SPEED/MANEUVERABILITY
The RX-200 can reach up to 90 kph in a straight line with good maneuverability. With the cannon in use, the ship cannot exceed 30 kph with very sluggish maneuverability.

DESCRIPTION​

Developed during the Clone Wars, the RX-200 was of great use against the droid weapons of the CIS as it's main weapon was designed to fry the circuits of droids, ships and ground vehicles. Equally, the ion cannon could do great damage to shields of even larger ships as it was based off the design of ion cannons used on capital ships. Because of this, the RX-200 was built with a dedicated reactor within the armored center of the vehicle to provide enough power for the main turret to actually fire effectively. Even with this boost in power, the vehicle would show reduced speed and handling ability while the cannon was in use.

Seeing extensive use throughout the Clone Wars, the RX-200 was brought forward to serve the Galactic Empire as well as one of it's key pieces in the Order of Battle employed by the Imperials. Due to it's ability to be able to counter starships and ground vehicles alike, the RX-200 saw extensive use during the Galactic Civil War and this continued beyond it's conclusion.

Often found in use in a defensive role within the military of many worlds both inside the FWA and not, the RX-200 is showing it's age in many ways but has not yet been officially retired from service as it is still one of the best anti-aircraft armored vehicles around. Due to it's incredibly long production run, there are millions across the Galaxy in various states of repair and can be reasonably found in the private armies of Hutts and the planetary defense forces of planets such as those within the FWA.

LEGALITY​

Restricted. Although an older design, the RX-200 is a military vehicle and as such civilian ownership is heavily regulated on most worlds.

INTENT​

To bring a canon tank to the site, specifically one that has the stated ability to 'stun' other vehicles and aircraft with it's main weapon. In canon it filled a niche and I hope to have it fill that same niche on the site.

RESTRICTIONS​

RX-200s are military vehicles and their weapons can only be used in PVE/PVP against other vehicles and starships. They cannot be owned by individual characters, but can be acquired as a faction asset.
