That's fine then. But still, 5 light blaster bolts for a level one with one lightsaber at that distance would not all be avoidable. Expected or not.

Can you clarify what you mean by that? Are you saying I can't avoid any bolts or I can't avoid them all or something else?

I’m saying that without a defense all 5 bolts would hit Alexandra. Light repeaters are known as being in accurate at full auto so people say “shots missed because xcharacterx was moving fast”. I think Alexandra would naturally try to defend and block some attacks with her lightsaber however multiple bolts should hit her in my opinion. So in short. She can’t avoid all unless you have a defense I haven’t imagined that fairly allows her to avoid all damage.

We've already accepted Alexandra was able to avoid the shot from Burk at a similar range and quite possibly less warning, so it's not a stretch to apply the same again I would hope.

The five shots cannot all be blocked however my post was to the effect that the first one was deflected while she moved out of the path of the rest. Your point is the shots are either too fast to deflect or too fast to dodge but that would mean Juulius is making an undefendable attack unless I'm mistaken.

I could edit to eat a shot if required although that would hurt quite alot on account of a lack of armor :p

These are 5 light blaster bolts over the course of one second. This isn't a storm trooper your fighting. Just like a level 1 force user would follow through a swing a non fs would track your movements and adjust aim unless you are using force speed or barrier or something else you come up with. That's your choice. How much your willing to do to avoid damage is your choice but saying "side step" isn't going to fly in this situation. As a level 1 I would say maybe 2 would be deflected, perhaps be able to avoid a 3rd (even though I think it makes sense for you to still take this) because that's me being generous but two light blaster bolts should land.

Your own choices make up what consequences you have to deal with. Getting surrounded by 5 enemies for example and then trying to say you can sidestep their shots isn't going to fly either. Then when those enemies try to tell you that you should be taking the appropriate damage you can't say "that's an undefendable attack then". No, that's your character making the mistake of getting flanked and having to deal with a bad situation. In this case it's not that extreme but adequately taking the appropriate damage is the subject at hand.

I also realized that the time limit of this MFB thread has been reached. I know @Rimrald told you guys to wait until he could get a partner which was very generous of you. It should be known though that all sides have to post within 72 hours of the first post. It doesn't matter if someone's partner has to leave or not. That would go under the heading "requesting an extension". Still, in this specific case I have gone off of the timing of my post because that was the impression you were probably given. I posted my response at 1:42 pm (CST) on May 26th. Today at the same time that was when the battle reached an end.

So, I am admit this is kinda dumb of me to ask. What does it mean for the battle to have reached its end? Does that mean the thread is null?

Not null. At least not with the connotations I associate with the term "null". The RP admins will take a look at the thread in its entirety and decide whether one side is victorious while the other is the loser or if it is draw.
