There was never a time where Borga sat patiently waiting for news to come. Never a time when extreme worry had been eating away at the important and powerful being. Yet on the news that one of his sons was captured and imprisoned, Borga acted without hesitation in order to get him back. And while he would not risk himself, he sent only the best at his command in order to do the job.

Slithering back and forth on the ground level of his own throne room, the Hutt made sure that all lines were cleared, that all transmissions were redirected to other lines and kept away for the time being. The only one he wanted to hear from was the one aboard the shuttle sent to retrieve his son. His champions voice bringing him good news was all he wanted to hear at this moment, and he didnt care if it would cost him his seat on the Hutt Council.

"Master, a transmission has come in. Icarus and Yirim have successfully freed Bragaa." The Chevin was connected by a headset to the transmission terminal, a highly technological feed that required special knowledge to operate and one that could broadcast from systems deep.

Borga fell against the steps, his large and slug-like body folding to the crevice of each step. Several servants jumped at the sight, a rare sight f the Hutts vulnerability.

"Back off!" He demanded, the order sent shrills down their spine.

The Hutt was relieved, a deep sigh let everyone know.

"I dont know whether to be grateful, or infuriated by his foolishness." He said thinking of how his son could have let this happen. He then thoguht back to when he was captured and imprisoned, though he didnt care. He learned from his mistakes...and paid for it. How a son of his could find himself in a similar situation infuriated him, though he was happy to know he could help him. If only he had the same opportunity.

The Hutt waited patiently for their return.

Icarus led the team, and the shuttle was now docking back at the Hutts grand palace. Bragaa and Yirim both seated with the rest of the Dashade guards, awaiting their return.

"Know what you are going to say. Your father put his career on the line for you." The Kushari made sure Bragaa knew the extent of what they had to do to accomplish his freedom.

Bragaa had been silent the entire ride back and now that they had actually arrived he seemed...a bit irritated. Maybe a bit of apprehension and some slight nervousness thrown in there. They began the docking procedures and the young Hutt sighed to himself as the Kushari turned towards him. He spoke gruffly with a bit of a growl, which perhaps he always did but it didn't improve the Hutt's mood to think the cat was being snippy with him, and said, "Know what you are going to say. Your father put his career on the line for you."

"Are you giving me an order? Not sure I appreciate the sentiment from a former slave." Bragaa said slowly turning to face the large beast-man. His face showed little emotion, least of all fear, while he stared into the warrior's eyes. He did sigh however and knew the man didn't deserve then insult. But a Hutt never apologized. "But you are a free man now so I will take your words as advice, but do as I see fit. As for putting it all on the line? I'm sure he did. Let's nominate him for father of the year, shall we? You may not know but he and I were not on the best of terms for, oh I don't know, the better part of three decades. I wasn't the favored son. I didn't want everything handed to me but my father paid me almost no attention. He gave Arok everything, until the bit of tough love I heard about during his stint in prison."

"I'm surprised he wants to see me after our last fight; the day I left."
Bragaa looked out the window as the ship set down on the landing pad. He was angry that his father had come to the rescue, but he was also grateful. On the one hand he didn't want have his freedom handed to him but on the other he didn't want to go to whatever hellhole the Imps had planned on taking him too. Luckily his old friend Yirim had found him and by extension his father. So he supposed, that if you looked at it one way he had gotten himself out by send the Echani as his envoy. "I suppose I shouldn't be so angry. But Hutts do have long memories. If he sent an entire battalion to sack an Imperium prison, well, I can hardly be too cross. I had it all you know. Before the damn Imperium came along. I was building my own little criminal empire, maybe then he would have been proud of me like he always of his eldest."

He shrugged and sat up as the ramp of the ship descended, opening onto his father's domain. He fiddled with his holster and the blaster within as he followed the procession out. "Well...let's not keep father dearest waiting. He hates being patient."

The Kushari said nothing. He was in a difficult position. While he knew that his master, Borga, held him in such high regards he understood that family comes first. Which was the very answer to the question Bragaa asked about why he came to his sons rescue. In this case, Icarus didnt know where he stood, though he supposed all things were circumstantial when it came to him and his masters son. Without responding, Icarus did agree not to keep Borga waiting, and so he led the team along with Yirim and Bragaa to Borga's throne room. Walking out of the hangar and into the interior of the palace, Icarus wondered just how many times Bragaa stepped foot in this palace. It was acquired after the Hutt's incarceration afterall.

"Icarus, my champion. I cannt thank you enough for rescuing my son. I understand it was a dangerous mission and you left without hesitation, another reason why you are one of the few to earn my complete trust." The fat Hutt said endearingly as he entered followed by Yirim and Bragaa then the rest of the Dashade guards.

"And Yirim, you have also earned my trust...and funds. You can expect operations to the construction of a lab not far from my palace. Equipped with whatever you might need and employed assistants to help you produce your experiments right away."

Finally the Hutt turned to his son.

"Bragaa...how have you been?" Truthfully, Borga did not know what to say. He wasnt the best in these types of situations which was probably why he found himself fighting with his sons, especially Bragaa. Though he was kin, heir to Borga's legacy. And Borga respected that truth.

"Oh, you know. Set up my own little empire, got raided by the Imperium, and ended up imprisoned. Normal things." Said Bragaa offhandedly. Truth be told he hadn't been sure what to think. He was still angry of course, but confused and hopefully as well. It had been decades after all and he had never really gotten any kind of closure. He had pushed it aside. But now he was forced to talk to his father in the flesh.

"I made something of myself, on my own, I just lost it along the way thanks to the kriffing Imps." He said with a huff. "Then they were going to use me as a pawn in the escalating conflict. Unfortunantly for them, they didn't realize I wasn't as valuable as they hoped considering we haven't talked in years. Not sure how that negotiation would have gone for them. Anyways, I'm here. Thank you for the rescue. Is there anything else or will that be all father dearest?"

Borga was disgusted with his sons behavior. His sarcasm hid any sign of gratitude that he might have had, which led to more anger to grow in the large Hutt. Having risked his career to save his son, Borga could care less about whatever conflicts they had before hand. He was still, and no offspring of Borga Vosadii Pronda was going to be used as a token, let alone imprisoned.

"And how would you act if I had done nothing? How would you feel if I let you rot in that prison? I'm sure you would have cursed my name and worse. Your life would be over...done. It's as simple as that. And now here you stand, me not expecting anything but some gratitude, and you could care less. You say that you have made something of yourself...excellent, I am happy for you. But what did you really accomplish if you can be so easily captured. All I ask for is gratitude and understanding. Forget whatever shit happened between us, obviously I care enough to come to your rescue."

The Hutt looked disgusted, but what could he really do? He wasnt one to keep grudges against his own family. And even if Bragaa continued his animosity towards him, the Con Lorda would not go after whatever reputation the younger Hutt has managed to acquire on his own, even if he clearly could.

"Think about what an ally I can be. Do things on your own, I am not saying anything will be handed to you, but use what power I can offer to you only to your benefit...think about this my son."

Bragaa sighed softly. He supposed he could be more grateful, but his father had always taught him a Hutt never apologizes. He stood up straighter and tried to lose his attitude, "I didn't mean I was ungrateful. More like I'm disappointed in myself for ending up in the situation and needing to be saved. I suppose I should let go of the past. Though you can't expect decades of hard feelings to just dissipate instantly."

And how do you suggest we go about this...renewal of kinship?"
Inquired Bragaa. He wasn't good with feelings or reconciliation. Neither was his father from how this conversation was going. Hutts weren't exactly known for touchy feel-y aspects, even when it came to family though he at least did respect what his father had built. He had heard that he was made a Lorda after his incarceration and he did have quite the empire built here.
