Rowa's Armor

DESCRIBE YOUR ARMOR. Here is where you write out the text description of your armor. Who makes it? What was it designed for? What groups or species use it? What materials is it made out of? How expensive is it? Is it good stuff? Is it mass produced junk? Give us a feel for it.

LEGALITY

By most standards its perfectly legal since it has no modifications that would be deemed such. Though him not removing his helmet would be deemed highly suspect.

INTENT

To explain what does what on Rowa's Armor though most of it is run of the mill and stuff he'd need for his missions.

ADVANCED TECH
Not really unless he makes upgrades down the road

Type and Coverage

Type: Medium Armor

Coverage: (Coverage regions for Light armor is 1-3 regions, Medium is 4-5, Heavy is 6-7)

  • Head: Durasteel helmet that covers the entire head with a Transparisteel visor to see through
  • Torso: Slightly Segmented Durasteel armor that covers his entire torso and groin area
  • Back: Articulated Durasteel armor that covers the entire back
  • Lower Legs: Plaststeel Greaves and boot armor that covers the entire boots, calves and knees of the legs.

Functions

Function 1: Rebreather

  • Rebreathers allow for a person to survive underwater or in space for brief amounts of time by scrubbing CO2 from their exhaled breath. Generally this lasts for 3-4 posts, but heavy exertion can shorten that time.
Function 2: Filter

  • Filters are bulky attachments to a helmet, or function as part of a mask, that filter out environmental contaminants such as smoke or most toxins. They are susceptible to caustic substances and damage.
Function 3: Voice Scrambler

  • For the unusually paranoid, this helmet function can scramble a person's voice to unintelligible garbage, while allowing commlink conversations to continue as normal. Alternatively, it can be used to "digitize" a voice into a deep bass tone.
Function 4: Armorweave Accessory

  • Most often in the form of a cape or underlay beneath armor, armor weave provides some protection against the penetrating effects of shrapnel from explosives and other unpowered low velocity impacts, with only a small amount of bleed through damage (bruising or very minor wounds). It offers no protection against kinetic impact or energy, vibroweapons, or similar "powered" weapons. Having more than one accessory (example: Cape + underweave) provides no additional effect. Force User Compatible?: Yes
