If the gang that attacked was from another town like Oria said, then the thugs who made this town their base would certainly be useful. But if their attackers found them before they could warn the local gang, they'd be in deep trouble. Syan pushed Oria gently towards one of the larger balconies attached to what seemed like a small shop. "It'll be obvious for them to spot us if we are the only two people walking in this rain. Let's hide there until some of them pass by." The gang from the other town knew that they had already left the Inn. They wanted to make this quick. And because of their haste, they would certainly not have the time to check every person hiding from the rain.

Oria had arrived to the same conclusions as Syan about waiting till the gang passes them, though she wasn't too happy about it. She wanted to get this over with so she could be out of harm's way as fast as possible, but she knew that sometimes the best options was to wait patiently. The old masters that taught her seemed to be more and more right as of late...

"At least we are out of the rain," she said with a small shiver. She hadn't noticed how cold she really was in the rain till now. "So yellow saber huh? That's not the most common of colours for Crystal's to take." She realized by saying that she had just given away how good her sight really was as well as how much she new about lightsabers. "I mean you only really hear about red and blue," she said failing to make it sound like she knew less than she did.

Patience is one of the most important traits a Jedi has to posses. A Jedi also needs to understand that his lightsaber should only be used as a last resort; to defend and never to attack. Right now, he had to deal with the consequences of using it. While he always tries to avoid using his lightsaber, Syan still has to accept that the easy way out could sometimes be how the force wants it to go. Oria painfully reminded him of the fact that he had chosen the easy and violent way out. In fact, this entire adventure had been a violent and not Jedi-like endaevour for him. With that on his mind, he failed to notice that Oria knew about lightsaber crystals. And the common colors.

"Please forget that I ever used it." he said, more mumbling than speaking out loud. As proud as he was, it bugged him that he failed to uphold the pacifism of the Jedi Order. "I should not have come here in the first place.." his tone was harsh and directed at himself. Sometimes a mental note wasn't enough, but speaking out loud would often do the trick.

He shifted his attention back towards the streets, where a dozen of men were running straight past the large balcony they were hiding under. In their haste to chase him and Oria, they forgot to mind their surroundings. Syan waited a minute or two before moving out of the crowd. "Let's go. I don't think the local gang will be that hard to find, considering that there are no authorities here." He paused, scouring the main street for a sign. His gaze fell on a large building made out of stone and wood. It was higher than the other houses and rivaled the swamphouse in surface area. "That seems like a symbol of power and authority over the area, doens't it?"

Even though the mood of today's events weren't the highest to begin with Oria was still able to notice the tonal shift in the Jedi. She knew the guidelines of lightsaber usage when going places incognito, or at least what they were thirteen years ago when she was still part of the Order, and they were pretty harsh on non essential uses so she could some level understand his frustration. However he seemed, to her at least, to be beating himself up more than he need to about it. Either way she didn't have much time to say anything before a large group of gangsters ran past them.

She turned her pack to the passing men and continued to face that way even after they were well away to make sure she didn't catch the attention of any curious onlookers. She was about to speak but Syan managed to get the first words in. Admittedly his words held better assumptions than whatever she would have said, and she quickly nodded in agreement.

"Leave it to men to claim themselves the most important by having the biggest of something. But trust me, as someone with previous experience in that field, bigger doesn't always mean better," she said with a suggestive tone and a wink aimed at the Jedi. She wasn't sure whether the 'previous experience' joke was about her once having been a man or having been with men, but either way it landed home and would hopefully elicit an amusing reaction from Syan.
