PERSONALITY: Saeme is a stereotypical Jedi Knight. He is kind to most and a hero amongst those who know him. He has high respect for his ex-master, and the Jedi Masters who’s skill is much better than his. He’s been taught well in the dangers of the Dark Side by his master, and has vowed to never fall to it, despite having emotions that can lead to it. He believes the Republic is failing, turning from democracy to assault. However, he stills stays with the Jedi.
HISTORY: Saeme Lan was born as the second child, and second son of the Lan family on the planet of Denon. He was brought up by a hired nanny, being taught that only Humans were perfect, and Aliens were sick, and disgusting. However, he believed other ways. He made friends with an Ithorian Jedi, who was eventually killed by Mercenaries. Before this, however, he was recognized as force-sensitive. However, the teachings of his nanny made him believe it was a curse. However, when he became friendly with the daughter of a smuggler, he snuck onboard the ship to escape his parents, and was soon on Coruscant.
Saeme learnt Lightsaber skills first, mastering Shii-Cho. He soon became an Initiate, but, upon hearing the news of his Mother’s death, returned to Denon for her Funeral. This made him frowned upon by the Jedi, by not detaching himself from Family. He returned full of sadness, and anger, giving him a great weakness to the Dark Side. He slowly pushed it out however, and was soon back on the path of a normal Jedi.
Saeme only visited his homeplanet once again after his mothers funeral, to hunt down the criminal merchant Sagen Templar. The hunt grew personal when Sagen took Saeme’s older brother hostage in an attempt to stop Saeme hunting him. Saeme instead kept the hunt going, tracking down Sagen to the top of a large tower. A confrontation occurred, in which Saeme cut off Sagen’s left arm, but Saeme’s brother was killed by a blaster shot to the chest. The impact knocked him off the edge of the building.
