Rhem

A rather tall young man. Rhem is a green eyed, red haired human. When first meeting him. Many people would be struck by simply how normal he looks. Not particularly striking or ugly. Rhem is rather unassuming and plain. But he is a lightly built young man with a sprinter's physique​

DISTINGUISHING MARKS: Rhem's back is covered in old scars. Some appear to be burns, and on closer inspection, some appear to have been made with a knife.
FORCE SENSITIVE: Yes

STRENGTH: Rather low. While he could hold his own against your average citizen. Rhem's physical strength is not great compared to anyone who decides to focus on physical power.

DEXTERITY: Since he knows he will never defeat anyone in a contest of strength. Rhem had put a lot of time into training his speed and agility. This area could be considered his strongest point that most casual observers would notice. Since he is exceptionally quick on his feet for an Acolyte.
CONSTITUTION:While he is in no danger of malnutrition or catching any diseases, Rhem's constitution is nothing special.
INTELLIGENCE: To put it simply. Rhem is a genius. Capable of rapidly assimilating information and putting it to work. Learning quickly from experience. It is by far his strongest attribute.
WISDOM:Rather low. Rhem is not the type of person to sit down and think about his actions. Preferring to simply act on his whims instead of what might be the wisest actions.
CHARISMA: When it comes to charming others. Rhem is rather capable. Making friends is something he finds easy. However he is no master manipulator. He could possibly win over some common folk. But falls short of experienced political players.

PERSONALITY:
One would think that attempting to master supernatural dark arts would make someone ambitious, callous and cruel. But the opposite is true for Rhem. He is actually a rather affable individual. Usually wandering around with a small smile on his face, whistling a small tune under his breath.


Another odd thing about Rhem is his desire to make friends and form bonds with others. While this is normal behavior for an average person. It is in no way a fitting way for a Sith to behave. Rhem knows this, but still regards most people he meets as potential friends and allies. Preferring to build bonds instead of burning bridges. He also holds a great dislike for those who use their power for petty cruelty and sadism. To Rhem, actions like that serve no purpose and bring out more losses than gains for individuals involved. At least, that is how he justifies it to others. When in fact it is due to his past experiences as a slave causing him to have a great hatred for such base cruelties.

Of course, he is still a Sith. And while he is much more affable than most dark practitioners. He can still be ruthless to those that get in his way or impede his goals. Unless Rhem does consider a person a friend or ally of his. They are practically nothing to him. He would sweep them aside without hesitation if they went out of their way to stop him. But if not, then he would probably just invite them out for drinks.

BIOGRAPHY:

Slavery is sadly a far too common fate for many individuals living in a galaxy far far away. Rhem was no exception to this. It was perhaps a small mercy that he was born into it instead of having his freedom taken from him at a young age. But that is a matter that could be up for debate.

Rhem's master was very harsh but also fair. At a young age he recognized the boy's intelligence and aptitude for technology and gave him duties in order to hone those talents. Of course his own natural spaciness got him in quite a bit of trouble from time to time. Rhem was, for the most part, content with his life. Having no major ambitions beyond what he already had.

That all changed when a passing Sith apprentice showed up in the area and decided that Rhem's master would be a acceptable host for his evening.

The evening went on as expected. A great deal of bowing and scraping from Rhem's master in order to make sure the apprentice would decide that reveling in the usual Sith sadism could wait for another night.

Unfortunately, it did not. The apprentice that had arrived was a cruel one. Nothing more than a bully that had been given a lightsaber. And the choice for the night's "entertainment" was none other than Rhem's older sister who happened to catch his eye.

That was the last choice the foolhardy apprentice ever made.

Something inside Rhem snapped that night. Red-hot anger bubbled up from deep inside him. A hatred he didn't even know he possessed arose. As to him, some bully had decided to torment one of the very few people he called his own.

Lashing out with this new-found power, Rhem snapped the bully's neck with an explosion of energy. Tapping into the dark side of the force for the first time in his life.
When the apprentice's death was reported. Rhem did not receive the punishment he was expecting. Instead he found himself with an opportunity from the Empire. An opportunity that came with an offer he could not refuse from a certain academy.
FORCE POWERS:
While he does have a basic knowledge in each of the core force powers. He could be considered a novice in all but the ones below.
Force Telekinesis: Adept. Capable of knocking over people if he catches them unaware. Possibly capable of more if given a chance to focus. Capable of lifting his own body weight with his power.
Force Jump: Adept. Is capable of leaping to impressive heights with some difficulty
Force Speed: Adept. Possibly his greatest skill so far thanks to his natural speed. Capable of outrunning most and surprising others in combat with sudden bursts of speed.
Force Sense: His skill with this force ability is a latent one. While he can not call upon it at will very often, he still gains flashes of instinct that save his life.
SKILLS:
Mechanical Expertise: Machines interest Rhem. They are one of the few subjects that truly motivate him into working hard. He occasionally makes all kinds of odd devices out of spare parts when he has free time.
Self-sufficient.
Basic first aid
Has the basics of Dun Möch achieved and utilizes it in combat if he spots an opportunity. But with Rhem, it is more trash talking, insults and jokes than deep psychological attacks.
LIGHTSABER/SWORD FORMS:
Form 1: Shii-Cho. He has passing levels of skill with this form. As to be expected from an Acolyte. His level of skill will improve with practice and experience. He finds this form rather boring so he also decided to learn Tràkata to compliment his natural speed and intelligence in order to make up for his lack of physical power.

STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
In terms of strengths. Rhem is very intelligent and resourceful. Capable of turning common scrap into usable technology and learning new skills that happen to interest him.

However when it comes to weaknesses, Rhem is rather scatterbrained. Often spouting nonsensical things and going off on odd tangents in his own mind. Seemingly slipping into day dreams from time to time. To many others, he would seem like a complete fool to pretty much everyone.
He is also rather lazy, often not caring for any subjects that don't catch his interest. Preferring to laze about than actually do any work when it comes to mundane tasks.

He is also ignorant about the wider universe. Having grown up in such a sheltered lifestyle, Rhem lacks a formal education and knows next to nothing about the galaxy around him. Being completely ignorant on many matters such as culture. And while he is very intelligent, he only really knows how to speak and read basic.

GEAR:
A dual-lightsaber that is in fact two lightsabers who's hilts attach to each other. He has yet to master how to use the two sides in tandem so he simply sticks to one side most of the time.

If given time to prepare, he may or may not have some small item that might be useful.
