Kashyyyk. The place where the tragedy had happened not long ago. Once she had dropped out of hyperspace her stomach turned at the sight of the partly glassed and heavily destroyed planet. This was such a shame. The sight was a reminder of the atrocities the faction she once diplomatically stood for had committed and it truly made her feel sick. It wasn't helping that the morning sickness continued as well, but she knew that it would all be better once she touched solid ground again and so she simply forced herself to breathe deeply while her pilot maneuvered the ship down.

She had gladly accepted the invitation of Senator Aezz as it was about time she met the other FWA planets' representatives. Even if she wasn't feeling particularly well she was positively excited to meet the Wookie on his home planet, Kashyyyk, but it made her indeed sad that this once thriving planet had been devastated like this. She tried to ignore the shudder that went down her spine and swallowed those thoughts when she descended the ramp of her ship and forced herself to a warm, friendly smile instead.

She would have enough time to express her sympathy if their conversation would shift onto what had been, but the goal of their meeting was to talk about the future anyway. Since Rattatak had joined the Free World Alliance, there were nownplenty of opportunities of mutually beneficial trade agreements and solutions to problems their planets would possibly face. " Honorable Senator Aezzairrfhowrrhudrrl, I thank you kindly for your invitation. It's a pleasure to meet you in person" she greeted him politely and rather formally, extending a hand towards the tall Wookie. She wasn't sure how he held it with pleasantries, so she rather stuck to protocol.

Since Aezzairrfhowrrhudrrl had returned to the Galactic scene in the recent senate meeting, his schedule had completely changed focus. He was still focused on rebuilding Kashyyyk, but now instead of overseeing Wookiee resettlement programs and other disaster relief, that looked like meeting with other planetary representatives to help steer the course of the FWA.

He'd had his reasons when he invited her to this specific section of Kashyyyk, where the Onagers had focused their destructive power. A constructed landing pad rising out of the charred, glassy ground- a stark contrast to the usual landing pads constructed out of Wroshyr trees- had space not only for the incoming Senator's ship, but also several of the elegant Catamarans that Kashyyyk was famous for. "Senator Stythani, the pleasure is all mine. Welcome to Kashyyyk. Can I interest you on a tour of our skies while we discuss business?" A Catamaran awaited, ready to receive them; a much safer and more efficient method of showing Kashyyyk's recovery than going on foot.

She approached the Wookie with a respectful bow while she greeted the fellow senator with a charming smile. The Rattataki senator was felt rather rested even though her journey had been a little longer this time. The nausea was slowly fading, just like she had expected once she finally had solid ground underneath her feet, but she couldn't ignore the impressive Catamarans she had already seen during her landing approach.

Under normal cirumstances, Celeste would have been extraordinarily pleased at the prospect of flying in such an incredible vehicle, but she swallowed hard now that she felt sick already. She didn't let the other senator notice her inner conflict and kept her fassade polite and straight while she nodded with a smile. "Sure! I would love to see your miraculous planet from above". There was a slight hint of sadness in her voice as both of them knew that they would sadly only see what remained. But Celeste was not here for sentimentalities. She was here to ensure that their alliance would grow stronger to well placed deals and trade agreements, so that such tragedies would never repeat themselves. Still, she felt a deep sympathy for the Wookie that had lost so much in the past.

"Excellent; a more appropriate meeting space is not too far away, and I hope that you will find the journey to be a pleasant one" the Wookiee Senator said. Catamarans were among the steadiest craft he'd ridden in his 400+ years, and this particular one was an excellent machine. After helping Celeste aboard, Aezzairrfhowrrhudrrl nodded to the crew which began takeoff procedures. The catamaran began its voyage, steadily flying through the skies of Kashyyyk.

"I am most grateful for your presence today, Senator" the Wookiee said, with translation provided by T-8R on his belt. "Kashyyyk has suffered at the hands of the Sith, but we are beginning to emerge from the shadow of the bombardment." Their flight plan was a carefully calculated one, that took the Senators from the scars left by the Onagers to areas less damaged and even seemingly untouched. Not for the first time, Aezzairrfhowrrhudrrl thanked the galaxy that Wroshyr trees were as tough as they were; incredibly resistant to fire and even turbrolasers; most of the giant trees had survived the burning of the underbrush around them, paving the way for the vibrant ecosystem to recover. Aided by Kashyyyk's terraformed surface, the result was- with the exception of the Onager's firing path- a healthy planet.

"But, I expect that you have heard much of Kashyyyk's experience from the Holonet. Tell me, then, about Rattatak? What are the goals and visions you have for your planet?" Aezzairrfhowrrhudrrl had his reasons for asking Celeste here today, so the more he knew of what made her tick, the better.

Even though she still wasn't fully sure about how she should feel in regard to the flying Catamaran ride, she nodded politely and followed him enthusiastically. She was certain that Kashyyyk would be impressive from above and she couldn't wait to see the beautiful landscape and the impressive Wroshyr trees with her own eyes, but she couldn't shake this slight uneasiness. She still wouldn't show any signs of it and happily boarded the Catamaran together with her fellow senator until they started making their ascend already.

The way the flying vehicle moved was impressively steady and so she didn't feel too bad, but the landscape truly fascinated her. "Again, I'm truly pleased to be here today. It was about time that we finally meet and perhaps exchange our ideas" she replied softly, a warm smile still on her lips. She really wanted to get to know him better, as they definitely had a few shared interests regarding the Free World Alliance, but for thr very purpose of that she also owned him some sort of explanation... "I am still terribly sorry for everything that you and your people had to endure. I know that it has been a while and I can see how your planet starts to flourish again and that makes me truly happy, but I also have to confess something at the very beginning of our meeting".

She was not fully looking forward to the subject, but she wanted to be honest with him. However she was also aware of the fact that the Wookie senator that had suffered so many losses wouldn't be exactly pleased, but still it had to be voiced. "When the tragedy of Kashyyyk happened I was cut off from the galaxy for a while as i had been held captive. I received the news way too late and during that time I was still officially carrying a different banner. I had represented the Empire diplomatically, but what happened on Kashyyyk was ultimately one of the reasons why I chose to leave. All I've ever wanted was peace and my diplomatic attempts weren't fully fertile as seen in many other invasions that followed...Ever since I've landed on Rattatak, I had followed my own, independent path and all I ever did was trying to act in common interest and protect the innoceng. I had this vision of revolutionizing the desolate planet and so I did. I have abolished slavery and dissolved tyranny, but there is still a bumpy road ahead of me since progress takes time. But what I can say is that I am happy to have joined the FWA, not only because it means that we can establish mutually beneficial trade deals, but also because we can share our visions and align our goals. I do believe in peace and justice and I'm also here because I want to help you", her voice was soft as she laid out the truth for him, her eyes meeting his as the Catamaran started taking them away. She was curious about the Senator's reaction, especially because this was something personal for him. She could understand his point of view, yet she was a firm believer in peace and it order to accomplish peace, some aspects of the pasts needed to be put aside. She would never want him to forget what had been or even like the Sith or, for example, the ISC, but it would be best for the whole galaxy if conversations across the most influential factions would be started and if the events of the past could be diplomatically discussed, so that actual peace treaties could perhaps be established in thr near future.

Aezzairrfhowrrhudrrl nodded sagely as he listened to Celeste recount her history. Hearing how she'd turned the planet of Rattatak around since breaking away from the Sith Empire pleased him; not only did the FWA need more leaders like her, who weren't afraid to roll up their sleeves and get things done, it was proof to him that the Empire was not as unified in its desire for their unjust war as they led the galaxy to believe. A satisfied feeling settled in the Wookiee's brain as he was, in his mind, vindicated.

Of course, he had to be diplomatic about his thoughts; it would not do for Celeste to feel welcomed in the FWA only because she had left the Sith Empire; the FWA was so much more than a mutual defense pact. "Kashyyyk is pleased to welcome you to the Free World's Alliance" he said once she was finished. "And your efforts to bring prosperity to your planet without the influence of the Sith Empire are commendable. But more importantly for Rattatak, the FWA is the largest trade alliance in the galaxy, and although Kashyyyk has seen better days, you will find that we still have much to offer the galaxy." Kashyyyk's prodigious growth across the planet made its agriculture industry its strongest feature, and the planet was finally able to export food again after years of rebuilding. Still, he didn't want to assume that he knew what Rattatak desired. "What are you looking to trade for?"

She watched the Wookie's reaction as she was indeed slightly afraid he might judge her too harsh on that. She was, however, still convinced she could openly talk to him about anything and she could surely outline her own thoughts in detail, but this wasn't even necessary as Aezzairrfhowrrhudrrl reacted rather mildly. She was positively surprised which she showed in the way her warm smile widened at the Senator's polite response. "I thank you kindly for having such an open heart and mind. I firmly believe in peace and it's like I said. All we need to do is starting open and honest conversations at first".

It was a good thing the Catamaran was indeed so steady because this way her nausea was still fading away. "And yes, trade. An crucial subject. What I can tell you about Rattatak is that we are relatively resource poor, even though I'm about to start some deeper drilling to change that. I'm convinced that we might find something deep down. However, growing crops is essential and the Rattataki sun is unrelentless, so what I'm currently looking for are food imports. The Rattataki have managed to survive on the few plants that are growing and the prey they can hunt, but it's not fully sufficient. What I can offer for export, on the other hand, are a few things. We're doing with the production of ships, weapons and the training of loyal, strong soldiers. Please do not get me wrong. The last thing I want is promoting war. What I do want is to be able to defend my own planet, which I still hope, would never have to become necessary". Celeste knew that the Wookie population had suffered from great losses, so perhaps she could indeed be of help with any resettlement programs.

Celeste was someone who got right down to business, and Aezzairrfhowrrhudrrl appreciated that. He'd spent a disproportionate part of his political career listening to flowery speeches that could be summed up in mere sentences, so to find someone who didn't beat around the bush was a breath of fresh air. Celeste's inclusion into the FWA was already reaping benefits for the Alliance.

The Wookiee particularly liked the sound of what Rattatak could offer Kashyyyk. Their defenses had been weakened significantly in the wake of the bombardment, and Aezzairrfhowrrhudrrl knew that it was only a matter of time before the Sith returned to finish what they started. Food was something that Rattatak needed... Kashyyyk hungered for security.

By now, the scars of the Onager's bombardment had been left in the distance; only the vibrant green of the planet was visible as far as the eye could see. A practiced eye could tell that, with the exception of the Wroshyr trees, the growth on this area of the planet was new; a result of the horrific fires that had raged across the planet after the bombardment. The catamaran slowly banked towards a massive Wroshyr tree that towered above the canopy; the Senators' destination.

"Defense of our planets in the FWA is important" the Wookiee nodded, "and security extends to more than just weapons." A humanoid army marched on its stomach. "We have a surplus of foodstuffs that we can send to Rattatak, and in exchange I am curious about what kinds of weapons and ships you can manufacture." He had his own ideas for how best to rebuild the defenses of his planet, but soliciting advice from someone who knew how the Empire operated was a wise idea.

Celeste was perhaps even slightly excited to see the reaction of her fellow senator. She was rather sure that Kashyyyk had no problems when it came to agriculture and she was also assuming that the Wookies were still weakened, so that her own surplus of weapons and ships and soldiers could be of help.

The two senators had spoken about this before. The FWA needed to strengthen its defenses, but not to be able to attack, but solely for protective purposes. That was exactly why Celeste had wanted to schedule a private meeting with the Senator of Kashyyyk. Their planets were a perfect fit for a mutually beneficial symbiosis, that was indeed the potential Celeste saw.

It was, however, almost hard to focus in such an amazing scenery. It was unfortunately obvious that Kashyyyk was still scared from the bombardments and the fires of the past, but it made Celeste extremely hopeful that the amazing Wroshyr trees still stood tall and mostly unscathed. She had heard stories about the massive trees and how they were impressively sturdy and durable and it was indeed wonderful to witness their beauty first-handedly.

When Aezzairrfhowrrhudrrl answered, she nodded softly while the smile on her lips was still genuine."If you would be willing to do that, I would be very grateful. I've already spoken to our fellow senator Rrodossk, because he was also quite interested in building a fleet in the name of the FWA and i will tell you just the same: We are specialized in manufacturing smaller ships like fighters, corvettes and frigates. In regard to weaponry, we can offer everything inbetween smaller blasters and heavy laser canons. The Rattataki were surprisingly advanced when it came to the technology of their weapons and I have tried my best to help them by introducing and establishing more efficient productive procedures". As she explained, her tone was still, rather soft and she paused for a moment to let him consider her words. She still felt obliged to add an important detail in case it didnt come across clear enough:"I need to mention something else again. I'm not looking to fuel the war industry. I'm desperately hoping times are about to change and we do not have to assume there's just another threat lurking in the depth of the galaxy anymore. I know that we need to be able to defend ourselves, but I'm not looking to provide anyone with machinery fit to be send into invasions, but from what I've heard of you so far, you're on the exact same page and all you share my vision of safety, peace and justice".

Aezzairrfhowrrhudrrl wasn't certain how much he liked the idea of a purely defensive war against the Sith- not with so many former FWA planets languishing under the Empire's rule- but that was not a conversation that he had to have today with Celeste; it would be enough to begin the process of ensuring that when the Sith came back that that they would find Kashyyyk ready and capable of defending itself. To that end, he had a couple of plans in motion; the simplest of which could be accomplished today.

Nodding his head sagely as he listened to Celeste's words, the Wookiee went with an easy "ask" that would match up nicely with Celetse's expressed desire to help the FWA defend itself. "Are you familiar with the Defender-class Shield Generator?" he asked wishing that this conversation had happened ten or even five years ago. "I wish to protect Kashyyyk's cities and its people by obtaining several in order to ward off another planetary bombardment. Is Rattatak able to produce these?" So far he'd heard her discuss ships and cannons, but not dedicated shields.

She had expected that this meeting would surely work rather well, but she had not assumed that what they both had to offer would complement each other so perfectly when it came to trade. In regard to the war situation they surely still had a lot to discuss, especially if they would extend their conversation to the ongoing war with the Empire and to the subject of freeing planets, but this would be a future conversation, presumably held in a bigger circle.

That just reminded her of something else though: Sooner or later they would have to call for a new FWA meeting because it seemed like many planets recently underwent a change of power. But first things first. Before she drifted off, she focused back on Aezzairrfhowrrhudrrl, the warm smile still on her lips. "I've heard of it. I always try to keep myself updated on history, politics and tech. Rattatak would be surely able to produce them since our facilities are quite capable, although the acquisition of military grade reactor cores could be harder...". Harder...but not impossible. She surely had the financial sources, but they were still rather rare.

Aezzairrfhowrrhudrrl waved away her concerns about the reactors. With Kashyyyk's defenses being overhauled, there was room in the budget for them. "The infrastructure is already in place or is being upgraded. Obtaining the shields is my main concern." Normally, he'd have gone to New Alderaan for such technology, but the invasion had made that impossible. However, their conversation approached a brief breaking point as the Catamaran landed gently on a Wroshyr tree.

A short, sturdy rope bridge led to an open-air room with a canopy, which struck a balance between shielding the Senators from the sun while still giving an expansive view of the lush planet around them. A table, with a chair for each of them, was set with light fare and refreshments; this was a dedicated space for receiving foreign dignitaries.

Aezzairrfhowrrhudrrl politely indicated a chair for Celeste to sit in, and waited until she had sat before seating himself across her. There was water already in a glass, but he would not be hosting if he didn't offer something stronger. "Would you like a drink, Senator?" he asked. It was well-known across the galaxy that wine aged in Wroshyr-wood casks was amongst the best one could buy. The Wookiee himself was waiting for the opportune time to crack open a bottle of 0BBY, but now was not that occasion. At least her deliberation and answer would give him time to decide which direction he wanted to take this conversation, out of the two ideas present on his mind; ask for planetary defense guns, or discuss a resettlement program.

Celeste couldn't help but to chuckle softly as he gestured a bit. She appreciated his optimism, because that was something they clearly had in common. "That's perfect. We've just recently started the development of the prototypes for the new FWA fleet, but we do have capacity for other tech, and i see a great potential for those Shield Generators. I'll consult with my experts as soon as I'm back on my ship", she replied as the Catamaran landed on a tree, her statement being an informal promise since there was actually nothing speaking against the production. If they could acquire the reactors, Kashyyyk would soon have their Shield Generators and then they could also discuss the resettlement.

Celeste let out a barely noticeable sigh of relief as they entered the ground again, even if they were still high up in the trees. The Catamaran ride had been rather easy going and steady, yet the platform felt better than being in the actual air, but at least her nausea wasn't too bad today anyway. She took a seat and gracefully crossed her legs, but as the droid suddenly translated his request for an actual drink she swallowed hard. Of course she had been prepared for such circumstances and how to professionally deal with such a situation, but it still slightly caught her off guard and so she cleared her throat first, before she politely replied. "I thank you kindly, although I would have to decline. I prefer to keep my mind fully clear". A cheap excuse, but she was extremely polite and convincing about it. This hadn't been her first time. The truth was, that she would have loved to try some of his Kashyyykian liquid delicacies, but of course alcohol was a complete taboo.

Aezzairrfhowrrhudrrl nodded gracefully as Celeste declined the alcoholic beverage- he did not judge his fellow Senator for not imbibing, especially during negotiations such as this. A wave of his hand dismissed the serving Wookiee, who hovered inconspicuously at the edge of the meeting space, ready to refill their waters as needed. The news about the shield generators had put Aezzairrfhowrrhudrrl in a good mood, and he decided to go with the less divisive issue on his mind; one that Celeste was unlikely to be able to solve, but could certainly help brainstorm.

After taking a drink of his own water glass, the Wookiee broached a new subject. "This war has opened my eyes to other ways I have failed my people, and those of the FWA" he said, growing somber for a moment. "Even before the bombardment, the ISCRA was the foremost aid agency in the galaxy" Aezzairrfhowrrhudrrl said, bitterness tinting his tone as he brought up the aid agency which had taken advantage of his planet's crisis to score political points. "But since they no longer operate within FWA space, there is a great need for humanitarian operations; most notably, a resettlement program for refugees."

Aezzairrfhowrrhudrrl had made a similar pitch to his own planetary government a few days ago, although he'd called it an "opportunity" instead; an opportunity to reposition Kashyyyk as a leader within the FWA, and to supplement its shattered population. "But before we even get that far, we must face the fact that there is no program designed to conduct evacuations or rapid response and rescue operations within our borders. But I wish to design a fleet to do just that." It was one of the areas where having access to an incredibly diverse FWA naval fleet would pay dividends. "What kind of ships or capabilities should be prioritized in a humanitarian fleet?" Aezzairrfhowrrhudrrl had his own ideas, but Celeste knew how the Sith worked.

She was quite relieved as no questions were asked, and it was even more relieving when Aezzairrfhowrrhudrrl didn't reach for any alcoholic beverages either. The smile on her lips was still genuine as the atmosphere of this meeting was completely relaxed and pleasant, even better than she had expected. It was a good thing that they were getting along so well as Celeste had hoped that all FWA senators would work together much closer in the near future.

The good mood of the Senator of Kashyyyk quickly started to fade once he opened a new subject and while she took a sip of her cooled water her eyes attentively rested on the tall politician in front of her. "Unfortunately, you might be right with that. I see it similarly. We are in desperate need of humanitarian aid, but we shouldn't dwell on the past". She was dearly hoping to cheer him up as she was indeed feeling extremely hopeful. "There is change on the horizon...so much fresh wind in the FWA and inappreciate your farsightedness. I completely agree with you there. It would be wonderful if we could offer our help and I do know that it is possible. Our influence is growing within the galaxy and I don't mean that in a menacing way at all. Through our close collaboration we can all strengthen our planets and rebuild what had been broken", she went on in a soft, yet optimistic tone.

He soon hinted at this fleet idea and as Celeste had her own multifaceted ideas, she was happy to share her thoughts. "It seems like you are reading my mind, senator. I have already met the Trandoshan senator to discuss possible fleet ideas, but we have merely focused on fighters and corvettes to establish a defensive fleet that should protect our planets in a case of emergency. What you are mentioning, however, is much more important. If we want to help the innocent, we also need transports. Unfortunately, we are not specialized on larger ships on Rattatak, yet we could definitely pitch our ideas to other systems. In my eyes, we would have to focus on something else as well though: We need an actual refuge. We have hintef at this possibility once we started our Catamaran ride, but perhaps we should speak clearly: Would you consider establishing camps for refuges her on Kashyyyk? Arranging transportation might not be too difficult, but we do need space and resources to harbour the refugees. Of course i would happily assist you financially", she then explained as a mild breeze traveled through the air. Kashyyyk was definitely a beautiful and fertile place, yet their endeavor was everything but easy.

Grateful as he was that Celeste seemed on board with the idea of a resettlement program on Kashyyyk, the Senator from Rattatak hadn't really answered Aezzairrfhowrrhudrrl's question. The Wookiee had already decided to begin a resettlement program on Kashyyyk, but the question was which ships to use for evacuation. "I'm committed to making Kashyyyk a refuge for anyone fleeing the Sith or other hardships" he said, nodding in agreement with Celeste's idea. "As for the transportation you mention, I've begun designing a rapid-response fleet for humanitarian missions." That he was taking a page out of the ISC's book wasn't something he was willing to admit. "I wish to procure several ships to aid in evacuations and other humanitarian missions. The ships would be strictly used for humanitarian purposes. What do you think of obtaining some CR90 Corvettes to form the backbone of this fleet?" The Wookiee had chosen the ship for a couple reasons; not only was it fast and well-protected, making it perfect for getting in and out of difficult situations, but it had ample room for passengers and supplies. It also had long-range sensors and communications, which would allow it to scan for distress signals and broadcast its humanitarian messages.

This was the last item on his agenda today- the defense cannons he could commission elsewhere, and he didn't want to push for too much from such a new ally. Celeste had been more than generous- no wonder she hadn't stayed with the Empire- and Aezzairrfhowrrhudrrl was curious if there was more that she wanted to accomplish during their meeting.

After she had taken another sip she nodded affirmatively. She had intently listened to the Senator of Kashyyyk, respecting his open and direct approach as this was exactly what they needed. Words did not have to be cloaked by vague outlines and explanations as they were both quite aware of the current state of the galaxy.

His idea of building a humanitarian fleet was noble and she was positively surpised by their agreement of various points. It would not just benefit the FWA if they would strengthen their fleets, but they could actually try to do good and save the innocent of they would have the ship's required for such an endeavor. "I do like the idea of a rapid response fleet and I agree with your choice. The CR90 corvettes can not only transport a decent amount of passengers, but they are also fast and well equipped she paused, emptying her glass, her eyes resting on the senator.

"Like I said, I can offer financial aid for possible purchases, but we are also intensely working on the protypes of a new series of corvettes. I wish we would have started earlier...then I would have been able to offer you even better news today, but I'm afraid for now we need to consider buying existing models of the market", she replied a bit thoughtful before she let her gaze wander across the beautiful scenery of Kashyyyk and the Wroshyr trees again.

It was refreshing, Aezzairrfhowrrhudrrl reflected, to be around a politician who didn't seem to be waiting to pounce on his every word like a Nexu. Not for the first time, he marveled at Celeste's admission that she had been a member of the Sith Empire. Her concerns about refugees and defensive fleets hardly lined up with the Empire's ideals; this was an ally that he did not want to lose.

Two separate threads pulled at Aezzairrfhowrrhudrrl's attention as he listened to Celeste speak. One was to continue the conversation about the CR90 Corvettes; iconic ships that would certainly stand as a beacon of hope amidst the dark threat of the Sith. The other was to question his fellow Senator about the new prototypes she had just hinted about.

In the end, curiosity won.

"I'm glad that we're in agreement about using CR90s for this fleet" he said, leaning in slightly to indicate his interest. "But this is the first I've heard of new prototypes being developed by the FWA. Is there any way Kashyyyk can help? We've been investing in our shipbuilding industries as part of the rebuilding process, and our native designs have long served with distinction. We have capacity to help in the design and construction process, if you're willing to share details?" The catamaran was just one of the famed Wookiee-designed vehicles that had defended Kashyyyk against outside threats, but it had been years since they'd designed or mass-produced anything new. Besides, with the refugee program getting underway there was a good chance to be able to tap into the creative minds of those who had fled New Alderaan.

Celeste leaned back in a very relaxed way. This conversation was indeed rather pleasant, refr3shing even and neither tense nor a heated debate. That was exactly why she was enjoying this negotiating, if this was even the right term for their meeting.

If she was being honest, it felt more like a meeting with an old friend. The smile on her lips was still genuine and she happily enjoyed both the view and this relaxed conversation, especially because it now took a very interesting turn."Oh I'll gladly share details! After all, I'm not just developing the Rattataki fleet, but we are really trying to strengthen our FWA fleet. Here", she began, taking out her personal device, offering her fellow Senator the transmission of the data required. If he would accept, she would transfer the folder and lean back afterwards.

"As for the help, we always gladly accept support. We need more resources in order to speed up our productions. It will take many years to achieve actual progress, but I'm being super hopeful. It is my vision to build up our defensive
fleet as fast as possible, so that we will never have to experience tragedies like what happened here on Kashyyyk. If Kashyyyk could supply us with more materials, we might be able to get ahead of our schedule..."
her soft voice slightly trailed off as she was considering that point for a moment. She had enough workers, capabilities and credits, but they needed more materials.

Old eyes pored over the designs shared with him by Celeste; at a glance, Aezzairrfhowrrhudrrl had to admit that they had potential. The prospect of building new ships excited him; the main shipbuilding company on Kashyyyk, Appazanna Engineering Works, was in talks to potentially absorb the foremost laser cannon company on the jungle planet; Sureggi. A merger would mean better coordination and logistics, and could potentially position Kashyyyk as a fledging shipbuilding power with enough resources.

Unfortunately, the resources that both he and Rattatak required would not be found on Kashyyyk.

"Rare minerals such as the ones used for building starships and weapons are our largest import" he responded to Celeste's request for metals and other mined materials. "I'm afraid you will have to look elsewhere in the FWA to find them. Perhaps Gannaria?" he suggested, naming a planet nearby Rattatak. Gannaria, despite a checkered past, also had an up-and-coming Senator, and Aezzairrfhowrrhudrrl wished to strengthen the ties amongst the FWA worlds in as many ways as he could; mutual trade deals being one of his main tools for doing so. In his experience, planets were quicker to respond to crises when their industries were being affected. The fact that Gannaria didn't currently supply Kashyyyk would also keep Kashyyyk's competition in their current market- and, by extension, prices- lower.
