Intent: To create a heavy duty pistol that is effective against civilians as well as force users. It is to also provide a heavy pistol variant for those mostly outside of the Inner Rim.

Description: The RXA-310 “Thunderbuster” is a revolver style heavy blaster pistol normally used by individuals in high risk occupations generally between the Mid-Rim to Outer-Rim. The reason for its name is due to what seems like a loud thunder clap when it is fired. Its use is mainly within the Outer Rim. It can be found mostly among Bounty Hunters, PMC's and Security Forces/Law Enforcement. It can be found within certain criminal factions, but not often. The pistol is made for mostly close combat and is ineffective against anything over it's 75m maximum range. It is a bit heavier than larger pistol making it unfit for civilian concealed carry. Due to it's complexity, it may not be ideal for non-military or those unfamiliar with complicated firearm systems.

Unlike the SA-17 "Sunspear" which sacrifices ammo for power, the RXA-310 sacrifices range for ammo capacity. Because of its weight, it is possible to grab the trigger while drawing from a holster. The pistol is also not the ideal situation for extended firefights due to its power. Its main purpose is to end a threat early on during or before a confrontation, The heavy trigger, recoil, and source of power reduces its range of that of other blaster pistols in its category. Due to this, it is not ideal for smaller individuals or species. The ammo pack is a lot different than other standard packs. The power pack is in the shape of a cylinder that rolls out to the left side of the pistol. The cylinder is then released using a button near the grip. Also, if the gun is fully fired, it may not be ideal to touch the cylinder due to the heat it forks out. The cylinder's design also keeps the gun as a whole from overheating, and also allows the gun to have a punch without killing the internal systems.

The “Thunderbuster” comes with a couple of standard accessories. The standard accessories consist of a front iron sight that extends from the nose of the gun to the back of the cylinder, and includes a laser sight that turns on from a button near the cylinder release. The “Thunderbuster” comes with three primary weapon colors that include black, gray, and white.
