From the slashes a hand came aggressively at Dan's face, the fist connected with his good eye heavily and left a black mark all around it. The fruit substance smeared all over his face and even got in the twi'leks mouth even though he was trying to bite the fingers. His eyes reacted instinctually and when the palm struck at it it closed, practically impregnable to blindness.

The chunks of fruit still obscured some parts of the vision and his eye was slow with the heavy wetness of the things inners. The knee was swift, but Dan saw it and was able to place the left hand right in front of his groin. This did not stop the blow but merely cushioned it, his hand cracking audibly with the contact. He puked out something from his throat simultaneously with the knee's connection to his hand-groin, which sprayed his attacker.

He stepped back, still holding his laurels with his now-bad hand. His chin was covered in the puke, his face was a mixture of blood and garbage. All around him a toilet paper-roll like object came tumbling on the field, it held the characteristic of lingering paper and bits fell on both combatants. Some pieces of the 'toilet paper' touched the saber and burnt with a nasty smell, leaving a little dust.

In a weak position Chambers began to wave his saber in the air, plums of dust forming around him and making it harder to see. The crowd clamoured for more action and stopped throwing bits of debris so the cover would be temporary. This would be his time to heal from the devastating assault.

She'd already pushed her luck far too far, Alya fell back, not in the mood to suicide on a wild opponent. She darted away from the wall, circumventing her opponent, and dove for her lightfoil. Her fingers closed about the familiar hilt, she rolled over it, and came up on her feet with the weapon switched off, but at the ready.

One hand went to wipe the filth from her face. She grimaced. Nasty.

"Maybe you'll listen to me now, twi'lek." Alya tried to reason with this guy once again. "We don't have to do this. There is no glory in this battle. Let us abandon this pointless struggle and take the fight to those who truly deserve it. Those slavers can't stand before the two of us."

If they were going to revolt, it would have to be soon. Between her shoulder, stomach and back, she was already in great pain. For the moment, a strange mixture of military training and pure adrenaline was keeping her upright and going. But she didn't have any fancy healing tricks. Once her adrenaline was used up... things would doubtless take a turn for the worse for her.

"If you're truly so willing to sacrifice true strength for your life, then you are not truly alive at all." Alya snapped back. "But I hardly expect a fool like you to understand that."

She couldn't give the twi'lek any more time to recover. Her lightfoil snapped to life an a trio of quick cuts in the floor gave her a nice sized stone to work with. She scooped up the newly created bludgeoning instrument and charged at her opponent. The dust was clearing, and so she knew exactly where to go.

Her first strike was a forward thrust designed to catch and force a blade aside. Her second move was to utilize her left hand and lob her stone at the twi'lek's forehead. Such was the joys of one-handed weaponry, it lended itself so well to variety.

Some snide words came from the dust, and then the red beam touched the floor in oddly certain intentions. He saw from the beam's 'origination' that whoever was holding it, most likely the woman, crouched down next to the writing them had just done to the ground. First garbage, then a groin shot, That's not going to work again, he thought, preparing himself for another limb-attack.

Dan rubbed some of the fruits out of his face just before the attack came, he had recovered his composure fully but was still trying to regain his breath. Her attack worked, forcing the his lightsaber to the side but the coming fist was easily dodged due to simply expectation. He ducked his head under the strike, hearing the snap of the clothing catching air. He checked into her chest using his shoulder, her reaction now would be very difficult.

All the while he pushed underneath the extended, rock-wielding, arm he was holding back the lightfoil, being wielded with only one hand, by two. He quickly saw this and applied heavy pressure. That one to two arm ratio, adding to that fact that the woman was likely not be standing on the ground in the next few moments, would help Chambers' move to disarm his opponent.

As the twi'lek's shoulder smashed into her chest, bruising her up rather nicely, her left arm snaked behind the twi'lek's shoulder in an attempt to pull him tight. Alya clutched at her attacker's back, refusing to fall off. The plan was successful. Her feint had worked and he'd taken the bait, now she could perform the real maneuver.

She let go of her lightfoil, allowing the blade to spin away, and then brought her newly freed right hand up to grasp at the twi'lek's face. The entire process took less than a second. Her fingers sought out his eyeballs and she moved to pushed against them-- hard-- intending to drive them back into their sockets and leave the twi'lek in great pain, temporarily blinded, and wide open to assault.

The plan had worked, his lightsaber brushed the lightfoil off to the side, it swung much of the way to the other side of the arena due to how much force he was putting on it at the time. Then he felt a feminine arm wrap around his right shoulder, How useless he muttered silently. The orange blade crept quickly into contact with his opponent's body, the beam emitted lethal heat.

Then those small, girly, fingers touched his face. For a split second a thought crossed his mind, Seduction? and then he felt the pressure. Her nails, taken care of mildly more than a man's, scratched the eyes of the twi'lek a burning sensation taking hold as he screamed, his chest actually expanding from the force of the breath. He dropped his saber and gripped the woman's hand.

He continued to cry as he clutched her eye-gauging arm with both of his stronger ones and begun to tug. He was blind and would likely stay that way, at least physically, for the rest of the match. It wouldn't much seem like he'd need it though as his next move wash to use her own body and smash it against the ground using all of her body weight save her held arm. He would use the woman to beat the woman, essentially. That was if she didn't somehow escape his grasp.

As Alta impacted the ground, a cry of pain escaped her lips. Her seared back burst into agony upon contact with the stone ground. She held back tears of pain. The match was taking its toll on her.

Her head snapped around, desperately searching for the dropped lightsaber. There it was, lying on the ground, forgotten. Her free hand grabbed it up, and she held it in her awkward left hand. That didn't matter. She wasn't dumb enough to try to actually use it as a sword.

No. What she wanted was a makeshift blaster. She pointed the lightsaber's business end at the twi'lek and hit the activation button. A beam of light burst into existence and sped towards the man's chest.

The hum of a lightsaber came to Dan's ears, his sight completely black. The launcher of this attack was being flung threw the air at a rapid pace and wasn't afforded a very good platform to shoot and a basically moving target. He heard its beam cut the air wildly as he continued to fling her about, all the pain from this battle so slowly starting to seep into his consciousness.

He felt the burn, the saber cut his side deeply and cortorised all around the wound. He continued to weep in agony, but he couldn't let go. If he let go now in his blind state against a lightsaber-wielding opponent, even one whom had no mastery of the Force, it would be suicide. The blade finally left his skin, though its haunting sound still whistling in the atmosphere. Chambers bit his teeth in expectation of another cut, the next could be his last. His only resolve was to beat her to death, using what little energy he had even with adrenaline, faster than the next randomly accurate swing could come.

Her arm was dangerously close to dislocating as a human being wasn't meant to be used as bludgeon for any great length of time. Her back was screaming. She was bruised from head to toe from the massive succession of impacts. But she wasn't down yet.

Alya had, in fact, extinguished the lightsaber upon making contact with the twi'lek. That was the entire point of using the lightsaber as a blaster, to activate it just long enough to impale a person and then deactivate it. It was a lot harder to accidentally slice your arm off that way.

Again, she chided herself on being nice and for underestimating the twi'lek. With a big hole in his shoulder, then he should have been far too weak to actually toss her about like that. Muscles couldn't contract were there were no muscles. But this twi'lek seemed to accel at those kinds of surprises.

Which meant that if she was getting nasty before, then now it was time to get downright sadistic. She impacted the ground again and then brought the lightsaber up to point straight at the man's right knee.

"Force it all." Alya gasped out in agony. "Just go down."

Her finger stabbed the button and the beam of light stabbed out: straight at the man's leg joint. The man wouldn't be able to toss her about if he couldn't even stand. She hoped, anyway.

((Dang, I actually wrote up most of the post last night, fell asleep and my computer auto-shut off.))

The saber ignited, the conditions of her aiming had made it much less than accurate but it found its mark on the upper section of shin. With a burst of energy he tossed the opponent high in the air and fell to the ground. Blind and limp he merely stood on the ground and held his bloody face. Maybe he'd get lucky and the girl would land on her neck, but as it were the Force seemed to be calling him back home. He completely relaxed, accepting what was coming even if he was wishing it didn't, the pain his body held back for so long finally hit him like a wave. Vomiting and now urine covered he wretched at his burning heart.

Whether it was through pain or his injuries finally catching up to him, somehow Alya slid free of the twi'lek's grip prematurely. She skidded across the stone ground, leaving blood and skin in her wake. Eventually, she slid to a stop at the far end of the arena.

Alya staggered to her feet, blinking back pained tears. Her entire body was nothing but one great mass of hurt. She blinked to clear her vision. If this duel continued, then Alya wasn't sure that she could continue. Mercifully, her opponent collapsed. It was over.

Alya limped over to her lightfoil and collected it. After all of that, she wasn't about to lose it. She pocketed the foil and saber. They were hers now.

"You fought well." Her voice lacked power due to exhaustion. She carried on to speak to her opponent. "I won't kill you. There's no glory in it."
