both sides, are extremely sharp and capable of slicing through weaker materials, but lack the cutting strength of a lightsaber. And as some of you have taken notice, these weapons can be wielded with two hands or one hand. The style depends on the user's strength and preference."

"However, these weapons are not designed to be used against electrical weapons. Per the design's drawback, unfortunately, can result in extreme electrocution resulting in either death or loss of limbs"

He watched the intrigue on the edged weapon grow and smiled. Hakon rather enjoyed physical blades in general. Considering his work as an interrogator they had a broader utility when extracting information and did a better job than a lightsaber. However for general combat he still found lightsabers to be ideal with no drawbacks. The man nodded at the twi'lek in response as she gave him notice of their directioon.

Turning to the duo who would stay with him he brought out a weapon. "Now are you familiar with blaster weapons?" He asked both of the tribal leaders. They looked at one another and nodded. They were the leaders and likely had access to some trading goods that came and went including some weapons here and there. "The IPR is essentially your standard blaster rifle however it uses what is called pulse wave technology. Such technology is outlawed actually in many systems simply because of the savage power it utilizes. Here, let me show you." He would take out his SP-20 blaster pistol and carry it along the sight railing.

"Before I fire is it okay to shoot indoors? I do not want to disrupt the lovely garden you have." Again both of the leaders looks at one another and nodded. "Do you have a target by chance? I've brought some duraplast plates if not. But I do not want to destroy one of the gift's we've brought." The following moment would have one of the guards come by. At the leader's request he removed his torso and back platting, setting it down near the fountain in the center of the garden.

"My pistol is fair in comparison to other blasters however even it cannot be matched by the destructive power of the IPR. Here, watch." He adjusted his grip, ready to fire and fired a single shot into the displayed plate in the center of the garden. The plate would not break but hit. He would place another shot on it and a hole would be made. "Let us take a look at the plate now. After two shots it should now be compromised" He would holster his pistol and look at the plate, showing the tribal leaders the damage his own pistol did. This was all for reference for when he would show them the power of the pulse wave weapon. They would see no bleed through on the other side.

The performance pleased the audience Hakon had. The mandalorian sith smiled and nodded before checking the time. "So do we have your support?" He asked specifically to get a spoken confirmation. The leaders before him nodded in response. Smiling he turned and left. There was still more to do but this was another small victory for the empire..
