This thead is to suggest and discuss ideas for the basis of SWRPs upcoming war.

Rules.

There shall be no posts that just say 'I dont like that idea' you MUST state WHY you dont like that idea.

ANYONE can come up with an idea, and by posting it in this thread you give up the rights to your idea for parts of it to be used by other people or the staff in other ideas.

If you look that topic is filled mostly with peoples opinions on wether the war should happen or not and a whole lot of crap, this is easier to find because its in the OOC which is more frequently checked and its a fresh start with the topic clearly pointed out.

I posted one in the other topic, but it probably wasn't very well written, and I think it was pretty much ignored, so i'll try again. I'll keep thinking of alternate plotlines, but I thought this one was reasonable, so anywho:

With the Mandalorian Civil War coming to a close and the re-strengthening of the Mandalorian clans under a single banner once more, the warlike Mandalorians are once more looking outwards towards the galaxy in hopes of extending their borders and influence. With the Republic still in a state of shock and recovery after the Sith Empire collapsed into several warring splinter-factions, and with the lack of a Dark Lord of the Sith, or a powerful foe to distract the Sith as a whole from their ambitions, the Mandalorians realize that now is the best time to strike. Calling to the Hapes Consortium for an alliance, the Mandalorian and Hapan forces, augmented by each other's knowledge of shipcrafting and armament (respectively) have now become a very real and even somewhat undefeatable threat.

With the threat of another Mandalorian War, the Jedi Order, still in mourning and severely crippled, have chosen to remain neutral during the conflict and, while rebuilding the Temple on Coruscant, stil remain primarily at the various Stations built across the galaxy. However, many Jedi disagree with this idea, and the talks of a Crusade of Jedi to end the Mandalorian threat once and for all have the Jedi Council very worried. Even now, centuries later, the impression Revan left behind echoes still throughout the galaxy, as the short-lived peaceful state of the galaxy hangs by a thread...

The thing is though, with current situations the way they are, one could imagine that during this stage where Sith activity has lapsed, that there is a lack of a powerful Dark Lord of the Sith. When there is a lack of a powerful Dark Lord, then infighting ensues, and the empire crumbles. It is a predictable pattern that occurs and re-occurs throughout Sith Empire history. I placed it in there basically because that is how I currently see the Sith, and that is where I see them going. It also makes a more interesting RP, as it's not Republic vs. Sith, but Republic vs. Mandalorians & Hapans, AND it allows a resurgence in Sith activity to catch the attention of all three parties involved in the war, along with giving the Jedi a jolt and telling them that they can't remove themselves from the galaxy without some sort of fallout.

Also, the Sith have a Dark Lord. *points to himself* We haven't broken into several warring splinter factions. And any civil fighting between the Sith will cease, as the warring parties will be killed or detained.

Don't worry. At least the Sith will be back in action. At the moment, I'll be building our fleet up, while making some diplomatic ties with small nations.

Non-aggresive stuff as of now.
