Okay...step one done, get him to stop....

"A lot of reasons. One, this time there's evidence. The murder of your loved one for instance. That's never happened before. Also, this time he's actually in custody. And in his state, he can't exactly move far or fast."

The Anzati mulled the words over for a moment, eyes darting about as thoughts rapidly processed through his mind. After several long moments, the tension visibly disappeared from his body. “Alright, Jedi, you win.” He walked slowly to his left, preparing to lean against the door of what appeared to be an empty room. “I'll tu-

He never got to finish. As he leaned back on the door, it whizzed open. Fall swiftly onto his back, he looked over to see a Togruta girl, a youngling who had hit the door release when she'd heard voices outside her door. As the nano-seconds ticked by, his gaze shifted to his hand, which in the moment of falling panic has depressed the detonator. He wanted to say he was sorry. He tried to, but his body erupted into an inferno before he could so much as whisper.

Whoever, to the Force attuned senses, time moved much slower. One could perceive the fact that the Anzati was going to unwillingly depress the button before it happened. And while one may not be able to prevent it from happening, those precious seconds were enough time to take some action. The only question that remains, is what action would one take.

(Sorry, but I had planned on him blowing up from the start. Go ahead and have your next post be what Juisk does before he's blow backwards towards the window. At the moment, the bomber is the only one who is guaranteed dead. So don't go Rping your death or the death of anyone else in this building until after my next post.

Sorry, if I'm a little vague here, but I'm trying to say you still have a bit of time to take action but without leading you towards what action that is.)

(I'll be the only padawan to have died in training....)

Jusik felt more than saw the depressor go down, in excruciatingly slow motion. He let instinct take over.

The force leaped through his body, and he used the speed in his legs to dive forwards, taking the Togruta girl with him as he dived into the room that she had been in moments before, sending a barley aimed blast of power behind him both in an attempt to prople them further from the explosion and push the man back into the hall. He hit the floor with the small child underneath him, and he tried to summon up a shield over the two of them, but eyes closed tight and microseconds speeding up, he didn't know if it worked or not. He could only focus on the small life beneath him, this innocent girl, caught in the crossfire, as they were both about to become one with the force.

(So now there should be a wall between the kid and I, and the bomber, we're on the floor, and the kid is underneath me as I'm shielding her with my body.)

(Aye, I can be brutal. Stuff like this makes for interesting stories though.)

As Cnile skidded to a halt in front of the hospital, the flicker of warning she received was more than enough to throw her into action. Instinctively pin pointing her Padawan, diving towards some form of danger or another, she encompassed him in a Force grip. As she began to jerk her Padawan and the small body he was curled around out of the window, she couldn't help but think that people who say explosions are loud, have either never been near one or are very skilled in understatement. The brutal shockwave washed over the moments before the fireball chased the pair of bodies out of the building.

Flaming tongues licked at the edges of Juisk's instinctive force shield as a barrage of shrapnel hammered them. She deftly guided them to the ground in front of her, quickly kneeling next to them. She knew at the moment she radiated nothing but concern and worry, but she didn't bother to keep those emotions in check as she began to assess the pair's condition. The Togruta girl, thanks to her Padawan's protection, had fared well enough a few stray pieces of shrapnel having grazed her. Quickly handing her off to one of the emergency responders who's words were drowned out by the ringing in her ears, she returned her attention to her Padawan. His condition was a fair bit worse than that of the girl, but still survivable.

She leaned over him, catching his attention, she touched his mind once more. “You did well.” she projected into his mind, knowing that the Force of the explosion had likely left him as deaf as it had her, “We're going to get you back to the temple.” Lifting him up with the Force, she drew him into a waiting airspeeder.

((Deafness is temporary, any lasting effects are yours to pick, if any. I figure we can go ahead and post a few more times, and I'll put you into a healing trance, and then we can start another thread of when you get out of the kolto tanks. Thoughts?))

Funny, the things you think of on the edge of death....

Juisk thought this through the haze that was fogging his mind. He had felt his masters words, and was barley aware as the small girl he had been shielding being taken away, to where, he didn't know.

Guardians indeed.....it was just instinct, doing what I did...

His vision swam, he was barley able to make out his master above him. He tried to speak, but could barley open his mouth. Faintly aware of being picked up and put inside what appeared to be an airspeeder, he felt litle but pain, too tired to block it out. Most of it came from his back and his left forearm, but he couldn't tell what had happened to it.

He was just barley able to proect his thought through the force in the general direction of his master.
Did the little girl make it?....

((Sounds great to me))

Cnile nodded, “She's fine. In much better shape than you.” She allowed herself a wry smile at the comment, shifting her focus from telepathy to healing as the airspeeder began to move, finding it hard to focus on both while fighting the ringing in her ears. Her smile was quickly replaced by a frown as she sensed the pain radiating off of him. “I'm going to put you into a healing trance.” she quickly said as she shifted her focus back to telepathy, “Just relax, and trust in the Force. You'll be fine.

(I'm keeping the scar on my right forearm, but that's all I plan on keeping permanantly.)

Juisk nodded weakly,"Good....it's wrong to die for no reason...."

His last conscious sight was the roof of the speeder, as his eyes closed and he felt himself at some measure of peace.

((Not....really sure what more I can put:P))
