Sebastian Thel is a young man with an affinity for numbers. He is deeply shy and anxious in social situations. He copes with his anxiety well, which only revolves around social interaction and remains stoic when under stress.
While he is a respectable citizen for the most part, Sebastian can be manipulated into criminal work, such as slicing and theft. He is quick to analyze situations and form an approach which makes the most logical sense. This also applies to how he treats others. He is capable of giving advice to individual people and helping them with organization.
Mild in his manner and patient, Sebastian has never killed and has no means of causing direct harm. He is compassionate, even when he has nothing to say and will do his best to help somebody more vulnerable than himself. When dealing with an emotional situation, he will provide company at the very least.
Sebastian has never been attracted to a person of any gender. Romantic subjects cause him discomfort and he despises physical contact. He is not interested in hedonism and does not drink alcohol, not because of moral reasons, he simply does not like the taste.
Sebastian is regarded as eccentric by most people. He struggles to display emotion, owns several coats which are exactly the same and does not enjoy, well anything, other than mathematics. Solving equations and organizing quantities make him more happy than anything else in the galaxy.

A mathematician who applies his skills to his travels, Sebastian can guess outcomes and amounts with accuracy. He can slice into computer systems, break codes and organize data. With an interest in technology, he can design machinery and program computers.
Sebastian does not know how to fight, or use a weapon of any kind. He is small, thin and defenseless against any combatant. When confronted with a dangerous situation, he simply has to rely on his wits. He is too shy to hold positions of authority and cannot lead groups. He can run surprisingly fast, however.
Appearance
Sebastian is shorter than average and thin. He has fair skin and dark brown hair and eyes. His hair is pin-straight, short and usually disheveled. He wears a long, beige coat and puffy trousers which tuck into socks and lace-up shoes. With his nervous tilt and observing eyes, he is typically cute and unassuming.
Biography
Sebastian was born on Balmorra to a distant father and a mother with a penchant for gambling. His father worked in a starship factory and was rarely present in the home. From a young age, Sebastian developed a habit of running away to look for him. He did not learn to speak until later in childhood and displayed a keen interest in numbers. He was fascinated by technology, in particular the programming of droids and the design of starships.
The young Sebastian could guess outcomes with surprising accuracy, which gave his mother an idea. She took him to pod races, where she would use his numerical capacity to guess the outcome of her bets. He did not feel forced at first and enjoyed the time he spent with mother. She began to scold him if his estimations were wrong and blamed him for the money she lost.
When Sebastian's father returned home, he determined that he would be educated and sent him to school, much to the protest of his mother. Sebastian did well in science and mathematics and poorly in other subjects. His days at high school were miserable and came with years of terrible bullying, which caused him to develop an anxiety disorder.
Sebastian attended university where he studied mathematics and computer science, planning to run away as soon as his exams were finished. He struggled to find work due to his anxiety and turned to the darker areas of the galaxy for a potential employer, while continuing his studies on the side.
