The feed cut on revealing a young man. A mischievous smirk tugged at the corner of his lip, but his verdant eyes were hard as durasteel. He was dressed in battle gear. It was tattered. His sleeve was ripped, his doublet was opened, and grit was smeared across his formally white tunic.
“I’m Jedi Knight Leon Baudelaire,” he announced to the universe. “I’ll keep this short, because as the galaxy seems to already know, The Order is at war.”
“To those that have stood up in opposition to The Empire’s invasion. Thank you. We won’t betray your faith, on that you have my word. To those under siege by the monsters of the dark, we’re coming. These beasts are terrifying, but they aren’t unstoppable.”
Steel settled into Leon’s voice as he said, “And to our allies under attack in our own territory. Know that we will not stand for the Empire’s atrocities, but we can’t do it without you.”
Leon’s voice was rising, his tone was the sound of flint being struck. His words were the sparks set forth to ignite the dried up and withering hope of the people that put their trust in the Jedi.
“Make the Empire regret their choice. Make them fight for it. Resist them at every turn. Show them that you will NOT let them take your HOME!”
“Finally, to Darth Raze, thank you.” Leon’s voice was matter of fact. “You’ve awakened a power that has been complacent for far too long. You’ve awakened…”
The Knight’s smirk returned and spread into a knowing smile.
"...The Light.”
The feed cut out.
