Hey guys, thought I'd post up this so we can discuss things about the lecture openly. I realise that a few people have been rather busy the last couple of weeks (myself included!) which is totally fine, but to save from the thread getting bogged down and slow I'll just keep going with the class and break any formal thread order so we can continue. Don't worry though if you can't post as frequently as other people, your characters are still in the class and will be observing and learning. It will however be up to you guys to engage in the lessons and show evidence of your characters' understanding and learning processes whenever you can find time to post. Even if it means writing slightly longer posts than you usually would. It's important to remember that the classes and training threads are not only a good medium for us to develop our characters, but it's also fundamental in showcasing evidence to the Council that your characters are acquiring knowledge and skills that will prepare them for Knighthood and beyond. And, most importantly, everything your characters learn within the classes and training threads will be help you in other rp threads where you might be facing really challenging enemies and/or situations that could severely jeopardise your characters. The main focus of a battle/combat lecture such as this one is to not only develop your characters' fighting abilities and skills (IC) but also to help you guys and girls as writers to be able to engage and defend your characters when difficult and dangerous situations arise IC.
Anyway, that's my rant, let me know if you guys have any ideas or concerns regarding this class and I'll do my best to listen and incorporate anything you feel is important!
