Back on Manaan, Vex sat in the contacts house at his dinning room table. Clad in her Wraith Armor and smothering her Force signature to remain hidden from other Force users. She drummed her fingers on the table to keep herself busy, though otherwise maitained a perfect posture since she was in her work mode.

There were multiple doors to enter the place, so sneaking in was easy. The man most likely wasn't expecting them and would probably suffer another minor heart attack when he arrived. But lucky for him, she was only here to deliver news and to have a few extra words. It wasn't anything special, it wouldn't take up much of his time and it also gave him a chance to ask some questions if he wanted to. Of course she wouldn't tell him her organizations name or exactly what they've done, only enough to wrap things up and send him on his way.

Beside her was the same man she brought before. He was quiet but it made her comfortable to have him by her side as a lookout. He could spend his time stretching out his senses and keeping his eyes open for any unwelcome guests.

Vash once again stood in a corner of the room. This time at Vex's back and to her left side. He literally still wore the same none descriptive medium armor as he did his last little excursion with the Wraith. And like before his part of the mission was simple, cover her back. Though he suspected that given her rank and station within their order he was here little more then as a sword in a glass, 'in case of emergency, kick ass'. So here he was, holding up the wall.

To pass the time the assassin indeed reached out with the force, allowing his senses to poor from his body and expand into the room and beyond. Like an over flowing tub or sink. Before long Vash could feel the aura of a non force user approaching. Finally.

"About time" , he said simply and in a low deep tone.

Not officially part of the meeting party, she had come along to act as muscle; and perhaps curry favor from the Sith Master. Whilst the Master and another Knight were bust conducting business, she had moved through the city, awaiting orders if things went south; observing the main species on the planet. Upon her return from solitude on her homeworld of Dagobah, she had been exposed to many different species; some unique and some simply confusing. And these species, the Selkath, were some of the most intriguing of all.

Moving through the city, she stopped from time-to-time observing the different wares on display from the kiosks that practically littered the city. From basic food to highly engineered equipment, it seemed for the right price anything could be obtained; sadly she couldn't afford much of the items for sale, minus nourishment. Buying a seafood based sandwich, which the kiosk's proprietor claimed was a delicacy, she took small bites enjoying the meal, whist she continued her adventurous sight-seeing tour.

Droid shops, it seemed, now ruled the far western part of the city. Intrigued, she entered the shop and was immediately assaulted by twin Selkath brothers who seemed overly intent on making a sell. Their sales pitch, which seemed well rehearsed and finely tuned, was almost hard to deny. Had she the credits, she might have been duped into purchasing a droid; which she had both no use for or what to do with. Droids, in her opinion, was a waste of materials, best used elsewhere. Still, she wondered if not having a droid sidekick could prove bountiful. After all, she had been drawn into the scientific mysteries; thus owning a droid now sounded reasonable. However, not today.

Quarna had kept himself very busy in the administrative work of regime change. Appointments, meetings, clandestine dinners with power players. It had been exhausting, frankly, but he'd carried out everything he'd needed to clear the way for the shifting diplomatic ties of Manaan. The Selkath, as a collective, prided themselves in their neutrality, but the overgrown Selkath that had spent the majority of his time diligently arranging for an easy time changing their allegiance knew which way the current was changing and their continued survival and prosperity meant supporting the bellicose Empire -- more soldiers and wars meant more kolto sales meant more prosperity for Manaan.

After a hard day of finagling and maneuvering, Quarna wanted nothing more than a sumptuous dinner and a good sleep, but he would be denied even that as he rounded the corner cheerily, visibly startled once again by his visitors. His house security hadn't caught anything and he clutched as his chest in mild panic, cursing their stealth internally. He'd have to invest in a better security system when he moved closer to the center of the capital to administrate the new order.

“To…to what do I owe this honor?” bubbled Quarna. “I've been quite busy with preparations on my side.”

"The job is done," Vex answered simply, standing up from her seat and making her way in front of the man. She stared at him for a handful of seconds before continuing, "Know that we value you and will continue to aid you in your endeavors, whether you're aware of our aid or not."

She bowed slightly, placing a hand over her heart as she did. It felt strange to bow before someone so weak and pathetic, but he needed to both fear them and come to value and trust their help.

Vex turned to leave after, stopping at the threshold of the dinning room door. "When you need us, we'll be aware and contact you." A double edge sword; implying that their eyes would be on him at all times. Which she wasn't entirely sure if they would or not. Either way it'd help keep the man in line. "If you have no questions—reasonable questions—we'll be off now." If he didn't ask anything she'd leave.

Fear them he did, especially when she bowed to him. He did not possess their talent for perception of the otherworldly, but a desperate foreboding filled him at every meeting he had with these Sith. But, Quarna Llesh was not a creature of martial power. His prowess was in the administrative work, the day-to-day that kept empires and galactic civilizations afloat and secure. Quarna nodded gravely at the hidden figure’s words, and a question came to mind. It was the only reasonable question he could think of, and the entire justification for this duplicitous scheme with the Sith hung upon it.

“Will…Manaan be safe?” His tone was humble and warm, like a caring father. He had seen the wars that Sith, Republic and Jedi could wage and the Jedi and Exiles before them. The destruction…unparalleled. Even the ability to destroy a planet was insignificant next to the power wielded by the Sith and the Jedi. And Quarna wanted to keep its destructive expression as far away from Manaan as was possible. Let the others fight the wars while Selkath chemistry kept them fighting. So long as the war, either the long one, the large one or even sporadic skirmishes stayed away from Manaan, they would be safe.

Or so Quarna Llesh hoped. Earnestly. Fully. Truly, in his heart.
